Holiday Inn Toronto Yorkdale - טורונטו

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel and it was a disaster, staff are not professional at all, barely speak English off hours, forgot to activate parking permit to exit hotel, the tv in the $250/ night was broken and they suggested me to move to another room at 1:30am when I wanted to wind down after a full day and go to sleep. They did not even offer any sort of credit. Honestly this was a terrible experience. No fridge in the rooms and so safe!! Ice machine in certain floors instead of each floor!! Toilet bowl is 3" from the bathroom door you could barely move inside the washroom. Other than the location next to yorkdale this hotel has nothing decent to offer. Save your money and try somewhere else.

Only stayed for one night we thought the restaurant prices for lunch and esp.breakfast a la carte expensive!

Pleasant say. Great service. Close to all, business and shopping.

never take a room at this hotel that is on the first 6 floors and faces the large atrium where the pool and the fitness center are. kids screaming in the pool until 1am and then people using the fitness center at 5am. machines dont have their own screen so everyone uses the large tv with the volume on high. you can hear every word in every room. called front desk at 5am, 515 530 to complain and nobody did anything.

Easy on/off hwy access and walking distance to Yorkdale Mall and subway downtown. Hotel restaurant was over priced and not very good - better off walking to one of the nearby places.

recommended! great location just across fron yorkdale mall and everything else! clean staff is friendly and polite!

Rooms badly need updating, tv is 25 years old and bathrooms are not in line with room rates charged

The hotel stuff was very friendly. Very clean and well kept. It is located right next to the highway but it was so quiet that you would never think that it is that close. HUGE mall across the street, great for shopping. The only thing I did not like was that we went to the hotel restaurant and we were told that we needed to wait about 20 minutes, after almost 35 minutes we left to eat in another restaurant, they had tables available and enough personel working so I am not sure why they made us wait. Overalll a very good hotel.

I'm recommending it to others.

Our son is suggesting that his wedding guests stay here next spring. We were very pleased with the facilities-lounge, restaurant, pool-all looks like it will suit everyone. We were very pleased with the courteous service and pleasant room.

I had a very good experience at the hotel. The only thing I didn't like was being charged for parking. I could see if we were Downtown. But that was not the case. The staff was very friendly and the bed was comfy. However, there was a scale in my bathroom. Whose cruel joke was that? LOL

I was pleased with the thoughfulness of the employees at the Yorkdale Holiday Inn. When we were checking in and the front desk manager saw that me and my husband were newly weds he attomaticly upgrade our room to a kings size with a balconly free of charge. This was the best I have ever been treated when staying overnight in a hotel.

This is a beautiful hotel. Very clean and the rooms were beautiful. My only complaint is the lady at hotels .com told me parking was free but it was actually $9.00 to park. Will be going to this hotel again for sure.

The hotel was great. Big rooms, comfy beds, clean place. a big fancy. We were welcomed by a trainee who obssesivly argued it is not possible the room includes parking. After showing him the reservation which stated "free valet parking" he said the parking service itself was free but the parking will cost us. which is kind of wierd because they dont have a valet service at all!! Because it was late i didnt argue and just went to sleep. Other than this experience and the location (which is super-far from downtown toronto), hotel was great.

it would be nice this know if the hotels do continental Breakfasts or not in the bookings descriptions of the hotels.

I enjoyed my stay, was close in location to the events I needed to attend.

Near subways and public transportation, quiet, and comfy.

Room was clean. Service and breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The front desk service was not polite and not very helpful. In the room the central air very loud we could not sleep. Only the location is good.

The hotel iteself is super convenient just off the highway and the proximity of it to the mall, Yorkdale was really nice but the hotel itself is in major need of renovations. It is dark, drab and outdated. The elevators didnt work and we were forced to use the dirty service elevators which were used to transport food waste and other maintenance things. Upon arrival we were put into one room that was dark and stuffy and had no outside windows but rather looked onto an atrium in the middle of the hotel. The rooms facing the outside of the building are brighter and have balconies which allows you to open the door and get fresh air in. The rooms themselves though are old and seem worn and dirty.

paying for local calls and extra charges for parking was not expected and as most hotels have free parking and free local calls, it was not appreciated. The cost for the rooms was very high for what we got. The only advantage was that we were close to a mall and subway station so we had transportation to the events we wanted to see. There were several places close by that had good food at reasonable prices as the hotel was much higher than we were willing to pay. Otherwise, enjoyed the pool and the staff was very helpful.

the overall service was great from the room attendents to the front dest to the restaurant servers, but the accounting department needs some serious improvment. We were told that a $50/day charge would be held on my credit card and we were staying for 5 days. By the end of the second days they had maxed out my credit card by "holding" more than $500. 3 days after getting home and I'm still waiting for some of the holds to be removed.

Very restful, as good as anything downtown.

Nothing to complain about everything was quick and smooth at check in. Room very clean, hotel clean, friendly staff and hotel is in a great location for shopping and public transit in Toronto.

For a party of four, the room was too small, atleast the beds should be of queen size.

The hotel was good for a family visit. The pillows were not great and the entrance to the hotel is very difficult. Do not get a room facing the freeway. Overall however it was a very pleasant stay. In order to get a free newspaper at your door and a 10% discount, one must join their club at the desk, although it is free.

we enjoyed our stay. the kids loved that there was alot of them to to do swimming, tennis, pool table and the play room. and the room was big enough for a 4 people and a crib. it was a very nice stay.

It was great! you guys rock!

For the price of the hotel, I at least though that there would b a fridge or microwave in our room. Also would've been nice to check in a bit early, I heard a lot of other people could, but no reason why I couldn't.

Stay was convenient for our needs coming and going to the Blue Jays game and also for our shopping needs at Yorkdale Mall. Our room was clean but air conditioner a little noisy during the night. otherwise a good experience.

The convenience of location was key for this stay as we were at Downsview Park for both Saturday and Sunday. A short cab ride or subway and shuttle ride got us where we needed to be in no time. Check-in and check-out was a breeze. Any of the staff I had contact with were all around friendly and very easy to talk to. I really enjoyed the resort-style set up of the pool, restaurant, coffee bar and ping ping/badminton area. It almost felt like a vacation spot. p.s. the club house sandwich in the restaurant was killer...two thumbs up!!
