It was an easy stay off the highway close to my college for the reunion. I paid a little extra to get a suite for my girlfriend and myself. It was not what I would call a suite. It actually felt smaller than most of the regular rooms that I have stayed in at this hotel in the past. The bed was not great. Paying for the suite came with a free breakfast, which was very poor. Also at 245pm on a Saturday they had trouble finding me a clean room which I found very surprising.

Overall we were satisfied with the room. The bed was very comfortable and the room was cleaned. I think that paying $10.00 a night for parking is a little much. The breakfast could also have been included with the price of the room.

Clean, good service. Being remodeled. Parking was a bit strange. Entrance was a bit complicated to find. Located adjacent to office complex - not great.

I hoped Sheraton would fix 2nd elevator with renovation but still only one elevator working (for a busy hotel..!)

I had a very comfortable stay. I don't like having to pay for parking and would stay somewhere else next time. We have family in Chestnut Hill and visit 4 - 6 times a year. I will try to find a hotel that does not charge for parking. The parking lot is also farther away than most places where you park for FREE.Overall, the front desk, bar, and restaurant staff were great!

The recent upgrades at the hotel have transformed the hotel into a very strong 4 star hotel. Staff were very helpful. King suite room very comfortable and spacious. Very convenient for Needham area; a bit farther away from downtown Boston.

Excellent bed and well maintained room.Food and service at workshop I attended was excellent. Food in restaurant in reception area was very average.

Customer service not a priority. When I checked in they did not have the correct room reserved for me. I had to show my Hotels.com reservation confirmation to get the correct room. The service in the bar and restaurant was extremely slow or non existent. I had to track down housekeeping in my pajamas our second morning to get more shampoo. It had not been replaced. Also, my reservation was for 2 adults and 2 children, yet we only got 3 bath towels each day. The hotel itself recently went through a renovation and the rooms were very nice and contemporary. The beds were extremely comfortable. My family was in town for a family event and so the location was perfect for our needs. Easy to find from the highway. My kids loved the pool!

The hotel was very clean and well managed. We enjoyed our stay very much.

My 75th birthday was a big milestone for me. The Sheraton Needham made it extra special..even the employees wished me a happy birthday! Ya gotta love it!

We stayed here on the recommendation of family that live in the area. The room was clean but housekeeping kept knocking on our door at un-natural times. Earliest one was at 8:30 in the morning! One eventually walked in on us still trying to sleep in bed. The persistence to clean our non-vacant room was quite frustrating with the cost of lost sleep.

after football game took shuttle back (which was way to long and bus fumes intoixicating) wanted to have something to eat and drink . We did not eat anything at game , only to find out everything is closed at 12 midnight.

I was pleased with my stay. My room was clean, lovely, and the fitness center was adequate --- more than suited my needs. If there is one suggestion, that is to be more helpful about airport transportation. The fare from the airport to the hotel was well over the estimate given, and I discovered that it wasn't the hotel's fault, but rather, that particular taxi-driver. It wasn't until I got there that I learned that there is some local wisdom about which taxis to take. Also, I discovered only after staying there that the hotel can provide a driver at a set cost. I wish I would have known this earlier. It would have helped me better navigate my stay, expenses.

A nice hotel, a little isolated but not too bad. Nice area. Staff was a little less than stellar, but adequate if your patient.

Hotel is located just off the highway in an industrial park. Room and hotel was comfortable and well appointed. The staff friendly and helpful. The desk was unable to locate my reservation, resolved by showing it to them on my ipad. Charging for Wifi in a business hotel is unreasonable. Good buffet breakfast but expensive.

The room was nice - service was fantastic - very few restaurants close by - transportation options were minimal. We came up for a football game and found the transportation option for this was great. Transportation to and from Boston was terrible. You either had to splurge for taxis or use the T system. The T system was fine except that the closest station is about a mile and a half from the hotel, and there was no shuttle service. Next time we will stay in Boston.

I came to needham to look for a place to live so I figure I'd stay here for 3 nights while searching. The hotel itself is really old. They are doing renovations but I'm not sure it can help much. We think the hotel used to be some sort of hospital before, just by the way it's structured. It's also over flow housing for a nearby college. Everyday there's college students standing out front waiting for a bus. The place is just run down and not worth the money. Don't stay if you're looking for a nice comfy hotel. Definetly shouldn't have the Sheraton name.

We chose to stay at this hotel even after reading other reviews complaining about the additional parking charges and the construction/remodeling work going on at the hotel. Leaving these two issues aside, everything was great: comfortable, remodeled room; great service at the front desk, bar, and room service; good location close to a highway exit, as well as relatively close to Boston College. There is nothing interesting to do in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, but if you are looking for a good launching point for your daily visits to colleges and other places in the area, the Sheraton Needham hotel is a great choice.

Remodeling of front lobby a bit distracting, but new decor is very nice. The room was lovely, clean and beds very comfortable.

This is an excellent hotal and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definately stay there again. I really enjoyed the pool and the lounge/restaurant. - Steve S.

Excellent. Very convenient.

After a long day in Boston we were awakened at 7:00 am by a construction crew outside our window. It would have been nice if the desk mentioned this during check in or placed us on the opposite side of the hotel. When we mentioned this during checkout the response we got was; "oh well, that's not our fault". My daughter will be attending Lasell College and the location of the Sheraton is a perfect location, however I wil never stay there again.

The staff was friendly and the stay was very pleasant.

Convenient to 1-95-128 corridor and my family in Needham

The Sheraton Needham is a nice hotel just outside of Boston. It is an excellent value and the staff was wonderful. The entrance and lobby need a little TLC and the elevators may need a bit more care than that. But the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. I would have no problem staying here again.

I stayed for one night. The room was neat and clean.

This was a suburban hotel yet they charged for parking. This was not mentioned on their web site. The lot was not a secure lot yet they charged $10.

Hotel was nice-rooms were clean. Coffee & fresh drinking water was provided daily in the rooms. Room service was very efficient & prompt. Most of the staff was very helpful, kind, and provided a wealth of information. The pool area was a bit too cold. Didn't like having to pay for internet service or parking. The hotel was close to many nice restaurants.

Everything was fine, except the door was very heavy and difficult to open from the inside. Would be a problem in emergency, or for older people.

Hotel was clean but the floors are thin and you can hear the toilet flush loudly and people above your room very clear. More sound insulation is needed.

Hotel is great, Sheraton quality. Location is outside the center of Boston by 7-10 miles. Nevertheless, all you are getting is the room. Amentities: The internet is extra and their is no breakfast included; both are pricey. The only thing free is the coffee and water. If you are coming to Boston to sightsee or travel, pay the little extra to stay in the city at a hotel with free wi-fi and breakfast. It will also cut down on the cost of transporation into the city.

What a terrible hotel! The staff was nice and friendly enough, but the place is an old run down, dark and dank hotel. It's situated in a business park with giant TV towers looming over head and construction and tractor trailers all over the place! Our room had a funny smell, an air conditioner that moaned and whined and sounded like it was about to die all night long. The rooms and hallways were dark and dank too. It was like being in a dungeon. Parking is a pain in the neck too, down a hil away from the hotel. Just an ugly hotel in every way.

Stayed at the hotel for a conference. Never again. You would think that the bar and restaurant would stay open given that there were 200 people at the hotel from Sunday to Thursday. No luck. Even when they were open you couldn't get service. It seems the staff is more interested in their mobile devices than sevice the customers.

Pros - Good price. Nice big room. With a baby in a Pack-n-Play, it was great. Cons - Charging for parking is outrageous. Also the shower didn't drain. Had to hold the drainer up to get the water to go down before my wife showered. We considered complaining to hotel management, but didn't feel like getting all heated when we were supposed to be enjoying a family visit. We intend on finding a different hotel for the next visit.

While the hotel was impeccably decorated, the staff was not very welcoming or friendly. They were efficient but not friendly. The room was lovely but extremely humid. So much so that the bedding felt damp. The pillows were, at first glance, very luxurious, but so fluffy that I felt a bit suffocated when I laid my head down. In addition, this hotel is in the suburbs of Boston, not downtown Boston. Therefore, I was extremely surprised to find that I would be charged a nightly parking fee. I have only ever had to pay for parking in very urban areas. Also, the restaurant did not offer any sort of complimentary breakfast. Finally, of all of the hotels that we stayed at during this trip, this particular hotel was the only one that charged for wireless service. Even less expensive places offered us free wi-fi. This place looks nice, but is really cheap, but not inexpensive. Disappointed, to say the least.
