I was very upset with this hotel. I only choose this hotel because of the web site saying it had a spa tube and then on arrival finding out there was not one and the worker and saying anything nice about it. I will never stay at that hotel again due to the fails information.

Very nice hotel, would stay there again. Quiet location. Only issue was drain in shower & hopefully that will be addressed.

I travel a lot and have become more aware of service as I travel. This was a clean room, has a small bar onsite. The breakfast was disappointing. The person who was caring for it was not too friendly. The eggs and sausage were not good tasting. There was no flavored creamer at the breakfast bar, which I do like. The eggs had no flavor and were mealy. So clean room, nice area pleanty of places to eat

I had to put two pilots at this location and they were VERY, VERY surprised and pleased with the hotel and service. Will use this location again.

The hotel is not in a great part of town, but is close to restaurants. Breakfast was lackluster at best. The room was not cleaned well and many of the furnishings were in poor repair. Overall, it was not a great place, however it is pet friendly and the price was cheap. It was OK for a couple of nights for a family get together at Thanksgiving. Will likely not stay here again though.

I've stayed at three other Lima area motels while visiting family, and this was by far the nicest. Good sized, clean rooms, impressive indoor courtyard with pool, games (air hockey, pool table, ping pong table, etc.), good breakfast in spacious area. Good help on the night desk, although the morning guy needs to stick around the office a bit more. A little hard to find because the Howard Johnson's signage is so much smaller and less conspicuous than signage for other surrounding motels. Decent price -- in fact, a great price for all that you get.

My room was not cleaned during my stay. The bed was not made. I was told by the front desk that they had a lot of complaints about the rooms not being cleaned and the beds not made, but no effort to correct the situation. Upon arrival there were dirty footprints in the bathroom; they were still there when I left. I will never stay at another Howard Johnson. My stay was due to a death in the family and I did not need the extra aggrivation.

Although we would have preferred to be closer to Ada, we enjoyed our stay here very much. It was great for our needs.

Perfect location. Spacious room. Complementary pizza bar mn evening and complementary hot breakfast in the morning.

I have allergies and the way the room smelled bothered me. It smelled smokey and musty, and my room was supposed to be non smoking.

We went to Lima, OH for my daughter's orientation day. We enjoyed our stay and will stay here again over the next few years, while she is in school @UNOH.

I had a great stay.

The hotel was clean and located in the middle to everything you could need while away from home. Great resturants, stores etc. Nice clean rooms, good breakfast.

THE STAFF WAS GREAT , THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN , THE PRICES WERE VERY REASONABLE , YOU COULDNT ASK FOR ANY MORE.

Though an older property the lobby area is updated, bright, and spotless. The staff did a wonderful job in providing us with a clean (and I mean clean to the corners), fresh-smelling room. You can see that the housekeeping staff takes pride in their work. The reason we booked here was just an over-night stay during our trip - we were merely passing through - but I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a clean, pleasant place to stay with a staff that really cares.

Only complaint I have is. When I checked in I was given room 223. When I went to room it hadn't been cleaned. I talked to housekeeper and tod them what was going on. I was going out to meet a freind anyway. When I returne later roomwasperfect.

My family had a wonderful time this past weekend at Howard Johnson's. We swam and used the hot tub (very relaxing), several times. I had my grown adult children and a 4 month old grandbaby, my mother and my 1yr and 4yr olds with me, so it was wonderful for all ages. We didn't want to leave my 4yr old thought we could live there from now on. Highly recommended.

I loved the room. Front Desk service was excellent. Very lovely decor. Location was directly off highway which made it easy. Breakfast was pulled a little early about 9:30ish but very good for complimentary!

What a great Hotel! Would be a great place for a family to come to. Loved the pool side rooms. A lIttle difficult to get to but worth the effort.

We arrived at night, slept, then took off early the next morning. It suited our purpose well, but almost wish we could have stayed longer. There seemed like there was a lot to do there-pool, bar area, ping pong table, etc. in the lobby area.

My husband and I had a nice night away, walking to a local sports bar. Enjoyed our dinner and drinks and then could just walk back to our hotel. Comfortable stay.

Was very very pleased. Our room was quite large and comfortable. The hotel was lovely, our breakfast was good and fresh. Would definetly stay again.

Our stay was from 1-5 to 1-8-12 We were very pleased with our stay here. Wished that we could have stayed longer. The only problem I had was the bed was a little hard, but that could have been because both shoulders and right leg was very sore. Had to see the fmaily Dr tuesday and had between both sholders and rt knee to equal at least 10. Can say the couch was just rightt for sleepong. Thank you for the time and pleasure for letting us stay in your place. Must not forget the help, the were very nice and very helpfull. Thanks again for letting us stay witu jou, Marfy R

I have stayed at this hotel on 2 separate occasions in the past 3 months. The hotel staff was nice but didn't go out of their way. Construction was still being done but did not affect my stay. The rooms are decent and spacious for 2-3 people. Overall it was a good hotel at a good price. I would stay here again if I were in the area and needed a good hotel.

We found this motel on line which was very convenient --I called for reservations--rates were very reasonable--also convenient--as this was an unplanned trip--unfortunately we were going up for my aunts funeral. The motel room and linens were all very clean. Close to my Aunts house, funeral home, and resturants. Breakfast in mornings had an array of doughnuts, muffins, ect. I will definitly stay at Howard Johnsons when ever we need to travel.

The hotel was currently under construction and the website did not specify. The carpet and ceiling in the hallways had heavy water damage that looked as if no one made an attempt to clean it up. I stayed there last year and really enjoyed the hotel and what they had to offer. Unfortunately, I expected the same thing this time.

The room was clean but the AC was not working properly and the plumbing was not working properly, but they are in the midst of a renovation project.

The hotel facilities looked nice, but our room was in desparate need of a renovation. The toilet never fully flushed (gross) and the entire bathroom looked like it had to be original fixtures from when the hotel was built (1970's?) We were on the 4th floor and our window wouldn't totally close, so we could hear people yelling in the parking lot as if they were right next to our window. Luckily, there was no yelling after midnight and before 7am. We arrived late (a little after 11pm), so we didn't complain about the window or toilet. We just slept and left early in the morning. The price for a family of 4 staying 1 night was very cheap and now I know why.

no complaints outside of the worst television station selection i've ever seen

This hotel was very disappointing. The room had a no smoking sign which made me wonder if you could smoke somewhere else. I asked at the end of the next day and found a whole floor is designated to smokers. Then the room we stayed in was not the cleanest at all. Instead of staying to see the sights, we left. Breakfast was not appealing. I did not let my son swim, since too many things were not sanitized. We ate out. Had coffee out. The manager for the next day offered to fix everything but you cannot do a building in one day. We slept and left; had breakfast elsewhere. I did let him know what to look for so that they can fix there issues. But we were not going to touch their items at this time. Age was not the cause. He was very apologetic, I brought him to see the unsanitary condition of the room and explained about other unsanitary issues. He offered a refund, that helped but as I said we left.
