Holiday Inn Clark - Newark Area - קלארק

This hotel was amazing and huge! The bed was amazing and the rest of the room was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious! Best hotel breakfast I've ever had. They also had a beautiful pool that I didn't get to take advantage of. Awesome choice. Would definitely come back!

While the staff is nice enough the room is just so so. The ac in the room shuts on and off all night. The blankets have a rough sound every time you move. The walls are very thin and the "business" crowd enjoys their late nights coming and going. Not worth the price they ask.

The rooms are very nice. With that said the resturaunt and bar should stay open later on the weekend. We missed food by 10 min and the bar shuts down promptly at midnight. Next morning I called down for breakfast and no one answered the phone. Other than that it was nice.

This hotel was conveniently located, close to the Garden State Parkway (but not noisy). the room was clean and spacious with free reliable wifi. The restaurant downstairs was convenient and friendly but the food was just ok. The cafe next to the reception had good muffins and coffee, perfect for a to-go breakfast. The staff at the reception, cafe and restaurant was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel.

By far this is the best Holiday Inn I've ever stayed at. Exceptional Clean, Steps away from the expressway, lounge and restaurant. The front desk clerk/attendant greeted me by name each day (WOW).

This hotel is very nicely renovated and offers all the amenities of a 5 star hotel. It has a great gym and wonderful restaurant and bar.

We stayed there 4 days and the entire staff was friendly. The rooms were clean and the location is central to everything. Will definitely stay there whenever I'm in the area.

The Restaurant service and maid service was great - so polite and efficient, the rooms were spotless and the beds so comfortable - I will plan to stay here on my next trip to NJ

We were very pleasantly surprised at the quality of this property. The decor was very nice for the price point, and the bed and pillows were to die for!

The service was excellent. The room was clean. Although, I wish my room had a microfridge and microwave. Also, I wish the shuttle service covered a wider radius than it did. Great hotel! I would definitely stay here again!

all the hotel needs in the rooms is a snack bar and a regitator.

I am from NJ, now living in NC and when my family and I are in town, we usually stay at the Keniworth Inn. The Kenilworth inn cost is usually the lowest in the surrounding area, considering it is a dated hotel, but a decent one for the money. However, there prices have gone up at least $20 more and I refused to pay extra for a hotel that still has rosey wall paper on the walls. So I found the Holiday Inn at a much cheaper price, just minutes from The Kenilworth Inn. To my surprise rooms were well kept and up to date. The hotel itself was great. They also have a great buffet, however it is not free and will cost you from $10-$15, which is not bad for the good food they serve. I would highly recommend this hotel and it will be our hotel of choice for all future trips to NJ from now on.

Little to no internet service. Apparently a long time problem not addressed!

It was very comfortable and value for money

The customer service here is great. They are always polite and willing to assist you. Also the breakfast here is worth the upgrade.

my sister and I had a fantastic weekend taking care of family affairs.

Complimentary internet was what made me decide between this hotel and the alternate choice. The staff was very friendly and attentive. My room was next to a service door, and the only downside was being able to hear the in and out. Also, at first, with being unfamiliar with the area, while attempting to get to the hotel entrance, it is easy to find yourself back on Garden Parkway.

Great place to relax

My first stay at this location was great. My second stay was okay. It amazes me that the bathroom was not properly cleaned. Also, it is a hotel you don't want to see stained ceiling tiles. I appreciated the color choices for the bed linens. Employees need to just take a little more care when cleaning. It takes on 2 seconds to dust the light fixtures. And 3 minutes to mop the bathroom floor. Otherwise the hospitality team are wonderful.

This hotel use to be the Crowne Plaza. It has the same structure as before BUT the detail was disappointing! Upon checking in the hotel the gentlemen at the counter had his tie loosely hanging from his neck and the top button open. Not what you wanna see while doing business! It gave the whole place a bad image. I had no refrigerator in my room! I don't think that's a HUGE amenity to include! Also, as I walked down the hall, to my room, I noticed some of the handles were missing from the room doors! That disturbed me!

It was clean & comfortable, with great service. Will stay there again.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, however there weren't many places to eat near the hotel. We did find a couple of take out/delivery places, but it would have been nice if the hotel had a mall or some type of shopping areas nearby so that one could possibly sat and enjoyed some quiet dining/shopping. Overall, the hotel was nice; the staff was very pleasant; the food was too expensive otherwise we enjoyed it.

Fantastic breakfast. Very nice accomodations. Only problem was curtains were too translucent, they could not block out light from street and other establishments.

I loved the hotel decor and the friendly and warm staff. The breakfast was hearty and well worth the extra money paid at the tine of booking.

My only issues was the maids just walk in the room to clean it b4 I could answer the knock that was almost nonexistent

Glad we found it, probably the best deal we could find around the Newark area without having to pay a lot (we did get a sale's deal though). Hotel seemed remodeled and rooms were clean. Good service as well.

Listing said it had airport shuttle service and it did NOT. Cost me $170 for two cab rides. Listing also claimed it was nine miles from downtown Staten Island, it was more like 20.

When I checked in they held an additional $30.00 on my bank card even though my room was paid for 2 weeks in advance. I requested a non smoking room which smelled exactly like smoke and Saturday night when I return from the event that brought me to Clark, NJ. there was NO where for me to park my vehicle due to an large event taking place at the hotel. My other family members had no place to park as well. I debated with the hotel manager for about an hour before he found adequate parking for my family members & I

Overall, it was very nice hotel. It has clean room, beds, bath, lobby, and etc. Only one negative thing, it was located next to hwy. I could hear the car passing and somewhat bothered.
