We enjoyed ourself they took out the hot tub but we made the best of it

We had a great stay. The Hotel decor was beautiful , the room was very clean, the bed was comfortable (and I have severe back issues), the Staff were so accommodating and friendly, and the location is right in the center of everything! We only had two minor inconveniences: 1) we had ordered Take Out and the place we ordered from forgot plastic ware and plates so we called the main desk, asked if they could provide them, they said yes but 11/2 hours later, still no plastic ware, we called again, they then switched us to the in-house restaurant and they refused to bring us plastic ware because we didn't order from them. 2) Our air conditioner was broke but had maintenance come immediately, and temporarily fixed it, so didn't need to tear all apart during our stay. So, all in all, it was a great stay and we will be back next year!!!

We just went for 1 night to visit some friends. The hotel a bit outdated but was very clean and the bed, very comfortable. Was surprised on such a big name hotel to have a gift shop that had almost all bare shelves in it. We were also woken up at 7:30am to evacuate the building by a very loud alarm and announcement, to enter shortly after for a false alarm. I must add that as we checked out they offered us a free breakfast for the inconvenience.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. They gave us warm cookies at check-in and were very helpful in helping us navigate the hotel. The hotel was comfortable and had very nice decor. I will definitely stay at another DoubleTree in the future.

The hotel was beautiful. The staff, from the front desk to the porters were so welcoming. The room was very nice and quiet. Check in and Check out were so easily done. I would gladly return to this hotel.

The hot tub was not working and the pool was tiny and overcrowded.

it was very nice little high price food but good

Overall we were very please with this hotel. The inside is very neat with the pool and all the greenery. The kids thought is was "awesome". The kids had a great time swimming in the pool while it was snowing outside. The staff was friendly when we arrived. We would stay there again.

It's very clean! The outside look of the hotel doesn't do it any justice as to how it looks in the inside. It's got great design on the inside! Def will stay again! Two thumbs up!

Nice hotel. I had little interaction with hotel staff except to complain about noisy guest in adjacent room at 11 pm they said they would send security to check and noise abated about an hour later 12 pm. It was a Saturday night. Room was very nice and bed very comfortable. Internet fee is $10 a day "please".

We had stayed at this hotel once before and absolutely loved it. We then planned consecutive nights with two rooms and brought family to celebrate an event, but then found out there was a hockey tournament the entire time we were there. The drunken chaperones and kids running wild for two days was not the best; we were unable to use the pool, hot tub, etc. and kids were bouncing balls off of our sliding glass doors in the corridor, etc. We will know to ask about group conferences the next time!

Overall it was an excellent stay! The staff, room and ambience was excellent!

All of the staff that we encountered during our stay were friendly and ready to do whatever it took to make our stay enjoyable and comfortable.

The toilet ran off and on all night.

This hotel is an excellent location with many great dining opportunities within walking distance. The staff was quick to serve and answer questions. The overall cleanliness (in public areas and in my room) was exceptionally notable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to a business traveler or family.

the stay was very good did not like the fact that I booked two rooms & had an extra $100.00 hold charge on my account for 3 days

Pros: Large Room, Very clean, Warm cookies each day, Good pool hours, Business Center, Cons: Mostly Business Clientele, Small pool, Surrounded by major roads across the street from strip mall, no park/land nearby

We have stayed at Doubletree's before so we knew what to expect in terms of room comfort, which is very good at this hotel although the room is a bit small. We stayed 4 nights. Bed was very comfortable, a/c unit working properly and pretty silent, decor, comfort and cleanliness excellent. Rest of hotel - carpet seemed dirty. Wall Street Journal was provided - great. Elevator was not working and under repair during 2 of the days - not too inconvenient and hey - things happen. What was most disappointing was no free WIFI - room is advertised as internet access, but in order to get internet in room cost is $10/day. That and the immediate location (very busy intersections, streets and commercial), but mostly the no internet will keep this Doubletree off our list for our next trip to Rocheter area. We stayed at a not too pleasant hotel night before our arrival and even that place had free WiFi - we were told free WiFi at Doubletree was reserved for their "platinum" guests. In this day and age, free WiFi should be available at most places and is definitely a plus in our estimation. Bottom line - probably won't stay at this location and will check in advance at others in the future re WiFi in room.

The hotel overall is very nice , my only complaint would be , I booked two rooms and called the front desk the week before and requested the rooms be next to each other, Matthew at the front desk assured that he had taken care of my request and upon arrival it was not. The request was so my 90yr old mother could be next to my brother and his wife while in town for a wedding.Also the front desk and lounge at night seemed to be under staffed for the amount of guests in house.

The staff was marginally helpful. There is no free Wi-Fi, which I found astounding. Much cheaper hotels provide free wi-fi. Service in the bar area was poor.

The location was great. The hotel needs some updating to remain competitive. The desk staff could have been friendlier and more welcoming.

The hotel staff were very nice, but the room looked dirty, beds were very uncomfortable. We had to ask for replacement towels because our replenished ones were wet, then they brought us new ones and they were still wet. Only one elevator worked. No towels at pool that were supposed to be there, etc. Just very disappointing.
