even though there was construction on premises the room was good. bus stops help alot for this big resort. when traveling to disneyworld, riding the shuttles were great!

We stayed at the Caribbean for 9 nights with our 4 and 7yrs old. The hotel is very well located to reach any of the Disneyworld attractions, and thankfulky apart from the disney shop in the main eating area has no disney features whatsoever. We welcomed this as a very pleasant change of scenery. The rooms are well proportioned (you dont spend anytime in the hotelroom apart from sleeping anyway!), the pool areas (yes several of them!) and playground are great. We actually went on a bass fishing trip on our last day, and it was the best activity of the whole week! Both children cought plenty of fish, our captain was amazingly friendly, patient and knowledgeable. We had the best time of our lives! The rooms could be cleaned a bit more thoroughly, there is plenty of sand that gets in from the beach. We liked the foodcourt and also the hotel restaurant. I went jogging along the waterfront every morning, which was a nice luxury to have. Bus travel to attractions wihout any problem, although coming back from downtown disney at night can take long due to wait time for the bus. Overall great value for money, I wouldn't stay anywhere else when in Disneyworld

We stayed in one of the water view pirate rooms. It was very nice. I think next time I would just get a regular room. The pirate rooms are very far from the food court and the pool. We enjoyed our stay and have no complaints.

Excellent property. The teenagers I had with me really enjoyed the hotel and all it had to offer.

We had a great time at this resort. Will go again.

The exterior grounds were attractive. The room was sub par, cramped and did not have adequate furniture. There was not enough dresser space for more than one or two guests. There wasn't a microwave and the refridgerator was old and broken. We requested a rollaway bed and the bed they sent was ripped and torn and sagging. When we requested a replacement rollaway the second one was also ripped and torn and was tied closed with a plastic garbage bag.

This is the first time I used hotels.com and was very satisfied with the value of the room and resort. We were taken care of as if we were the only ones there. I would definitely recommend this and will book again for my next trip! Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

Kids had a blast at the pools. Rooms were ok but you don't spend much time in the room. Beds were small. Food was fair. Tip: if kids are not big eaters they can split $8 chicken tenders. Was a nice size portion. Grounds were well maintained. Internet wifi worked well. Mini fridge worked well but no freezer. Shuttle service was great.

Reluctant after reading some reviews, but really enjoyed our stay. Some people may expect more from the facilities with "Resort" being in the name. This is not an all inclusive, pampering destination. Rooms were simple and clean, but large for the Disney moderate price range. Housekeeping arranged the kids stuffed animals differently every day. Dining facilities were perfect for a vacation with young children, and stayed open late. Walks to dining facilities were fairly long from our building, but easy going and relaxing after the park bustle (book closer rooms if walking is an issue). Never waited long on a bus, not more than 15-20 minutes max. Very close to Epcot and Hollywood, longer drive to Magic and Animal Kingdoms. Several activities for the kids at night, pool side, and on the beach (from roasting marsh mellows, outdoor movies to hula hoops). Spectacular pool and hottubs with handicap lifts, 0 slope entry, water slides and a kiddie splash pool. Staff was helpful, cheerful and accommodating. Be aware, if you want the Disney meal plan you must sign up several days prior to checking in.

We love this hotel! Stayed here multiple times. For a great rate from hotels.com! Great service!

This hotel feels like a fancy Days Inn. There are no elevators, the satellite TV reception is iffy, and the rooms are average. Spend the extra money and stay in one of the Disney Deluxe properties instead.

Disney properties are always top notch. Our room was a little small but for only 2 nights it was OK.

property was to spread out and too far to go to different areas of property.... especially the dining area even though they did provide a bus on property but who wants to take a bus just to go get something to eat

This is the second time we have stayed at the Caribbean Beach resort. It did not disappoint, as the convenience from included transportation and nearby food was very relaxing. I only wish the rooms had micowaves, otherwise everything you need for a relaxing family vacation.

The staff went out of their way to help--can't commend them enough, and Disney is certainly one of the most disability-friendly places on earth. That being said, I don't anticipate ever staying at a Disney resort again. Extremely overpriced for the quality of the accomodations and amenities offered. Hate to think that if this was a "moderate" resort, what could the budget resorts possibly be like. With only one sit-down restaurant (and it only served dinner) and a food court; there was no breakfast room service, so if you wanted something to eat before setting out, you had to make a long hike to the food court for even a cup of coffee and a pastry.

Loved the bus service and the food court was fabulous. Rooms are well used but clean and comfortable. We would definitely go back. As my 5 year old said "we had the most funnest time ever".

We got the pirate theme room. It was OK, some cute finishings but it did not WOW us.

I have been going to Disney for 30 since however I never stayed at a Disney resort. We got a pretty good deal so I thought why not? The grounds were impecable and the staff was always friendly and greeted you w a smile as one would expect w Disney. The room wasn't anything special but super clean. The lakes and beaches were a delight and so peaceful. It was so inviting that we skipped going to the parks one day and hung out on the beach, rented a boat, and took in the atmosphere. Highly recommend staying here.

The hotel check-in staff was very nice. Once we saw the room, my husband and I both thought we could have stayed at one of the other cheaper Disney hotels and had a similar stay because the room was nothing fancy at all. The room was clean and the king sized bed was comfortable. It was very nice to have the shuttle to and from the parks.

The resort was great for families especially with young children. A lot to do without going to theme parks. The only negative I have is rooms are too small and ill appointed for families especially with young children but they are the same in all the moderate resorts on Disney properties.

My husband and I had a great stay at Disney's Caribbean beach resort. I was there to run the marathon in January and wanted to stay close by. You can tell the resort is dated, but they've done a great job of renovating it. We had a Finding Nemo-themed room. The only complaint I have is the food court... I had a pasta dinner the night before the race, but I couldn't finish it. It was a pre-made "baked" ziti dinner. There was no flavor and it was very dry. We did it for convenience, but I think I would have rather waited for a table at a local restaurant instead. But besides the food, the bar, the room, and the staff were great! We plan on coming back for our anniversary.

Love staying at a Disney Resort! The extra time in the park, as a resort guest is the best. We usually stay at the Beach Club, near Epcot, and love it there. Check in was wonderful. My daughters and I were given wands! As a mother daughter trip, I felt very safe and relaxed. The food court was very good, with lots of variety. The only negative is that our room had a strong odor, like carpet cleaner, not sure. You get used to it, but it was a bit off-putting at first. But, would consider staying there again. Had a great trip!

Relaxing in a comfort and Disney Resort is always nice.

Stayed one night while leaving our daughter for the Disney college progarm. Top notch staff, rooms and ammenities. Special cudos to hotels.com. We were originally booked to stay at Pop Century Resort, but Disney had no room for us. Hotels.com quickly found us a room, an upgrade to a moderate resort none the less, and they charged us nothing more for the upgrade. Even sent me a discount code for $100 off on our next booked room on hotels.com. Very impressed with both Disney and hotels.com.

I was hoping I would be able to walk to the Dolphin Hotel from the Caribbean Beach Resort Hotel, but It would have been quite a long hike each day. The room and setting are quite pleasant. I wish my stay wasn't all business for me and that I could have enjoyed the amenities while I was there.

The Magical Express got us from the airport to the Customs House in about 30 minutes, after a 15-minute wait. The check-in process took about 15 minutes (after I'd already done the online check-in.) Depending on where your room is, you probably won't be able to walk there with your luggage from the Customs House, so you'll have to wait up to 25 minutes for the Internal bus to pick you up and give you a lift. The ride should only take about 5 minutes, though. Once settled in your room, you'll have to hop on another bus (up to 25 minute wait) to get to the parks (10-25 minute ride, depending on where you're headed.)When checking out, you'll have to head back to the Customs House to catch the Magical Express. This can be a challenge since you're not allowed to bring your luggage back onto the Internal bus. So you'll either have to walk to the Customs House or you'll have to make arrangements with bell services for a ride over there. Transportation aside, the rooms were fine. No king beds, though. The bathroom situation is a little weird (the sinks are out in the bedroom area rather than in the bathroom.) The pools and beaches are lovely. The food at the food court is decent. The drinks at the Banana Cabana are not terribly overpriced. The walk from the rooms to the main resort area is pleasant. I'd stay there again.

Upgraded our room due to a birthday celebration - nice, but afraid to see what our original room might have been since this was the upgrade. Room very musty smelling. Housekeeping was excellent. But the room was definitely well used and showing signs of such. For a disney moderate resort, may have been just as well off at a value resort.

Caribbean Beach is not the most luxurious hotel.I know what to expect and get what I need with a laid back Disney feel.If you are looking for a lot for what you are paying, this is probably going to disappoint. I am always satisfied.

We stayed there years ago. The rooms are looking a little run down or older now, but not too bad. A great location and the grounds are beautiful. Love to stay on Disney properties!
