The Georgian Court Hotel - ונקובר

אם אתה מאלו שנוטים למלונות בוטיק, זאת הבחירה המושלמת! אהבתי את הפרטים הקטנים והמיקום. מיקום מרכזי, קל להגיע ממנו ואליו. הדבר השלילי (מעט) הוא חיבור ה-wireless internet. מעולה בלובי אבל בעייתי כאשר הייתי בחדר שלי (שהיה בקומה התשיעית). מצד שני, זה מלון בוטיק... אתה הולך אליו כדי להרגע ולהתנתק מציוד אלקטרוניקה.

אם אתם מגיעים לוונקובר לכבוד ההוקי, הפוטבול או להצגה בתיאטרון QE, אז המיקום הזה מעולה. ומסעדת Frankies הסמוכה גם כן לא רעה.

בסך הכל חוויה נהדרת. שימו לב שהם בונים מלון נוסף ממש מאחורי Georgian Court. הקדיחות באדמה שהתחילו ב-8 בבוקר לא אפשרו שינה עד מאוחר. כמובן שזה לא אשמת Georgian Court, אבל מידע זה אולי יעזור לך להחליט היכן לשהות. Cheers

קל למצוא, במרחק הליכה משני האצטדיונים, אשהה כאן שוב בלי ספק.

אנחנו ביקרנו בונקובר כדי לראות משחק של Canucks והמיקום הזה היה מושלם! יכולת לראות את אולם Rogers מהמלון, זו הליכה ממש קצרה. אווירה מאוד כייפית מאחר והיו עוד כמה אורחים שהיו שם בגלל המשחק. השירות היה יוצא מן הכלל וכל המלון היה נקי ויפה. אהבנו את החניה המאובטחת ונהנינו מכל דבר בשהייה שלנו. אנו לחלוטין נחזור.

אם אתה הולך לאירוע ב-BC Place, זה מקום מאוד מאוד נוח לשהות בו. ההליכה ללב Yaletown בשביל ארוחת ערב הייתה מאוד סבירה, אפילו בגשם (היו מטריות באזור הדלת לשימוש האורחים). הדבר המוזר היחיד היה המעלית. תוציא את המפתח שלך מהר כדי לבחור את הקומה שלך או שמצפה לך טיול ארוך מאוד. אנחנו העדפנו שארוחת הבוקר תשלח אלינו. השירות היה מאוד מדוייק.

מיקום נהדר אם אתם הולכים ל-Rogers Arena או ל-BC Place. חדר נוח. אשהה כאן שוב.

מלון נחמד, שירות טוב וידידותי. אידאלי במידה ואתה פוקד אירוע ב- BC Place, במשטח ההחלקה Rogers Ice או לשם כניסה ל-False Creek. היה בסדר, אם כי אני (השוהה על בסיס קבוע במלונות למטרות עסקים) לא הבנתי את החלק של ה-'luxury'. החדרים בסדר גמור, 'בגבול העליון של הסטנדרט' יהיה תיאור מתאים יותר מאשר 'luxury'.

בעלי ואני היינו בטיולינו הראשון לונקובר. באנו לצפות במשחק ההוקי ורצינו מלון קרוב לאיצטדיון. זה היה מושלם. הליכה של 5 דקות אל Rogers Arena, ובנוסף מרחק הליכה למספר איזורים נוספים (Gastown, Robson shopping area...אפילו Stanley Park אם לא מפריעה לכם הליכה של 2 מייל). צוות המלון היה ידידותי והחדרים היו נקיים ונוחים. אנחנו נשהה שם שנית.

מאכזב שהחניה עלתה לנו 10$ ללילה. במחיר ששילמנו על המלון, זה היה צריך להיות כלול. כנראה שלא אחזור לשם לשהות ארוכה בגלל זה.

The stay was quite nice. Unfortunately, there were a couple of inconveniences that really left a sour taste. Hotel staff failed to make up our room and replenish the little things like tea/coffee soaps/shampoos. When we enquired, and sought some teas bags, there was an initial apology, which we thanked them for and moved on. Unfortunately, as we were retiring for the night, we received a late night phone call to tell us that it was our fault, because we did not ask for the room to be made up. I made a point during check up that I did not appreciate the late night call to tell me a load of rubbish. The desk staff apologised, yet again, but this time I was not so quick to accept. The double beds were very small, but luckily there were two so we could have one each. Despite these issues the hotel itself, including its location were great, but as there is plenty of accommodation in Vancouver, this one is off our list.

The hotel staff did everything possible to meet our needs. The hotel was beautifully maintained and perfectly located. It was quiet even with the construction next door. I plan to return for another visit.

Nice hotel, conveniently located near Rogers Arena and the Vancouver Sun Run finish line!

The staff were friendly and helpful. I also like that they have a complimentary yoga mat to use during your stay.

very nice luxurious small hotel. Great location close to bc place restaurants etc. make sure you get a room facing the street the rear faces a very ugly construction site that is very close. Had we been there during a weekday the noise might have been pretty intense. The front desk people are very young and not very consistent ranging from great to almost useless. Frankie's restaurant is excellent with a great small batch beer brewed by the chef. Very good pastas appetizers etc. I would definitely stay again.

For this hotel being classified as luxury I think is misleading. there is no pool, the gym is tiny and was not able to go work out at all due to it being full all the time. the service that we received was rude and very snobby. I will never be coming back to this hotel again

fabulous hotel and appreciated the beautiful view from our room which was around the corner from our event at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Staff is always helpful and room is comfortable. I always love to stay here when I visit Vancouver BC!

Very helpful staff. Nice exercise area/pool. If your are attending sporting event, this is th eplace...next door to stadium and arena. Rate comparable to hotels in area. I would definitely return to the Georgian Court.

My only complaint was when I checked in at 4:30 I asked if it would be possible to get a later check out time than 1200 and was immediately told NO. As I was running the Sun Run and meeting up with my run group after at BC Place to chat and see how everyone did and not have to rush. He then said I would have to check with the front desk the next morning. So on the way out Sunday before 8am I asked and they relunctantly said 1230 at the latest. It would have been nice to have had time to enjoy the hotel amenities and go to the hot tub to soak for a few minutes to relax the muscles but time didn't permit it so showered and left just before 1230. I have stayed at this hotel several times for the Sun Run and a later check out of 1pm was never a problem before. Other than this little issue everything else was great and would book there again.

My family stayed at this hotel for a short weekend getaway. The hotel was a short Skytrain ride from the Amtrak station and very conveniently located. The staff was great, the rooms were clean, and the beds were comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was that breakfast wasn't included, but you can't have everything at such a great price.

The staff deserve 5/5; most friendly and helpful in all areas. The restaurant is superb. Best seafood linguine that I've ever had and I've had lots of fresh seafood of all types in Alaska, BC and Yukon. It is a ten minute walk to Roundhouse/Yaletown and a couple of minutes to Stadium/Chinatown which are not a problem for most travellers. Taxi service is always present right out front of the hotel.

We liked being downtown but not right on the busy retail streets. Our view of the Rogers Arena roof was interesting, especially at night, but not a lovely water view, which might have been nice. The Aveda hair care and personal products were a hit with my teenage daughter. The beds and bed linens were quite comfortable. Our room was somewhat small for two beds but not nearly as cramped as some others where we have stayed. The steam and sauna were not crowded and pleasant to use.The staff was helpful and welcoming and we liked being able to park so easily, taking our car in and out ourselves.

Visited with my daughter. The hotel is in an ideal location within walking distance of most places. The beds were comfortable and the bath towels were very nice. The Aveda products were a nice touch. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. The suggestion to take the Pacific Coach bus (which picked us up right in front of the hotel) for our travel to Victoria and then to the Vancouver Airport for our trip home was a life saver!

Pillow is too soft which I have sore neck every morning. The heater is too noise that why they provide ear plugs .

Great service from the front desk upon check in- friendly and helpful. Concierge also very helpful with walking directions to the Saddledome (although it was a long walk- about 1/2 hr!) I forgot toiletries but was given a nice assortment from the front desk- whew! Overall I highly recommend the Westin.

There is not enough parking at the Hotel I had to park at another Hotel

Had a great stay, was my first time at the Georgian Court and would love to go back to the hotel! Love the bathroom amenities, very nice touch!

The Georgian Court offers a great, affordable stay close to downtown Vancouver. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful from check-in to check-out. The dollar for dollar exchange rate was an unexpected bonus. The hotel bar and lounge offered a nice sense of ambiance when I didn't want to venture too far for a drink. There were a couple of minor issues that kept this hotel from a 5 star rating. One of the elevators was out of service so it was a little slow going up and down (but I was on vacation so I had the time to spare). The main issue was the construction next door that started early in the morning. The hotel did supply ear plugs that helped me get a couple of extra hours of sleep. There was also an issue with another guest knocking on my door early one morning. The hotel heard about it and took care of a day of parking and sent up a box of chocolates (Lindor Truffles solve all of life's problems). Overall this was a great place to stay and much nicer than the hotels I typically stay in. I highly recommend staying here if you need a place near BC Place and Rogers Center.

Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, the bed was wonderful.

Very nice hotel, good size rooms with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. One elevator didn't work which meant a short wait at times, not a huge issue for us. The restaurant had wonderful food and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. Parking garage is a bit tight. Great to be so close to the arena and stadium as well as many shops and restaurants within walking distance. I will book this hotel again next time I have an event in Vancouver.

We arrived from Sydney and did a 3 Day Lay over in Vancouver. The Hotel was booked online on the recommendations of the TripAdvisor reviews.Well what a very pleasant surprise.... It was fantastic and will highly recommend to anyone coming to Vancouver.Thanks we will certainly be back.

We were very satisfied with this hotel. We have stayed here over the years and have always had a pleasant stay. Had dinner and breakfast at the hotel as well...very good! Thank you Georgian Court for the shuttle to the down town area.

Loved it, not only was it super close to our venue, it has alot going on around it too.
