Ramada Fort Lauderdale Airport/Cruise Port - פורט לודרדייל

Only stayed one night, before boarding cruise ship. Very satisfied, and staff very helpful in getting us transportation to ship and then to airport on our return. Would stay with them in the future and certainly would recommend your hotel to friends.

I purchased two room rentals for a place to stay before our cruise. The place looks very run down and outdated. While checking in, the guy took our rental information so we could park there overnight. It didn't matter because in the morning there was a note on our car that it would be towed if it was not moved. We were trying to set up transportation to the cruise port, and the guy setting that up was extremely pushy. He was telling us to cancel our transportation with Carnival at the end of our cruise going back to the airport and use them. He used profanity and made us really uncomfortable. When we got into the rooms one of them never had proper working air. We decided to go for a swim and the pool was disgusting! After we got out we used some of the towels so we called to the office to get more brought up. After two phone calls, and almost an hour, we went to go get our own towels from the office. Our second room found a live bug in the tissue box, so that was gross! The free breakfast in the morning was a joke. You could pay five dollars for a hot breakfast, but it was disgusting and the couple that went down there warned us to go find our own breakfast when we took our rental car back. This place was a joke and not worth the money at all! If I had known this, I definitely would have paid the extra difference per room for a nicer, more comfortable hotel!

Horrible. All of the amenities and features in the room were old, dirty and/or malfunctioning. the neighborhood and the hotel in general felt unsafe. The sound-proofing is miserable. I knew it was an airport hotel, but not all airport hotels have sound proofing that is so poor - I literally thought the planes were going to land on my head.

Stay was good. Would stay again. However, sometimes [depending upon the winds] the motel is also on the glide path for landing aircraft at FLL. Great views of plane underbellies and landing gear at times. No telephoto lenses required. Further, the driving experience to the cruise port on the motel's shuttle van was a death defying act. There was no need for that attempt at domestic terrorism.

The room was clean but the hotel really needs to be updated. I have to wonder if the only thing keeping it open is the proximity to the cruise port and the much appreciated shuttle service.

I booked this hotel because of the free shuttle from the airport and to the port. I had to pay a taxi because the shuttle was so late going to the port. It costed me an extra $25,00 and I felt the hotel was overpriced in the first place. The bedding looked very old and I didn't want to sleep on it. The grounds were pretty. I am very upset about having to pay the extra money when it was suppose to be included. I hate when they tell everyone to purchase a taxi from them for when you get off the ship because you won't be able to get one to go to the airport for $20.00. In reality there are ALOT of taxis and it only costs $15.00! Rip-off!

For our cruise out of Miami, we found it MUCH cheaper to fly into Ft. Lauderdale. The Ramada offers shuttles from the airport -- however neither Hotels.com nor the hotel's site provide much info about the shuttle. Turns out, you have to collect your luggage, follow the signs to the hotel shuttle station, then call the hotel; at that point they will then send the shuttle which will take about 20 min to arrive. The hotel has 2 restaurants -- they're joined with food coming out of the same kitchen; there's also a bar that has the same menu. Each of these automatically charge 15% gratuity regardless of the size of the party; the credit card receipts are set up to solicit additional gratuity, so be ware. And you can't charge any of the on-site services to your room account; they must each be paid for as used (with the gratuity charge). The wine list at the hotel facilities makes Denny's wine list look spectacular. BOTTOM LINE: This hotel is sufficient if you're looking for a 1-night stay. If you're staying in Ft. L any longer, I don't recommend this hotel.

The room was average, the bathroom was dirty, mold in the grout lines, dirt & grime on the shower head, carpet was dirty and the room smelled like used condoms.

Not bad, front desk person was kinda rude, understandable when he is the only one working the front desk, reservations, and arranging shuttle pickup...

Too old and poorly maintained. Tub so old the floor was gray. Noon Tubman made for slippery footing nice bar staff, good location and shuttle service, but rherehastobe something cleaner and more modern.

The rooms were very dirty and the carpet was actually sticky and very dirty. The bathrooms were very nasty looking, as though they didn't even clean them.

It was perfect for what I wanted!

Dirty, old, and run down room. Curtains didn't cover the windows all of the way, so people could see into my room. Front desk help was rude and unhelpful. "Free" breakfast was a joke, and the paid breakfast wasn't that much better. Stay somewhere else unless you're desperate.

The hotel was comfortable and clean. However, when exiting I95 one had to cross three lanes in a very short time to access the hotel which is quite risky. The other option is to drive away from the hotel and make a U-turn.

Hotel is old and in need of refurbishing. Rooms needed updating. Bedding was probably clean but looked to be very old and dingy. I thought it was OK but my wife says she will not stay there again Good location,area seemed safe, transportation was a little slow but OK.

This hotel is very old and tired. The breakfast was very limited and $5 unlike the posted free. We were locked out of our room as the night swing lock housed inside swung shut when we went down for breakfast. Shuttle to Port Everglades was booked up so had to be out of our room by 11 but shuttle couldn't take us until 2? Took a cab for 10 dollars and got to enjoy the cruise 3 hours earlier. Would never stay here again and think it should be removed from the list of those you offer.

Room itself is clean enough, neighborhood is all loud traffic, from cars on highway and planes overhead. At least close to airport. Shuttle times, though posted, leave early and late. Really poor experience in breakfast room with free buffet taken away at 10 01 am, as well as coffee. No understanding from restaurant staff. Some good, concerned people at front desk, in spite of no refill policy of coffee in lobby. Outdoor pool NOT HEATED. Was unable to get beyond my ankles. Indoor wooded area around pool is nicest aspect visually. A toss up for the money spent...

Hotel was outdated and felt dirty. Dirty old carpets, sheets didn't look clean & white, taps leaked, toilet didn't flush very well, noisy air conditioner. Just very outdated and not maintained very well. Close enough to airport & cruiseport which was convenient, but no stores or restaurants nearby. We paid way too much money for the quality of the place. It would have been ok if it was a discount hotel but for what we paid, we did not receive our money's worth at all. Would not stay there again.

Musty odors in room, rusted doors and AC. AC old, noisy, and without filter. Carpet old and worn. Very crowded for shuttle to cruise dock. Mt advice is to spend the $15 cab fare to the cruise port and stay in a nicer hotel.

The rooms were moldy, stinky and furniture had rips and tears in them. Sheets had holes and so did the carpet.

It was fine for our overnight stay before our cruise.

Very crowded due to airport/cruise port location and free shuttle to and from each. Very old, rusty equipment and doors, no filters in A/C, and musty odor in rooms. We will not stay here again when we take another cruise. Shuttle pickup after cruise made us wait over an hour, finally we took a cab for $15. To their credit, we were reimbursed for the cab.

The timing worked really well after arriving off cruise we stayed over and flew home to Canada early next day. occasional noise from jets landing at airport close by.

Staff went out of their way to be friendly and helpful: The shuttle bus driver even went back to the airport after his shift should have ended to retrieve a backpack left behind there. The shuttle was available until around midnight, which was esp helpful considering our late arrival. I was surprised that there was a charge, although it was only about $5, for the breakfast, which I thought was going to be free. It is an older hotel. I felt we received a very fair deal. There is a safe place with a pool in the middle of the building that had beautiful landscaping.

Hotel is getting old and run down. Not far from airport and cruise port but there are better places to stay for about the same price. Plenty of hidden charges on the final bill ie. city tax, etc.

Very old style hotel with a wall of windows like the old time Holiday Inns. Stayed here because of free shuttle from airport and to the cruise line.Tiki bar and courtyard were a relaxing touch. Nice to have a full service restaurant too. Shuttle service even picked us up from the cruise port and took us to the airport for a minimum fee.

We were delighted to find a small nature preserve right down the road. We thought we would only find places that sold big boats. What a pleasant surprise

The front desk staff was very nasty. The carpet on the corridors leading to the rooms was filthy and ripped. The vending machines were behind gates, so that should have told me something right then and there. The room was not very clean. The bathroom had mold, we didnt even take showers and the door did not close. The breakfast buffet was $5.00 per person and the eggs were cold, juice was watered down it was not good. You are better off buying a bag of cookies in the machine. ISince we did not get in until Midnight we did not have a choice but to stay , had it been earlier we would have looked for another hotel. Very DIRTY will NEVER stay again.

We chose to stay at this hotel upon our return from a cruise becuase it was convenient to both the port and the airport. When we got there it was extremely busy but the staff was accommodating in getting us into our room as soon as possible (a few hours earlier than check in). The room however was not very clean. The sheets were absolutely grey so I used some towels to cover the pillows. There was a lot of noise from next door so we couldn't sleep and it was too cold to use the pool so we inquired about transportation to shopping, restaruants, etc. There is only one shuttle that leaves at 3:30 and returns at 5:30. An alternative is to pay $50.00 round trip to the Hard Rock Casino, which we did. It was nice....lots of restaurants and some shopping. Overall this hotel is convenient for cruisers but if you prefer cleanliness over convenience, don't book here.

good location for our stay prior to a cruise

Meet friends at this Hotel. Check in For the price I paid It was round down,there nothing around the hotel to do. The Hotel before I stayed was on Sunrise Blvd. It's Better to stay on Sunrise,or The causewayI think It's 17th there all kind of resturant,and thing to do,and your more closer to the cruiseships and the Airport. Also the City Bus it more easyer to get around.

Sheets on one of the beds were dirty. Staff in restaurant was very good. Overpriced. Hotel is outdated and old fixtures. Low budget hotels are keep up better. Shuttle to dock was disorganized and we were mislead about the cost of other options on return to airport.

The hotel is outdated but clean and the staff friendly. The location leaves you hostage to the local tour operator for transport to local hot spots (taxis cost a fortune). On my day there - the lobby was swamped with departing guests and incoming ones - the front was inadequately staffed for the volume.
