Hilton Fort Lauderdale Airport - דניה ביץ'

I stay at 3-4 hotels per month and this was among the worst, certainly bad for a Hilton. 46min wait for airport shuttle, charged per device for Internet (with no notice or refund), very outdated hotel, various unpleasant aromas. Semi-friendly staff in need of customer service revamp. Stay elsewhere even for a few bucks more.

The room was not terrible but it needed some cleaning up. The wall next to the bed looked like coffee was thrown at it and could of probable been repainted. The air condition unit door was not even attached and when pulled back you could see all the dust in there, which could be a health issue. One more point - why do the hotels charge you $15 or more to park your car when you are staying at their hotel and it is not even guaranteed that it is safe to park there?

While the outside looked lovely, I'm afraid the inside needs some work. I don't know if its the carpeting or what but the smell inside the hotel makes you want to gag. Other the that the bed was comfortable, would I stay here again I would really have to be desperate.

The room rate was great but the surprise was a 22 dollar parking fee plus tip... Drinks are pricey the wine list is not good .. They should try some California wines .. Napa and Passo Robles make some great wines

Bed was crooked, and breakfast was cold.

Comfortable bed and nice staff. Close to airport was a plus. The hotel could use a fresh coat of paint on the room doors. They were pretty dirty and worn.

My stay was really good but they have to charge less for self parking, overall a very nice hotel.

Very outdated hotel.

the pool was nice room was clean the lady at the front desk had no personality that took care of us.The other girl at the front desk which was not takeing care of me was much more friendly

Place was run down and the room stunk of cigarettes. Maybe a 2 star at best.

I did not like the extra fee for Internet access.

This Hilton did not live up to expections of its name. The A/C was broke and room smell. The bed sheets was rip and needed to be updated.

Due to an accident at the airport we had to wait over an hour for a shuttle. It took 3 calls to the hotel (and getting a different story each time) before they dispatched a van. The driver was rude telling us to hurry up we were traveling g with a handicapped person! Next a prom had been booked in a room that was 3 floors down from us in an open atrium music was too loud. I won't stay at this hotel again.

The hotel was by the airport and that is why we stayed as we had an early flight out. It was probably a nice hotel back in the 80s but it needs a lot of updating which is suprising since it is a conference center. The neighborhood its in did not seem safe. We rounded the corner to find 6 cop cars arresting a bunch of people and 2 cop cars arresting other people on the corner. Needless to say we ate dinner in our hotel room.

Room was located too far to the very end of the hall. Parking was too far and I was concern for my safety. Did not know that I had to pay for parking. Had an issue with FD agent who said that she was unable to run my c/c and tried 7 times. I went to the ATM and was able to use the same c/c for a withdrawal. After I would have paid the cash onto the a/c then she ask for some other form of payment. I told her the same c/c that you have on file. Then of course the same card that she was unable to run has been debited $15.19. Dont know what that is for. Overall not a pleasant experience.

I liked this hotel a lot. The staff is very friendly, especially the shuttle driver, the lobby is quite nice and comfortable. Both times we stayed we arrived early and had no problem checking in. The rooms are typical hotel rooms, they're clean and comfortable. I loved sitting by the pool on the patio it's very nice out there. The hotel gift shop is nice with nice staff. The restaurant is quite expensive so we didn't eat there, the front desk has menus for delivery and the food we ordered from there was great. I would definitely stay here again. BTW I work for IHG hotels and when I called the Ft. Lauderdale IHG properties the staff was very rude so I chose to stay outside of my preferred hotel brand and I'm glad I did.

They charge self-parking , internet ..... Horrible !!!!

The look, location and cleanliness were all fine, but there was a "spice" type smell in all the hallways that was very strong and then our room was very musty smelling.

Hard to find from airport. overpriced, front desk terrible service. Charged $22 for valet parking & $15 for self parking in an uncovered parking lot! Room was dirty, lobby smelled musty. Restaurant was high priced. At best the room was very motel 6 quality. Thought it would be special but was terribly disappointed.

There was old food sitting on a tray outside our room when we checked in. I called the front desk, but nothing had been done about it 2 hours later. Also, the shuttle was supposed to run every 30 minutes, but I had to wait 48 minutes. Yes, I know, that's only 18 minutes, but that is still 48 minutes outdoors in hot, humid south Florida. That being said, the bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. I gave the "surrounding neighborhood" a "2" as I was told the adjacent swamp was full of poisonous snakes, which really should merit a "1", but the hotel is not far from the airport, so I bumped it up a notch.

Nice hotel for the price, easy access from I-95 and to airport. Rooms very nice, beds comfortable.

is old need remodeling, old tv, no refrigerator on the room

Hotel location is most positive attribute about this hotel. The hallway is filthy and old, doorway was covered in dirt and appeared to have been cleaned a month or long ago. Shower/bath water is yellow like the pipes are rusted! Toilet handle was broken, clearly not well maintained and very old.

Front desk personnel is not friendly.

It was a typical Airport Hotel Staff was very friendly rooms not very up to date. I had no high expectations and Hilton is always good the rooms just were due for a renovation in my opininion

I was treated well by the entire staff from the moment I made my reservation. The front desk staff, restaurant and bar staff served the Hilton brand well.I use the Hilton brand often and fine this location a cut above. I look forward to my next stay.

Very nice

I was very disappointed. I thought I was staying at the Hilton, but it turn out I paid for the Hilton, but got the service from Holiday Inn.....Nothing wrong with Holiday Inn, but I thought I was at the Hilton, the best of the best.....Make your next stay at Marriot......Now they are the best of the best.

We were greeted by a demand for huge parking fee, mean lady denying to accept our Hilton honors points, Broken phone in the room, no coffee by the pot and filthy carpets. HOW MEAN you are to charge for WIFI... No free breakfast and triple price for a Starbucks coffee... I can't put the actual prices on this review or they won't post it.

Our room was on the back side of the hotel facing the freeway. The airconditioning unit for the entire hotel was right outside of our room. The noise from the freeway and the airconditioning going "on and off" all night kept us from much needed rest. We needed to leave next morning at 6am for our 8am flight. We were lucky to get 3 hours of sleep. We were very disappointed with our stay. We will most likely not ever stay in another Hilton Hotel. Such a shame, since the Hilton name is suppose to have such a great reputation.

Badly in need of a remodel.....They don't even have flat-screen televisions.

This hotel was a great stop over between flights. The room was spacious and comfortable. The people at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Our flight had been pushed back several hours, and we were allowed a later checkout. The breakfast buffet was outstanding! The only disappointment was the absence of free wifi in rooms or in the business center.

Convenient to airport for travel, however, surprised there wasn't at least continental breakfast.

very old hotel they say it will be tore down next year for airport expansion.so theyre not going to put any money in this hotel.but very convenient to get to airport.

Everything was great except the poor room service. The burger and fries were cold and the burger over-cooked. At the prices being charged plus a 20% "we're so great" fee I expect a burger hot and cooked to order.

Well the overall hotel was ok. The common areas were very clean. Our bathroom was not. There was dirt and something sticky on the floor. The bathroom door wouldn't open the whole way because the toilet was in the way and it made a loud noise everytime you tried to open the door because you would forget that it was going to hit the toilet. I am not sure if all the rooms were like this but ours was. The staff was really great and very accomodating. The resturant was way over priced. A stack of pancake for breakfast was over 18.00 dollars. We decided that were weren't going to eat there. The pool was very nice but the hot tub was broken. Overall it was an ok stay.

Van was late and didn't have enoujgh room for everyone who needed to be picked up, resulting in it taking some guests (my friends) 90 minutes to get from the airport (a 10-minute trip!); When we tried to print out our boarding passes in the business center (as instructed by the desk), it didn't work. So I called the desk for help. They said they'd send someone "right away." Ten minutes later, I called again...they said he's be "right up!" Ten minutes later(now 20 minutes after my original call) WE STILL HAD NO HELP! So I called again and eventually had the desk print them out. My room was located near the elevator shaft, so every time the elevator went up and down, I heard it in my room! A thoroughly HORRIBLE stay!

Convenient for airport with free shuttle service to and from. Tri-rail is in walking distance. Be sure if you use their van service for other locations to get the price up front! I would give the valet service 1-2 stars because feel like they weren't overly honest with us. I gave the hotel overall 3 stars for customer service but that was because the front desk staff was very helpful! Not much around for food and walking is a bit treacherous because along a highway.
