First the price raised in the 20 minutes from booking the room to getting there to check in. The "upgraded room" we were in was small but nice. The shower only had a diameter of about an inch. I put 30.00 cash down for incidentals which they seem to have forgotten about as that money was ALSO deducted from my card. All in all This was not a good room for the money.

Parking and internet should be included in the hotel fee. It is preposterous to not include any parking except for a $30 Valet parking per night. It is 2013 and wireless internet should be a given for any hotel stay in America.

Amazing location, great staff and nice room. I just wish my room had a fridge. Great places to eat around the hotel, but don't bring any back.

We had a great time, close to everything, will go back

We booked the hotel last minute, but good a good deal on the rate. It is only about a block and a half from the 16th St mall, and walking distance from pretty much anything you want to do in Downtown Denver. Hotel was nice, room was comfortable, staff was very helpful and professional. Will cost you $30 to valet, but nearest parking garage a couple of blocks away will cost you $10-20+ anyway, so its worth it. Breakfast in the restaurant was fantastic, and there is a Starbucks on sight.

The stay at the hotel was good, upon our arrival the guest services was very pleasant. The room was clean but very small especially the bathroom, it was a little uncomfortable but for only one night it was ok. The only downfall is that they dont have comlimentary valet parking which is standerd in the most of the hotels in that category. they have an upcharge for the valet parking of 30 dollars, this is "ridiculous", considering that one block away you can park at a open lot for 10 dollars. But over all it was an OK stay for one night.

Key reason to staying here and they took out the hot tub, steamer, and sauna to add more tredmils. Wasn't aware if the change, will stay somewhere else.

Everything was great except the size of the bathroom. Since I wasn't spending much time in there who cares.

We truely felt like guests not just occupants. The psuedo concierge was super friendly and helpful. The room was very clean. Comfy bed. We came up to watch the Bronco game, and the shuttle they offered was super convenient, and came frequentl so there was very little wait time. The only three things I would complain about are the ancient tv, overpriced vallet, and horrible pizza from room serivce. It was way worth it for the add on breakfast. Good value overall.

always a good place to stay, near many restaurants, the beds are nice and soft

I have worked in hotels in the past and was very sympathetic for the guest services agent who checked us in. There was an issue going on in the hotel that had emergency crews there, the phones were ringing off the hook and we were checking in late. It definitely wasn't a pleasant check-in experience, but I am entirely sympathetic to the situation. Once we got to our room there was not a problem whatsoever, comfortable and clean!

We were very disappointed in the fact that they charge a hefty fee for wireless internet. Less expensive hotels do not charge for this amenity and when I brought it to their attention, they couldn't explain why they do it.

Just a block and a half from the 16th Street mall. Close enough to walk to it but far enough from it that you don't hear it at night. Hotel room was clean and up to date and the hotel staff was friendly and very accommodating.

Very good hotel. Close to The Mall on 16th St. Easy access to the I25 Freeway. Very good restaurant. Our only complaint was that we had to pay for WiFi in our hotel room. In a hotel of this quality, that is unsatisfactory. We found out on check-out that it was free in the lobby, but it should be free throughout the hotel. Otherwise we had a great stay in Denver.

The rooms and amenities lived up to Marriott's big name. The location is perfect, being right in the center if downtown. My only gripe revolves around the $30/night parking charge. The breakfast was most amazing and staff was very helpful.

The people at the Marriott were very helpful, professional and friendly -- really made the trip for me.

Relaxing. We were hosting a big event and decided to enjoy our late evening by staying downtown Denver. It was a mini vacation for us in a King Suite.

Excellent service, beautiful hotel, very comfortable beds. Only downside was the parking. If you want to self-park, you have to drive around the block to use a parking garage. Was a long walk to carry luggage and the parking garage did not have an elevator. Zombie crawl was happening on 16th street mall, was not a great time to visit for a family.

The location of the hotel couldn't have been better. Everyone was helpful, kind and courteous. I would absolutely stay at the Marriott again.

Our room was very nice and the service was great! Loved how close we were to the 16th street mall. The valet service men were fantastic. Overall great experience, we will definitely stay here again!

The check in attendant was wonderful, the room was clean, and the room service was great. My brand new car came back from Valet with a huge ding in the door so that's a bit disheartening.

We only stayed for 1 nite but the exercise room & pool looked inviting. Loved the fact that there was a Starbucks in the lobby

Room was old, toilet didnt flush well, air conditioner made noises all night turning on and off, iron was spastic. But there is a starbucks in the the hotel and it is close to 16th st mall. Would not stay again. I expected a bit more.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and comfortable. The trip was fantastic!

Half the staff was wonderful while a few were quite rude and unhelpful. The room was small as was the bathroom. But it was clean and the beds were pretty comfortable. The pool area could use a bit of maintenance and updating. I expected it to be nicer. They nickel and dime you at every turn, Im surprised they had filtered water for free in the lobby, but i guess that is a Marriott for you...

Not much of a view from the 3rd floor, but other than that, it was a great stay. Walking distance to the theaters, rental bikes just outside the reception area, a wonderful breakfast buffet, great pool and fitness center; staff were attentive and the property seemed to have thought of many little "extras".

Expensive for Denver , but had all the amenities that we wanted: safe, clean, quite, close to restaurants and shops, live music and short easy drive to airport,

Excellent location, good rate, helpful staff, only slightly negative comment is that the bar/lounge was the only alternative for dinner to dining outside the hotel. The service was excellent but the food choices were minimal. The regular restaurant was not open during my stay. However, Rocky, my server and "host" in the lounge was friendly and helpful.

Lovely staff. We had a small problem with the air-conditioning in the first room they gave us. Maintenance was up in 5 minutes, and they changed our room immediately. Hotel is beautiful, amenities are terrific. Lounge and food were great, and the area was also very nice. Best thing...staff service!

For some reason, the front desk rep mentioned that I was in 1601, the room which worked with my key; however, another coupled entered my room (1601) and stated they were assigned to the room. It appears that I was actually assigned to 1631. Not too much of a problem, but could have been much worse.

I would recommend that if you have more then two people in your room to ask for more towels. In a room with two double beds there was only 2 large towels. The check in area was very busy and hectic so not sure if it is always like that or just during the summer.

I liked my stay, the room and surroundings were clean. I did not like the parking situation though, thanks to cheap overnight parking at CenturyLink tower next door.

Room was clean and spacious. Everyone working there was polite and helpful. Excellent pool and work out room. Located just one block north of 16th Street Mall, right in the heart of downtown. There was no parking lot, instead you used their valet service, bit of a surcharge. Room service was excellent. Great experience.
