The staff was very nice and helpful. The bath room had stains on the ceiling and the floor. It was a old looking place.

Not much shopping to do near the hotel. Room is standard, comfortable and clean. There were some problem with hot water in the morning.

The hotel is located near the highway, convenient but not easy to find the hotel in the dark, the sign and the hotel are not illuminated. Room is clean and comfortable. Even if we are surrounded by non-smoking rooms, the hallway smell cigarette badly. The included breakfast is very poor, scrambled egg with toast and orange juice or choice of cereal.

Front desk clerk very nice. Breakfast was good and cheap - not forced to overpriced buffet. Mattress was shot. Room a bit shabby. Carpet ratty. The refrigerator wasn't turned on when I checked in. This hotel really needs a major overhaul. Very easy to get to off I-84 and plenty of budget restaurants close by.

Room was very clean and comfortable.

The hotel website advertises a complementary breakfast, but when we checked in, they gave us only a $4.00 off coupon. The buffet, which looked like a typical complementary breakfast, was $10.95 The coupon would have been nice if we had not been expecting a free breakfast. Also, this hotel has smoking rooms and the hallways really smelled of smoke on our way to our room (a non-smoking room). Our room was very nice though.

Clean, comfortable, reasonably priced and convenient to Rte 17. Excellent breakfasts, friendly bar. Will definitely stay here again when I'm in the area.

We were originally slated to stay at another hotel but their pool was under repair. This was a decent but more expensive alternative. Although it was stated to include breakfast, instead it was a voucher that only covered part of it. There was also considerable hall noise.

The hotel was out of date and in major need of a renovation. No free breakfast? Come on ! At this price range, it should be expected!

I expected better from a Holiday Inn. Person at the main desk acted as he couldn't be bothered. Asking for a bag for the small wastepaper basket in my room, I was handed a large green 20 gallon trash bag. Room had dirty areas. Room to room phone service did not work. 2 lamps had bulbs that did not work. Really disappointed in service!

nice rooms updated and clean. Wi Fi no signal in my room. Been staying there over the years when i need to go back home and this was the nicest room. love the updated rooms... pillows horrible.

Large room great access to roads

The room was damp at 1st floor and smelled smoke with ash tray despite of non smoking room. Dinner was decent. Staffs were fine.

WE HAVE STAYED AT THIS HOTEL MANY TIMES IN THE PAST. WE WERE DISAPPOINTED THAT THEY NO LONGER HAVE THE BAVARIAN RESTAURANT AND THE BAR NO LONGER HAD A LIQUOR LICENSE.

The website contradicts itself. At first it shows that breakfast is complimentary, then it states that you receive a $4 voucher towards food. The room service food was hot & tasty. Too much dressing on the salad but it tasted good. The buffet was not worth going to. The coffee was good, the potatoes were hot. The rest was lukewarm and not appealing at all. There were not many choices either. The waffles were limp but did taste good. A shame that they were not hot. I refused to pay the balance on the bill. I gave the waitress all of my vouchers and said I would not return to eat there again. I was not rude but factual. At checkout my bill showed a balance from the restaurant. The front desk employee took care of it. The pool was nice but needed cleaning as the walls were visibly dirty.

we were told when we booked our room that we would have a complimentary breakfast. We were traveling with my 2 year old granddaughter and it was important that we could eat something before we left for home and not have to put her in and out of the car. There was no complimentary breakfast......the cost of the room was over the top and I was told it was a discounted price. We were really snookered.....I won't stay at a Holiday Inn again.

Stayed one night, in the area on business. This hotel has updated rooms which are nice. The bed was comfortable and the room clean & quiet. The front desk personnel were very efficient. Convenient for my stay, the restaurant and bar in the hotel make thus a very convenient, comfortable place to stay.

This is where we always stay when going to Middletown. It's quiet and lots of space in the room.

Clean room, could use some maintenance work, but overall it was a good stay, quiet, and good location

This was a great alternative to where we usually stay which was booked. I would reccommend this hotel anyday despite my small issues. 99% of our stay was great. Only two things bothered me: 1. The front desk staff at check out-one person was helping us while another was popping her gum and on a cell call. 2. We had gotten in around 2 am after a long Thanskgiving day with the family. We were on the top floor. The next morning at 9 am, they started working on the roof directly above us. It sounded like they were in the room. They did stop after we called. But common sense would be to start that after check out time.

Room was very clean- bathroom was fairly clean BEDS WERE COMFORTABLE Halls not so clean Breakfast buffet was OK Conveniently located to highway and to malls etc Major complaint- noisy at night- room was over the entrance to the facility on second floor- beeping noise was incessant

We wouldn't want hotel housekeepers to do their jobs barefooted, but there are certain things they'd notice if they did. In the case of the room I stayed in, my bare feet immediately detected a significant amount of moisture on the floor alongside the bed I was about to get into. I'm wondering now whether that phenomenon was connected to the air conditioner being on full blast when I got to my room at 9 p.m,, and the heavy smell of air freshener?? And the next morning my bare feet discovered a couple of stick places elsewhere in the carpet. Yukk. Nice hotel, nice room, but from now on I'm packing and wearing slippers!

The hotel is run-down! Dirty, smelly und rude staff! Do not spend so much money for a room like this!

I stay here frequently on business, and have always enjoyed the hotel and its conveniences, but normally have strayed-away from hotel restaurants. This one is great! I small German restaurant with great food. I have ordered from the restaurant, and from the bar when the restaurant was closed, and both times, it was great German food!

We have stayed at this hotel about 10 times. We stay there when we visit my husbands brother. We have always been satisfied. This time, however, we were not totally happy. The toilet bowl had mildew lines from the rim running into the water. Wonder if the maids have a toilet bowl brush! Breakfast was not good. No fruit, only empty bowl. No pasteries like they usually have. Waitress did not remove our empty plates from the table. Beds are small (full size) & hard. The front desk staff was wonderful. Very friendly & accomodating.

Clean with a delish breakfast. Definately recommend!!

The hotel was crowded and we were given a smoking room. The bedsheets had burn spots. Otherwise the room was clean and the staff was friendly, particularly room service. It has a nice outside pool and the room service meals were tasty. It is in a good location, off highway 17.

the room was very clean and neat the bad maid tried to let her self in in the am. free breakfast sucked

Our accommodations were wonderful. We have nothing but favorable comments about the Holiday Inn in Middletown. Our room was clean, comfortable and provided everything we needed. We enjoyed the indoor pool and had it all to ourselves. We had a very good dinner in the dining room and breakfast the next morning was also great. Any staff member we met was courteous and friendly. All of this helped in that we were staying there for the wake and funeral of my niece and our stay there made the situation more bearable. Thank you. We would recommend this place to anyone.

Very nice hotel, very helpful desk staff. Everything was clean and organized. The Hotel has a lot to offer and is very close to a town with a lot to do if you are bored in your down time. Pool access seems a lil strict/weird, but other than that was a flawless visit

As I travel on business, I stay at this hotel on a regular basis. Prices are reasonable, and the room is clean, quiet, and comfortable. It is also close to restaurants and shopping. Also, in the many times i stated there, I have never ate at the restaurant (not crazy about hotel restaurants), but on this occasion I did, and was pleasantly surprised. It is a German restaurant, and was very delicious!
