Radisson Hotel Chicago O'Hare - Des Plaines

Hotel was clean. Everyone of the staff was professional. Neighborhood/ surrounding areas are decent.

Close to event destination. Longhorne Steakhouse adjacent to Hotel.

Rooms at this hotel are updated and very clean, longhorn steakhouse next door is ver convenient.

This is an older property that needs some TLC. There are other properties for similar money that are newer and better maintained. For example, sleep # bed is a big selling point for Radisson – mine was broken (I know, I own 2 of them.) You can spend less money for a C+ or B property nearby or you can spend the same for B+ or even sometimes an A. I will comment that in the limited dealings I had the staff was quite pleasant.

Very close to Allstate arena for the concert. Dinner on the walk to concert at lone star steakhouse. Overall great hotel for the price!

Location of hotel was easy off,easy on. Was impressed with the sleep comfort bed. The bathroom was a bit small, but clean. Overall the room was comfortable and clean. Disappointed that there was not a complimentary breakfast of some sort as so many hotels now offer that.

The Radisson O'Hare is a great option for an overnight stay near the airport. Target is just down the street if you need general shopping and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. The bartender in the lounge was a good guy and helped me kill some time (and some brain cells) when my travel partner wanted to get some rest.

Nice hotel with good gym equipment. Front desk folks consistently pleasant.

The entire hotel staff (front-desk, housekeeping, breakfast cafe, and shuttle) were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and quiet. It was a cinch to get downtown via the Blue Line from O'Hare. The shuttle dropped us off and picked us up on schedule right in front of the terminal where the train/bus center was located. Don't waste your money on those expensive hotels downtown. That is, unless you have money to burn!

You can reach many destinations with easy access to transport.courtesy shuttle very useful

Everything was very satisfying

I dont know if it had to do with what time of year it was, but it was quiet and comfortable. I've stayed in other hotels around there and this was just as nice.

This location is right across the street from the All State Arena. Great selection of restaurants to choose from within walking distance. The hotel is clean, friendly, and very convenient! Would stay again.

The bed was very comfortable. Who ever decided to put Sleep Number beds in your hotel did a great service to the customers. I will definitely book again with Radisson just for the comfortable bed.

Location near airport. Able to use hotel transport to airport for train to downtown. Located next to shopping center with multiple eating places. Road next to hotel was a cross Chicago highway so did not have to take toll roads. Very good!!!!

We stayed at this hotel because it was close to Park Ridge where we have family. It is quite nice. The staff was friendly. The business center was located in a separate room and the computers were great. The only draw back is finding a parking place close to the front entrance after 7pm on a weekend because of the busy steak house next door. However, I can certainly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Great place to plan a trip to the Chicago area as easy to get to and from the major highways and the airport Easy to find Good places to eat and shop close by. We liked the train track near the hotel so we could see the trains even if not very many.

Good Value, Found the sleep number beds very comfortable.

We used the hotel as our base for our visit to Medinah for the Ryder Cup. The beds were comfy, the bathroom clean and in great working order, the location was safe and it was relatively quiet. There is some noise between rooms but we didn't have boisterous people on our floor or above us. The buffet in the lobby was just OK -- way more that we were looking for actually and relatively mundane. The business center in the lobby was really convenient as was the shuttle service and front desk. Would stay again if I didn't want to say in the loop.

The staff was very friendly and very willing to help and answer any questions. shuttle to and from airport was very convenient. We really enjoyed the hotel, we only wish we had known prior to stay that the pool would be closed for the season when we got there.

good; dependent on shuttle bus which was reliable until the last day-driver didn't show up. Excellent choice of local restaurants. Very corteous helpful staff

I was very dissatisfied with this radisson hotel. Stay at the raddison in Milwaukee and they were amazing. I expected the same here.. No way!! We felt we were unwanted house guests:( very very disappointing!!

This hotel is located in one of the most convenient places I have ever been. It is close to chicago airport, located next to a number of restaurants, Next to a Target shopping center with multiple other amentities and a nail salon. There is also 2 car rental places within walking distances. It has a gym and a pool which was good as well.

we had 2 rooms one king and other was 2 doubles. king bed room has sofa come bed which was really good and big beds were so comfy. bathrooms were clean and maintained. wardrobes were wide and clean. everything was very good and comfortable.

It was a room that was directly infront of an elevator and next to an exit door. Igot maybe 2 hrs of sleep the entire night. Rm #141 should be offered at a 50% discount. I wish I could have gotten my money back from them.

The Hotel had a sleep comfort bed. If anybody out there has been in an accident or had back trouble, then u will love this bed. We had a balcony and actually chose which floor we wanted to be on. We were there to see a concert, which was walking distance (about a block) from our hotel. There were many restaurants very close to us, even walking distance and a liquor store. The hotel had a restaurant and a bar as well. The only thing that I would recommend is a small frige.

the location was good and the hotel staff knew good recommendations for food etc in the area. The bed in the room was very, very hard....just be aware if you don't like a firm mattress this may not be the location for you

Staying at this hotel was a great experience. Everyone was very friendly and answered any questions asked. Very accomodating. The room was cozy and the sleep number bed was so comfortable. The room was nice and clean. It location was great located near different shops, resturants and the cta train station. Great experience and would come back to stay again.

We enjoyed our stay as it was the first time for us in chicago and not sure of where to stay distance wise from downtown chicago. This hotel was convenient as they provide a free shuttle to the airport where you can catch the cta to downtown and eliminate driving as it is very busy downtown to drive and park. not to mention saving on fuel and parking.

Our stay at this hotel was excellent, staff was very professional and friendly. Room was clean and the environment was quiet. The surrounding neighborhood was great, many stores and restaurants at walking distance and close enough to the highway to drive downtown as well as the airport. We would have loved to enjoy the pool but it was under maintenance, other than that, it was a great experience. We are looking forward to staying there again.

The hotel itself was great. Location not so hot but you cannot expect much with airport location hotels. Staff very helpful and friendly. I arrived in the morning, they willingly held my bags, then I could go off to my meeting and when finished, checked in. Shuttle and wake up service was dependable as well. I was there a total of 8 hours before checking out the next morning for my flight.

Very neat hotel with very professional staff. The rooms were neat and the bed was very comfortable. Clean bathrooms too. I only stayed for a night and did not regret it. Next time I swing by Chicago and will be staying close to the airport, i will definitely stay there.
