expected a really nice upscale urban high rise , but got a motel 6 in a different shape -disapppointed by: tiny , unimpressive bathrooms, insufficient, and industrial towels, small, cramped room, ill- fitting bedsheets, (so much so that it distorted the shape of the mattress.) no fridge, poor in-room amenities. Friendly and attentive staff did their best to accomodate, but had a mountain to climb

My wife and I stayed on a Friday evening, after working in the area. It was an incredible evening. I think we'll do it again ... soon.

I loved the hotel! I will be staying there from now on!!

we were married at the hotel 23 years so it was nice to revisit past memories. The service was very good.

This hotel was nice. Location was good. Two problems: Restroom looks old and needs and upgrade and the ac could be better. it didnt get cold!

They charge a $12.00 daily parking fee which wasn't made clear when I made the reservation which irritated me.

parking fees not warranted for this location, decaf coffee only in room, tired hotel for the price

Good overrall experience at an affordable rate.

I felt like a celebrity with the service I was given. The valet service was wonderful. One of the drivers even took me to Button's Jazz Club so I wouldn't have to take a cab. I felt like a celebrity. Being a nurse, I always give to others and it felt good to be catered to. The bed was so plush and I love the bathroom because I could spread out all my makeup. I hadn't been out of town and out with the girls in such a long time. I felt great to get into a reasonably priced hotel and get the service I did.

We wanted to get away for the weekend and be able to be close to shopping, food and fun in Dallas. This hotel was a great choice. It was clean and the staff was very friendly. Room service was right on time and we had our choice of places to eat for lunch and dinner. the hotel is undergoing ALOT of renovation but there was no noise on the floors where guests are housed and it did not bother us at all. I highly recommend this hotel.

For starters the construction was horrible in the sense that the workers would start very early in the morning and would just interupt your sleep. Also the inside of the hotel was inconvenient as you had to go through different walk ways to get to your destination. Once you check in the staff should tell you that your credit card will be charged for incidentals but the amount will go away if you did not charge anything to it or caused damages. I was so wondering what those charges were and had to call and inquire. I would not recommend this hotel eventhough it's in a good location.

No one informed us that the hotel was under major constuction. They started on both Saturday and Sunday before 8:00am. The drill sounds, jack hammers were so loud you could not even talk in our room. We called the front desk to find out if we could change rooms and were forwarded to a supervisor which we had to leave a message for, we were never called back.

The enitre bottom floor is under constructiom. The front desk is a table in a ballroom. I guess we showed at a busy time cause it took a longer than normal time to check in. The front desk girl did her job to check us in but did not smile and it seemed like she really hates her job. I dont stay in many hotels, but I think they usually have overnight room service and free wifi which this one does not. I paid much less then the intercontinental across the street and it showed. I would not recommend staying at this hotel.

We stay at this hotel every year for a special evening. The service is always friendly, competent, excellent. They are undergoing a major renovation at this time in the lobby and restaurant/bar area. I wish we'd have known about it in advance as it made arrivals very confusing. But the service was still excellent!

When I made the reservation I asked for a baby bed and I was told that there would be one waiting on us. When we arrived there was not one in the room so I called the front desk and they said they would bring one right up. Soon after they brought one up, the kicker is that the pack in play was full of mold. It was terrible. I personally took it down to the manager and he said he would check and see what was going on. They brought another one up to the room that was clean but we never heard from the manager again. Its scarey to think if they were willing to give my baby a molded bed how clean is the rest of the room?

there was construction in the lobby that impacted the condition of the hotel. otherwise it was conveniently located, comofortable rooms, and the staff was very helpful. the cardio equipment in the gym is also great. the hotel is not a resort destination, but it does have all of the comfort and convenience you need if you just need a place to stay while visiting Dallas.

I just wanted to get away locally for my fiance's birthday. We only stayed one night, but it was great! Room service the next morning was very good, and the guy at the front desk comped our parking! It was great!!! Thank you!!! :)

Upon checking in we learned that parking was $12 a day. The thermostat was inaccurate as far the actual tempature in the room. We had it on 60F but it was actually closer to 70F. The fitted sheet was ripped at the bottom of one of the beds. The bathroom had no form of automated ventilation. The bathroom door would not close. The pool was not clean. Overall, our stay was less than satisfactory.

We stayed here to see all the fireworks from kaboomm fest. The hotel was very nice, 5 star. indoor and outdoor pool that was spacious and a nice fitness facility. Also enjoyed the hot tob and dry sauna. We could of seen the fireworks poolside if we wanted but the kids wanted to walk to the square were all the main activitys were going on. It was a 10 minute walk with 3 kids in tow. we got to experience all the fun and when it was over just walk back down to the hotel instead of getting stuck in traffic for 3 hours. great hotel, kid friendly but elegant.

As a business traveler, what impressed me the most about my stay at this Marriott in particular was the level of customer service I experienced. The front desk staff (especially an Asian women with a four letter name that starts with "M") began to exceed my expectations from the moments I checked in. I had weeks of business receipts which I needed to scan for expenses purposes. This amazingly friendly woman took the time to scan them in chronological order, email them to me and then placed them all nicely in an envelope. They also recommended they send me a mini-fridge to me room so that I could keep beer chilled for when I needed one at the end of a long day. These and more were unsolicited offers which saved me time, money and headaches. I will DEFINITELY stay here again when I'm in Dallas again. I also found the location to be perfected placed geographically to reduce my commute time to various customer locations. The breakfast is GREAT too! It was a WONDERFUL experience far beyond my expectations (and I travel a great deal for work).

A quality hotel, but slightly overpriced. Guests must pay for parking which was highly disappointing. However, the room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was helpful and courteous. There are other hotels nearby...shop around but don't be afraid to stay here if it's the only one available.
