Sheraton Gateway Hotel Los Angeles Airport - לוס אנג'לס

שהינו ב- Gateway Sheraton במהלך זמן ההמתנה הארוך שבין טיסה ארוכה מניו זילנד ובין טיסת ההמשך שלנו הביתה. המיקום היה נוח מאוד. שירות ההסעות הגיע במהירות, גם משדה התעופה וגם אליו בבוקר שלמחרת (עם נהג נחמד להפליא), צוות הקבלה היה חברותי מאוד, החדר נוח ונקי. שחינו בבריכה (גם כן נקי ונעים), וארוחת הערב בלובי המלון- אוכל טוב מאוד. אני ממליץ בחום על המלון, ואשהה כאן שוב כשנעבור בלוס אנג'לס.

צוות נחמד. מלון מאוד יעיל עם צוות מועיל ומנומס. כולו נחמד ונקי.

התרשמתי מאוד מהשירות שסיפקו לנו בשרתון במהלך ביקורנו בלוס אנג'לס. החדר היה מושלם, נקי, מעולה. אפשר היה לחשוב שבמלון מתייחסים שונה למי שמזמין דרך Hotels.com, אבל להפך. היינו מרוצים ביותר ונחזור לשרתון LAX ונזמין דרך Hotels.com.

אי הידיעה שאין להם שירותי הסעות משלהם למלון, ושעכשיו הם מפעילים שירות של EasyPark או משהו כזה הייתה מתסכלת מאוד. הגעתי ב-1:00, עייף מאוד ועם זמן מוגבל לשינה לפני טיסה מוקדמת בבוקר. הם לא פעלו כל 15 דקות כשכבר הבנתי היכן שירות ההסעות. כשהגעתי למלון הכל השתנה... מקום מדהים! שדרגו לי את החדר מבלי שהזכרתי את התסכול משירות ההסעות. צ'ק אין וצ'ק אאוט פשוטים ביותר. מקום נהדר!!

לא היה אינטרנט אלחוטי... לפחות לא שווה 13 דולרים ביום. הייתה לי עבודה ולכן קניתי אינטרנט אלחוטי וציפיתי ממנו לעבוד... לא יכולתי לעבוד. הייתי חייב למצוא נקודת אינטרנט אלחוטי אחרת.

היתה לי טיסה ארוכה וטיסת המשך למחרת מ-LAX. המלון סיפק לי את המנוחה שהייתי זקוק לה. העניין היחיד היה החדר הישן והעובדה ששמעתי רעשי צנרת לאורך כל הערב.

לטעמי זה מלון נוח מאוד אם אתם רוצים לישון קרוב לשדה התעופה. שירות ההסעה אל שדה התעופה וממנו היה מועיל ביותר. החדר היה גדול, נקי ונעים. ארוחת בוקר חינם הייתה הופכת את שהותי במלון למושלמת. אם אתם צריכים/רוצים לשהות לילה ליד שדה התעופה LAX, אני ממליץ על המלון הזה.

המלון והחדר היו נחמדים ומתוחזקים כהלכה. שתי המיטות הזוגיות שימשו את משפחתנו כראוי והיו נוחות מאוד. יחד עם זאת, החדר היה קטן מהצפוי וכיור הרחצה, השירותים והאמבטיה שהיו כולם בחדר אחד האטו את תהליך ההתארגנות בבוקר. האוכל ב-Paparazzi Ristorante שבמלון היה מעולה. לא הייתה חניה במלון אלא חניון פתוח במרחק הליכה קצרה מהמלון.

נהדר בשביל שהייה של לילה בין טיסות, אבל המלון בהחלט מתחיל להרגיש קצת עייף.

לקח לי יותר משעה להירשם למרות שהייתי Starwood SPG Gold member, אנשים בלי חברות עקפו בתור. ואז קיבלנו חדר שהסריח מעשן ליד מכונת קרח מאוד רועשת. אחרי שהתלוננו אמרו לנו שזה החדר היחיד ואיך הוא יכול להסריח מעשן אם הוא חדר ללא עישון. ביקשתי לראות את המנהל והזכרתי שאני חבר Starwood ופתאום מצאו חדר חדש. המנהל עלה והסכים שעישנו בחדר אבל הוא נראה יותר עסוק במחשבה האם הוא יכול לתבוע אותם. הזמנתי שירות חדרים, המשלוח לא הגיע אחרי 45 דקות אז טילפנתי לבדוק. אמרו לי שהם שכחו מההזמנה אבל היא תגיע עוד 15 דקות וב-50 אחוז הנחה. הארוחה הגיעה 15 דקות לאחר מכן קרה עם מנה חסרה וחשבון מלא. כשבדקתי עם השוער הוא אמר לי שהם כנראה עסוקים ופשוט לחכות. אני מבין שזה מלון ליד שדה התעופה אבל זה מלון Starwood הכי גרוע ששהיתי בו.

Loved the room slept like a dream. Not to excited about valet parking but was ok.

It's an aging building but well maintained. Personnel were very cordial and helpful, room clean and comfortable. The bed was really good and the location very convenient.

Very happy with this hotel. We liked our room decor which is important to us. Great bed and pillows...loved the sheets which is very important. Nice breakfast buffet got our day started right. Loved that the dining room looked out to the pool with large glass doors. Could have eaten outside, but not warm enough. Pool area is very pleasing ... much better than photos ... nicely decorated. Workout room is great with nice pool views. Walked to Budget to pick up car. Hotel van took us from airport to hotel in mere minutes!

Hotel is nice but the parking situation wasn't all that great. Valet is offered right as you drive up for $33. Your only other option is to park a way behind the hotel in a huge parking lot. Sheraton offers a day pass for $17, otherwise you have to keep paying as you go in and out. It was kind of an inconvenience cause we came back late from a Dodger Game and had to park in a dark parking lot and didn't look like there was any security around. About a 5 minute walk back to the hotel depending on where you find a parking in the lot.

Lobby staff was great- driver for the car service was great but the staff at the roof top bar was rude

This hotel is 10 min walk from the terminal, the shuttle comes every 10-15 min maximum, the parking is expensive but you can park your car for 13usd per day behind the hotel.Staff is nice, my only concern is about the noise coming from the cleaners, they use walky talky, they speak from one room to another room and make a lot of noise...the room is nice and big, there is no fridge...

great place for a layover in LA, good food at the restaurant, and the room was very comfortable.

The hotel area was filled with empty alcohol bottles and dirty towels at 9 AM left from the night before I assume. There were no clean towels available. The hot tub had been drained and refilled around the time we arrived to the pool at 9 AM making it inoperable. I was charged for a meal that I never had, and am still waiting for the charges to be reversed. Good location and pretty hotel, but bad service.

Needed a place to stay night before son's graduation from a nearby college. No bathroom supplies like shampoo or conditioner. Waste basket hadn't been emptied. Shower didn't drain. Internet was terrible.

great hotel and everyone so helpful...but maybe time to change matress? Both Queens beds had the middle gulley, making it hard to put two people in a bed... not a good night's sleep!

I can't believe a double rum and coke was $21.80. I left the hotel had two double rum and dinner for $46.00 a few blocks away.

The good location is to access LAX

Excellent hotel to stay at before or after a flight. Extremely comfortable and quiet, I would definitely stay there again.

Be known to add $33 more for valet parking! And the breakfast that included in the booking is on Clubhouse floor above (prob. 15th floor.) We went for the breakfast at the lobby level and it is $35 per person. I complaind as I asked where our breakfast would be and they pointed to the lobby level restaurant. So..they discounted $40 for 3 persons in our group. The hotel is nice as expected, but I will choose other hotel next time because there are so many hidden cost on this Sheraton!

Clean rooms but bad location if you are in LA on vacation.. For business purposes it is a great place to stay

Very convenient, great staff, quick shuttle to the airport

If you are needing to stay near LAX airport, this hotel has all the amenities you will need. Friendly staff and literally next to the airport. Their shuttle service will drop you right off at your gate.

Very comfortable. The only con I can think of is that I can hear noise from the hallway pretty easily.

I was quoted 129 for room and i received bill and was charged 180

Definitely a great place to stay & very close to the airport. Even has a Starbucks in the hotel-a major plus for my husband.

This hotel is for convenience to the airport, only. You feel nickel and dimed at every turn. Neither restaurant was open and while the food at the bar was tasty, it, and the beverages were ridiculously priced. Add the fact that there are no refrigerators in the rooms and the ice buckets are not even large enough to cool more than one bottle of beer at a time (obviously they want you to buy their overpriced bottled water or spend your money at their bar) and my experience has soured me toward all Sheraton properties.

This hotel is OK. It is in good location. The room was dark (needs more lights for my taste). Overall value was OK. I wish I had been informed about the parking situation. You can pay a considerable amount for parking; either in the back of the hotel or pay an even higher cost for valet parking.

Locked out of room three nights in a row, toilet over-flowed one night.... Every night of my stay there was an incident. Safe to say I will never stay there again.
