Hilton Houston - Post Oak - יוסטון

The staff was all very nice, and the restaurant had a good selection of good food. Only negatives - Our room was next to the stairway, so we could hear the stairway door slamming shut starting about 6:30 every morning. Also, it looks like the hotel lobby was completely remodeled, but they must have run out of money before remodeling the rooms. The bathroom, especially, could use a major upgrade. Overall, the hotel is very nice and we would stay there again.

Hotel was certainly in a great location and was clean - however it needs an update to decor and facilities - which it seems is about to start. At least they know what they need to improve.

Hilton should be ashamed to label this hotel under its brand. The staff are very friendly and the gym is nice but the entire facility needs to be steam cleaned. The halls are covered in cob webs and dust bunnies. The wall paper in my room was caked (yes, caked) in a layer of dust that's probably 10 years old. The restaurant is a terrible choice for breakfast. You never expect anything spectacular but even the basics are terrible. The wait staff is slow and quick to punish you for ordering off of the menu (25 min to scoop some oatmeal?). Overall very disappointing.

Hilton Post Oak is in need of an update. There was a large poster board in the lobby with some of the materials for a freshening of the lobby. That said, the room was clean and comfortable but not quiet. There were a series of events going on and other guests were pretty loud. I used my hotels.com rewards points to pay for my stay and I got an oddly shaped room on a low floor. I should be guaranteed a room with all the specifications i set when i book with hotels.com. Maybe the rewards program isn't all that after all. In room wifi was $10.95 a day but free in the lobby. Who's still charging for wifi? Ok, who's still charging more than $5 a day for wifi? Great location! Just treat people right.

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay very much although room service was a bit high the food was great. The taste, quality and quanity was outstanding. The hotel staff was very welcoming and friendly, if you needed any toiltres and stuff it was free of charge. If and when we plan on staying in Houston, Tx again we plan on staying at the Hilton Houston.

My only gripe is that there was an additional charge for parking and internet, otherwise great hotel.

When we pulled up half the sign from the building was broken off exposing the wood underneath, lobby had a lot of stains...not a good 1st impression. Bed felt very worn out,not very much space on balcony. It just wasn't as luxurious as i thought it would be for a Hilton. Staff was very friendly, great location to the galleria,a bit over priced for what you end up getting. Probably wouldn't stay again.

As soon as I pulled to the entrance I thought I was going to be in a great room. I walked into my room and was pleased with the view from the balcony. Then I looked around the room and wasn't all that impressed. The bed wasn't all that comfortable and had this squeaky frame. The shower head would not stay in place and had little water pressure. The lighting wasn't so good either. This hotel just needs a bit of an upgrade to the rooms so the customers will feel they got what they paid for. I will say their staff was really nice and the breakfast was really good...

Good location, near to restaurants and shops. Free short distance shuttle is handy. Breakfast buffet selection is not great.

The room was fine, if ordinary, and the bed was quite comfortable, with good pillows. Everything was clean. But we think an expensive stay should include free wi-fi in the room (as the much less expensive chains seem to be able to provide now in the 21st century) and a shower that has sufficient water pressure. And the sense that the hotel is trying to charge extra for every amenity is annoying.

They need more light in room

My son flew me in for my birthday and book me at the Hilton. I must say he has great taste in style and class! The Hilton was an excellent choice and a great value!

The hotel has been very extensively rennovated and is quite nice. The decor is top notch. The staff is friendly. The pool area is very relaxing, but the weather did not let us take advantage of it. The fitness center is a bit cramped but very well equiped. The inexplicable part was the shower. The sink and toilet had been rennovated, but not the shower. It doesn't make any sense to me to have a brand new granite vanity counter top next to 25-year-old ceramic shower tiles.

It was a perfect location for our family with our daughter in the Houston Marathon. We especially appreciated the excellent care and service of the staff in the hotel restaurant/grill.

Wonderful staff and property. A wee bit on the pricey side but I knew it wasn't a flop-house when I made the reservations. Location is close to expressway, so travel throughout the city was a breeze. The only possible issues were no free wi-Fi and the parking fee (either self or valet).

Always a favorite location when visiting Houston. The valets are so polite! The location is great for shopping. Only problem: no housekeeping until about 5 in the afternoon.

Wonderful stay, great staff, I will be back.

the visit was among the most enjoyable trips I have ever taken. the service and the spirit of the staff was impeccable. all around the staff of the hotel the most competent, friendly and responsive that I have ever encountered. the Fios was exceptoonL on quality, presentation and portions. I would recommend this hotel to anyone for business or pleasure. we established a nee Thanksgiving tradition this year of which this hotel will ways be an integral part.

The hotel was fine , a litle pricey, but would probably recommend it.

I needed to spend one additional night in the Houston area and chose this hotel as it was near to the Galleria. I was able to walk 2 blocks to the Galleria, which was quite nice. Not as nice was the $15/day parking fee, which was either not mentioned in the hotel review or I missed it. Traffic in this area of town is quite awful and I really did not want to drive once I checked in and paid my parking fee both because of the traffic and the parking fee at the hotel. Hotel itself was very nice.

The hotel was clean well maintained, beautiful. Within walking distance of great restaurants and shopping.. Easy to get to and parking was not difficult. RooM service was friendly , efficient and food was awesome. I stay there every time I am in Houston.

Overall very positive, close to my business conference and the free local shuttle brought us back every evening from the conference location. The room service was fast, employees helpful and friendly, I requested a mini refrigerator and it was delivered promptly,

Nice clean property. Close to world-class shopping and highways. Enjoyed our stay.

Every one was very courteous, the room was spacious and relaxing.

Nice clean hotel, in a convenient area of town. Service was great. Had a problem with parking fees, but front desk took care of it right away. Will definitely stay again when we come back to Houston.

Very nice hotel. Godd area, convenient to everything. Awesome value too!!
