Good quality service. Very pleasant room and liked the ability to store my computer in the drawer safe.

Overall great experience, but no bar fridge. That, in my opinion, should be a requirement. I had leftover food from Baton Rouge and had to leave it behind as it spoiled over night. Not to mention no place to cool your bottle of wine. And on another note: I know not to expect much from hotel-branded shampoos. I always bring my own toiletries but in this instance I forgot. The shampoo and conditioner was horrible, to say the least. But, those in my opinion are minor things. The new renovated lobby, great harbour view restaurant, business centre, location, great accessible parking, closest-hotel to the casino, Starbucks 'on the spot', proximity to my own offices.... Will definitely return.

Everything was great. the only thing I would have changed was a fridge in our room, but we made do with the recycle bin, full of ice!

Hotel staff were very helpful. Considering the hotel is under renovation there was a continuance of service. I do think Hotels.com could have reported that the facility was being rebuilt and offered a discount based on that..

EVERYTHING WAS FANTASTIC, ESPECIALLY THE BUFFET BREAKFAST

Great location. Perfect spot to stay when you want to shop downtown Halifax, take a walk on the harbourfront, go to the casino or just drop into the local pubs. The room was great - clean and tidy. The breakfast buffet was out of this world and the service was great.

We booked 2 rooms room 381 was very good, nice view as well. Our 2 adult sons were in room 230 which is located next to the pool. Very noisey with young children having fun jumping and loud shouting to each other. Not a good room to place young people without children who might want to sleep past 7 am. Also on our departure day drilling was going on very nearby. Probably some construction taking place. The people at front desk and the young men outside helping with arrivals very good

Location was great, staff were very friendly and helpful, rooms were nice and clean. Will definitely stay there again when we go back to Halifax, which I am hoping will be soon to visit my daughter at University. If you have a chance to go for breakfast at 44, do so; Very Nice.

i asked for a pool room and was right on the pool went to halifax to see the tall ships and to take a teenager from calgary to see what atlantic canada has to offer the stay was very enjoyable i personally shouldnt have to pay 28.75 for parking i feel i paid enough to stay in your hotel that this should be covered in the price i always try to stay at a marriott hotel when i travel i know i will be satisified

Pleasant and convenient on busy waterfront. Close to dining and entertainment in Historic district.

It is worth the extra charge for the waterfront room. An excellent breakfast buffet. A short walk to the casino.

Very nice hotel, good service and right on the waterfront so there is a lot of choice for dining, entertainment and just watching the harbour traffic

Great location- better than good hotel.

Overall happy with our overnight stay on our honeymoon.

The hotel was excellent and the staff really went out of their way to make sure your stay was its best.

our 2nd night at your hotel may11 the music was loud until 12. then it was loud on our floor until 330. and we had a early rise at 430. not impressed

need to improve the communications between you and the hotel about the exact describtion of the room.e.g harbour view vs partial harbour view as your representitive assured me for harbour view and the receptionist resisted first then agreed

All staff very friendly from the time we pulled into the driveway at the front of the Hotel. Very helpful and knowledgeable about local area. Close to everything we wanted to do so we could walk or catch a cab right out front. We can not wait to go again and enjoy warmer weather.

The employees at reception and in the restaurant were fabulous - so pleasant and helpful. The only problem was the noise in the hall from 3 till 4 am - which was unfortunate as my daughter had an important interview the next day. Perhaps the hotel could try to put adult clients on a different floor when there is a large student group in residence?

Our oom was nice but small. Absolutely no view besides the other side of the building with furnace / air exchangers in between. The whole evening we heard loud noises like construction above our room. Not a very relaxing evening. Nice pool and hot tub.

We are from halifax and have 2 children and we needed time off and this Hotel was perfect. The bedroom is just wonderfull and so comfortable. The access to the downtown area is so convenient if you are looking to go out and have fun or just go on a nice walk on the boardwalk. Absolutly perfect little vacation away. The hotel is really beautifull and all the staff is helpfull and very respectfull. I loved it. Definatly going back in a couple of months

Excellent hotel, excellent location.

Service was great, breakfast buffet was amazing, think parking should be included in the cost of the room.

We arrived after red eye flight. We checked in. All though the policy is a 3pm check in they did nothing to expedite readying a room for us. They allowed us to sit on their couch for close to two hours and we were trying our best not to fall asleep on the couch. You can hear normal conversations in the hallway from people in their rooms. The pillows that they provided us were very small, about half the size of a normal pillow. We had to resort to using the decorative pillows. The shining point is the cleaning staff. We had two while we were there and they were beyond pleasant and helpful.

While my income is mid-to-upper class, I'm a simple personality. The hotel was truely great, but my personality fits better in the HOJO type. If you like the "bling", great place!

Friendly service with recommendations from front staff as to where to go for fun when you asked them. Room was nice and clean and comfy but no smoking rooms are offered. Was dissapointed in price of internet ($20 for the night) when you just want to check a proline ticket. Great location so the walk back after drinking is all down hill.

Shame on Marriott for nickle and diming customers with a $15.95 per night WiFi charge!

Man wohnt außerordentlich gut in diesem Hotel. Es hat jeden Komfort, der das Hotelleben angenehm macht. Man ist mitten in der Stadt und kann alle Sehenswürdigkeiten leicht zu Fuß erreichen. Zimmer und Bad waren gepflegt, sauber und alle Einrichtungen funktionierten einwandfrei. Frühstück ist perfekt, für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Das Restaurant wirkte etwas verlassen, bei 5 Gästen in einem riesigen Raum. Essen war durchschnittlich und gab keinen Anlass zur Beschwerde, aber wer ein paar hundert Meter geht und in der Nachbarschaft sucht, kann etwas Besseres finden.
