Woman at the front desk was rude. Room was fine. Definitely dated. There are no creeks, no deer, (as other websites might suggest). You have to drive into town to eat but it isn't far. The window had condensation buildup so we couldn't see out. The bed was so old and soft we BOTH rolled into each other (which wasnt a bad thing) but woke up with backaches. This room was by far the worst. No free breakfast unless you book directly through them which they inform you of when checking out via an obnoxious piece of paper that also compares them to other places around Estes. Not cool. They really should treat all guests alike no matter how they secure their booking. This paper fails to list no breakfast included unless...no micro, no fridge, no comfortable beds, no updated accommodations, etc. I'm not expecting the Stanley, but if THEY are going to compare themselves, they should be ready to defend it. There's a reason they are not and cannot command the price and thats fine. The hotel room was nice and clean. The shower head was a very nice Moen. Pool area is pretty nice but completely overrun by kids. If you have kids, great, if not, the hot tub is right next to the pool so, get ready to fill up the tub in your room with hot water cuz you're gonna need it after sleeping on that bed!

Rooms were clean, quiet, and perfect for our needs.

When we got back to our room after walking around the town, the room was very musty smelling making all three of us very allergic, the only other room they said was available was a good 15 minute walk with all our luggage and no help. The bathroom was very dirty with stains throughout. I don't recommend this restaurant at all.

It was ok the staff was friendly but most hotel offer at least a free Danish or something for breakfast where this one does not me and my son where disapointed.

Terrible bed and pillows....terrible! The hallways also smelled like sewer.

At first we thought the staff were a bit off-hand when we arrived, but they were busy. Later when we needed some help - particularly finding somewhere to repair my laptop, they were incredibly good, helpful and friendly. I got my computer fixed, and the deputy manager made the phone calls and helped tremendously. Location is slightly out of town, but easily walkable. The restaurant meal we had one night was fine, but not enough choice to persuade us to go more than once. Overall a really good place to stay, especially in this price range.

Great value, large rooms, comfortable beds.

This was a comfortable place to stay. We were pleasantly surprised with the pool area that the hotel had to offer. Nicely located in Estes Park!

The hotel worked well for our needs. We were hiking at RMNP and the location was good. The hotel was what I would expect for the cost. The only slight complaint I would have would be that the pool in the center makes it a bit loud. Music played in the center until after ten and we had planned on sleeping early to be fresh for our hike the next day. The hotel was okay though. The staff I encountered were very nice. A suggestion might be to provide a place for smokers far from all entrances as smokers stood too close to entrances and the smell was awful to have to walk through each time we entered.

It was a nice experience.

The hotel overall was good, clean, comfortable and peaceful, but the wifi service was so radically unstable that it kind of ruined it for me. I needed to get some work done that should have taken me about 30 minutes, instead since the wifi was so unreliable and kept booting me off, it took me 2 hours. If you don't care or don't need wifi on your stay, this hotel is more than suitable.

Overall it was ok. Probably would not use it again. Had odors in elevator and hallway.

The Hotel was amazing from the view on. The only thing we didn't lime was the 4pm check in then when we got there at 4pm the system was rebooting and we had to wait another half an hour to check in.

WE enjoyed the hotel and the friendly staff.

Liked the rooms and the vicinity.

The hotel was clean and the location was great to go to Rocky Mountain National Park. Needs freshening up. The restaurant attached was not worth eating at. We got in late and thought restaurant was convenient but now wish we would have gone elsewhere.

Clean enough but the beds were horrible. We even tried two different rooms but we sank to the center of each bed. No complimentary breakfast. Hotel rooms need updating. Pool was nice enough and extra deep.

My girlfriend and I stayed here during the spring jazz festival and art walk. The condition of our wing could have been better: the ice machine looked to be permanently out of order from the sign, there were constantly housekeeping carts in the hallway, and the hallways seemed dark. But the price was right, our room was pleasant and clean, and we were within walking distance of everywhere we went over the course of the weekend.

Overall it was a good stay. They booked my room after I was already checked in to someone else and that person actually came in my room while I was in it. The hotel tried to charge me a 3 day pet fee ($45) and 3 day roll away bed fee ($45) even though i had no pets or extra guests. They quickly resolved this issue upon checkout.

THE WHIRLPOOL (JACUZZI) WALLS NEEDED CLEANING, AND THERE WAS UNREPAIRED DAMAGE TO THOSE SAME WALLS. OTHER THAN THAT, EVERYTHING WAS GREAT AT THE HOTEL.

The Rocky Mountain Park Inn sounds a lot fancier than it is -- it's not an "inn" at all, just a standard hotel, nothing special. If you're just looking for a place to lay your head after a day of hiking or being in the outdoors, it's ideal. Reasonable, comfortable, clean. A convenient location relative to the town and the national park; easy in and out, and ample parking. The room we stayed in was small, but the beds are very comfy, the TV was nice (with lots of channel options), and the bathroom was roomy and clean (lots of towels provided). We got takeout from the bar/restaurant downstairs -- you have to go pick it up, they don't deliver room service. We didn't make use of the pool or hot tub, but they have both and they looked great. Basically, if you want to enjoy the national park (or even the town of Estes Park) and don't need a glamorous hotel to go home to at the end of the night, this place is perfect. No frills, just a good place to take a sleep.

We had never been to Estes before. This hotel is extremely family friendly. We chose a room overlooking the pool. It was very clean and the beds were comfy. The room did smell a little like chlorine and was a bit stuffy, but it was perfect for the kids. The balcony was great to hang out and watch the kids have fun. There is a nice little gym and plenty of pool tables and foozeball. The restaurant is mediocre at best. The lounge was nice with an excellent bartender named Cory. If you want food cross the street for great authentic Mexican food. This hotel is in a great location! It isn't new by any means, but if you are looking for something reasonably priced and perfect to entertain kids even in snowy weather this is a fantastic option.

Went down for the stanley film festival. . stayed one night .was very close to resturants and the stanley hotel.. staff was very nice, comfortable beds and very clean ..would stay again. great location..

This hotel is not fancy and it is not a dump. It's a place to stay. We stayed in the off season early May, so less people is equal to less noise. I don't know if I would stay during peak times because the walls are thin, but I do know that the hotel is near downtown and the RMSP! Clean beds and towels, yes you can smell the bleach. Not bad and not great... Just a place to stay!

My family had a wonderful time. We will stay here again.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Extremely clean well appointed room with great free wifi connection. After staying in several different hotels/motels during my road trip this one definitely the best especially for the low price deal I got.

Nice sized rooms, clean, updated, good view. Pool/hottub/recreation area very nice. Pool tables, foosball, good sound system around pool area. Only negatives were a strong chlorine odor in hallways (on 2nd floor anyway) from the indoor pool and hot tub. Wasn't noticeable in rooms. Room keys stopped working a day before checkout. Minor inconvenience to have re-keyed at front desk.

Staff was very helpful and nice. Hotel is getting on in years but once in the room, it was fairly modern. Elevator was slow, slow, slow.

Went to this hotel for a weekend getaway with my daughter and husband. The weather was snowy and cold, so we spent most of our time in the awesome pool! Our room was clean and comfortable, and provided all the amenities we needed. The hotel was close to town, shopping and restaurants. The check in was quick, and when we requested a late check out, it was granted easily. We felt this was a GREAT value for a lovely weekend.

I was visiting my Dad and his wife at Prospect Park Living Center and it was very convenient to them. My room needed more light in it and the phones disconnected calls if you moved the base of the phone. I would have much preferred a breakfast menu to the buffet which was not very good. Other than that it was fine for what I needed.

There were a few stains in the carpet of my room, but was otherwise was very clean. The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

We visit Estes Park a several times a year, this hotel allows dogs and we bring our kids and our little dog. The rooms are clean, the pool is nice, and we can sit outside the room and watch the kids swim. It is clean, (a bit dated) the location is great and it is quiet and staff is friendly!

Had everything we needed for a 48 hour vacation.

Th eoverall experience was great. Our room was clean an very comfortable. The staff was very professional. The restaurant has good food. The only reason I give 2 stars for comfort of the room was the one downfall of our 2 night stay- parents letting their kids run up and down the long hallway screaming at the top of their lungs up until midnight... both nights. Not the hotels fault, so overall I give the hotel 5 stars.
