Sheraton Washington Hotel North - בלטסוויל

We had come to MD for my niece's graduation from Pittsburgh, PA. The event started at 4pm and it was close to the hotel, thank goodness! We arrived at 4pm and it was a line of 3-4 people getting ready to check in. To Everyone of us, was told our room wasn't ready yet. Everyone was disappointed and decided to wait in the lobby. I asked the clerk if the check in was at 3pm for that hotel as they advertise on line. The clerk answer was that it was a 3pm the check in but it was not warranties the room will be ready by that time and the maids were clean them up as we speak but he didn't know the time they will be ready. I told him that I never heard of something like that and my husband suggested to change in the lobby's bathroom for the event. Nothing was suggested for the clerk to ease up our situation. We came back to the hotel by 1 am and I made the comment to the new clerk about our situation earlier, but she didn't respond. I had booked a king size bed, but instead we got a 2 double beds, which by that time, we were grateful we had a clean room. I understand that sometimes things happen that are out of our hands, but you need to prepare your staff to have easy way to make the guests situation comfortable. I would have recommend to come back to that hotel again because the convenient location, the room was very clean and comfortable, but I'm afraid this is a common way this hotel have to deal with situations like the one happen to us.

Nice room, reasonably priced. Good selection of channels for all ages and interests. Restaurant had great food - baked wings and an avocado dip that was spicy and great. Service staff were terrific.

The hotel itself is good and clean. However, the security of their parking lot needs to be improved. There is no security camera or any other security device or personnel in the parking lot. There were 7 cars with their windows broken up during one night and the hotel cannot do anything to prevent it from happening again. The security in this hotel needs to be greatly enhanced.

The lobby set higher expectations than the room and food service had to offer. The price was right, but the TV and bath towels were below average as was breakfast which we did not finish. A great place to rest along a trip but not a hotel that makes you want to experience what it has to offer v

This room had one of the most comfortable beds and great pillows. I have back problems and the bed in hotels are generally very uncomfortable. This was one of the best nights sleep I had ever had in a hotel.

I stayed one night. The gym seemed nice and well-equipped, but I didn't use it. 15 minute drive to the subway to DC. Hotel was clean and well maintained. It always bugs me when they charge for wifi.

All went well. The only problem was that cold air came pouring in around the heater on the wall and the room was pretty cold even with the heater running. I mentioned this to the folks at the desk at check out. Otherwise it was very nice,

We just happened across this hotel on a road trip and were very happy to have found it. Our room was spacious and warm and had everything we needed. We unexpectedly had to stay an extra night and were able to buy popcorn in the hotel lobby, pop it in our microwave, and watch a movie to pass the time. Lots of restaurants close by, and room service was good too. The only drawbacks would be the extra charges for internet and lack of a good free tv channel for little kids. We did the club floor option which had a decent light breakfast, and bottles of water available all day plus cookies at night.

Booked this hotel based on reviews from past guests. This hotel is not an idea location unless you have to be close to it. I stayed on the Club floor to take part in the perks, but there were no perks. The hotel room was very small and the beds were not what I expected. I stayed in the CT Sheraton and the beds were magnificent as well as the club room. This hotel was not impressive at all. If you enjoy perks as I do, this isn't the hotel for you. If you need a nice place to sleep then it's sufficient.

My boyfriend and I live in different states and decided to meet up here. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and the hotel itself was nice, clean and was very easy to get to as it's right off of the highway. I would definitely stay here again.

It is a beautiful hotel and the staff could not be nicer. Check-in was a breeze and the room was very clean and nicely appointed. The only thing I didn't like was the evening shift manager rebuking an employee at the front desk in my presence. That should never happen.

Everything perfect, the bathroom was a little old, thats my only beef with this place. Aside from that really good staff and the rooms were very comfy.

Usually I stay a little closer to my office, but that hotel was booked. The food and drink from room service was above par and the bed was fabulous! I will definitely book there again. I travel to Beltsville, MD, about once a month.

Through my entire two night stay, housekeeping did not once visit my room. They didn't bother the come change the towels or bring new ones, clean the room and bathroom, or empty the trash. If anything, they could've clean the bathroom and empty the trash, but they didn't! Also, their Internet was very slow and would lose connection every 5 minutes. I was very disappointed and would not recommend this hotel at all.

We had a crew of five from our documentary group stay here. It was very convenient and was a nice hotel. The only problem was the door to our room was broken two nights in a row that we returned so we could never go in and out with our keys. For our trouble, they gave us free breakfast. Not a bad trade!

It was pretty good. A little disappointed that the restaurant wasn't opened all day. Also, would have liked a good place to eat within walking distance. Places nearby were so-so. Hotel was beautiful and staff friendly and knowledgeable.

Great hotel with all the amenities you would expect from a 4 star facility, and it was close to the UM football stadium, so it me all our needs at a great price. Thanks Hotels.com

Good however someone was smoking next to us which was really annoying and could hear traffic on major highway near hotel.

mattress was a little soft but overall it was pleasant

Room was comfortable and clean, the club room was a waste of time and money. Do not pay the extra for this as it provided bare essentials.

I liked my room. However, the maids made a lot of noise while cleaning the rooms early in the morning.They kept waking me up before I actually needed to wake up. I was really tired before my business meetings in the morning and angry!

The hotel is strategically located for easy access to major arteries around DC. It is the first exit traveling from the Beltway towards Baltimore on I95. It is located on a private business that is shares with a Move Theater and an office building. There is plenty of parking. The rooms are somewhat dated. They are decent size and comfortable, but they are starting to show their age. The beds are extremely comfortable. I don't know what type they are, but I want one. The bathrooms have no fans. High Speed wireless is available in the Lobby, but to get it in your room you need to give your CC to AT&T. We were able to access the wireless router free from our room for a few days, but the connection was intermittent. The fitness center was good, not great. It served my needs well though. They provide plastic cups in the rooms, which are a pet peeve of mine. They had cable and provided Showtime, which also was good enough for us. We did not eat at the hotel, although they had a dining facility. They had an outdoor pool that was small, but not too small. I don't know about an indoor pool. The hotel cleaning personnel and the hotel staff were very courteous.

I have stayed here many times and it is a good hotel for the area. Other competition are the nearby Hilton Garden Inn and Courtyard. I found the rooms facing the highway to by noisey. The even numbered rooms are quieter and rooms endiing in 13 are next to noisy ice machines. Rooms 13-16 are next to the elevator.

I have stayed her many times before. It is clean, convienent and usually a good value for the area. Beds are very comfortable. Bathroom has a bath. Free parking. They say internet is not free, but it was for me this time. Maybe they have changed their policy. Breakfast is not free and the hot breakfast is not worth the money. I was given an un-washed coffee cup which I sent pack. Rooms do NOT have central air like some Sheratons and nosie from the highway is apparent. Other contenders in the area include the Comfort Inn across the street and a nearby Hilton Gardens and Residence Inn and Courtyard. These hotels are better than those near College Park and are quieter as well.

This Sheraton was a little run down, not as clean and updated as I expected. However, it seemed to vary from room to room. Friends I traveled with were upgraded to a very nice suite. I had to change rooms as I was first put right next to the elevator (and it's loud bell). My second room smelled funny and was much dingier than the first. Overall, not terrible but not great.

Best hotel I have slept in since my honeymoon. Staff,amenities, and overall great experience

everyone knows about the power outages Md. just had. the Sheraton staff made our misery turn into a comfortable and air conditioned welcome. check-in took long(an hour) but the staff made it happen. the club level was awesome says my kid. we met a few new neighbors. it was great. thanks Sheraton family. i know where i'm staying next time we have an outage.

Nice place and they have no problems about having dogs and they stay at no extra charge.

The staff was clearly overwhelmed in the aftermath of the storm that brought a glut of people to the hotel. They maintained a clear head and a good disposition throughout. The facility itself is a bit worn, but perfectly acceptable.

There were only 2 towels left in the room and after using them in the evening I called in the morning for clean towels at 7am and no one was available to get them. The hotel halls were very warm and seemed dirty.
