The hotel is located close to a couple chain restaurants (TGI Fridays's, Joe's Crab Shack, etc.) and also near a Target. The room would have been great, but I thought the sheets were scratchy, and a little uncomfortable.

Very comfortable. Easy access to downtown Philadelphia. Only wish it had continental breakfast included.

My credit was charged $187.00 extra because They decided to make a mistake and charge me again for the room that I already paid for plus the $50 security deposit. I was very upset.

good place. appreciated the shuttle that took us to our party in manayunk.what would have made it better was not having to pay extra to have microwave or refrigerator in room

I expected a nicer room from Crown Plaza. Hallways leading to my room were dingy. My bathroom floor looked like it needed mopping and the carpet needing shampooing. The tv reception was a little fuzzy. Overall the hotel was okay for the money I paid, but I expected a nicer room for 4 stars. The free parking, free lemonade in the lobby, and comfy bed were the few pros.

I booked this hotel because this was the only decent price for the 31st of december.. and i bragged to my friends that i booked the Crown Plaza hoping this would feel like a luxury hotel... but it was very disappointing.. the carpets and the interior of the room was like a motel with better beds...

I was put on a women's only floor that had some extra security measures and only had female staff work on it for security and peace of mind as a female traveling alone. First time I have seen that. It was very nice and reassuring.

I would have rated this hotel as a 5 if the food was better, the rooms were quieter and if they did a better job redirecting the parking during the resealing process of their parking lot.

The hotel was under renovations during my stay. It was clean, however the room had an old musty smell The updates were good but not a wow.The location was close to the airport, sights and good restaurants.The front desk employees were very pleasant and helpful which is the reason I would stay there again.

We had a nice time, it was close enough to the city and they are very helpful at the front desk. I wish we would have known about the concert that weekend before we booked, but that was our fault. There were some rooms that were very loud at 3 am but it was taken care of when I called the front desk.

The staff is very professional and welcoming.I've stayed here before and will always do so again!

Nice hotel. Very impressed with the fact that they had computers for the patrons to use. However i was a little shocked when I was told I had to pay 10 bucks for a mini fridge?

Probably the best bet for the area, but I have stayed at nicer Comfort Inns. I expected more from the Crowne Plaza, and for the price. The place really needs a facelift. The staff were superb- from the front desk to the very nice brunch.

Stayed at hotel for four nites including 4th Shuttle service very good and obliging dropped us to Art Galleries & in for fireworks. Local Bus stops outside hotel taxi fare from Philly to hotel $20. TGI's also beside hotel. Excellent leisure centre and pool staff very promt on check in even though we were a little early. Definitely stay again

The staff are absolutely wonderful! The hotel is perfect as a pied a terre for any parent with a child at Philly U. I'll be back many times through the next four years if this stay was an example of what I'll encounter.

Pros: good, professional service, nice pool, affordable breakfast package. Cons: beds comfortable but too small for two people, poor ac system went on and off during the night. Neighborhood disturbance at night.

We really enjoyed the Crowne Plaza. The room was clean and when we asked for an extra towel it was brought up promptly. The only "negative" was the fan going off when on auto. It was kind of loud but if we turned it off the room would get stuffy. People were very nice.

Overall I was happy with the room. The bed was great. The hair dryer did not work in the room, but they did bring us a new one right away.

We wanted a fun couples night out in Manayunk and this was the closest Hotel. We have done this before a few months ago and stayed at the Hilton on City Avenue just a block down the road. Both hotels charge about the same and both look very nice but the Crown Plaza has parking right out front versus the Hilton where you need to valet park or park in an empty lot down the road and walk uphill to the hotel. Keep in mind the neighborhood is not the best for late night walks. Another comparison was that while both Hotels have nice well appointed rooms it seems the Hilton has paper thin walls. We were woken up to a woman in the next room planning her day on the telephone. She was not yelling, just talking in a regular voice but is sounded like she was in our room. This is the place to stay in you are in the area. Trust me...

Not exactly what I expected. Rough neighborhood.

Overall the hotel stay was ok; the room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the staff was nice. However, there were just so many things that made it harder than it should be. The parking lot, as others have said, was full. Except the hotel as plenty of parking behind it but it is unsigned so you don't know it until you're inside and complain. My confirmed reservation was for two double beds (there are 4 of us) but reception said they had none left, until I complained and one magically appeared. The following evening, after a full day out, we returned to find our electronic room keys wiped. After getting new keys we entered a room that hadn't been cleaned (6pm). It took two calls to get someone to clean it. At checkout, the bill for the previous night's dinner was more than we'd signed a receipt for. When I asked to see the receipt from the previous night, they couldn't find it. Frustrating is the word I'd use; not unpleasant but annoying.

I will definitely be returning. The hotel is conveniently located to Drexel and the staff is friendly, efficient and very helpful.

The hotel was nice and the staff was pleasant. The problem was hotel key did not work had to go all the way to the front desk; 12 am in morming to receive new key. Also, the tub drained slowly and the sink was clogged.

Very bad smell of smoking in the "non-smoking" room, especially in the bathroom. Worn-out hotel. Needs a renovation ASAP

Our biggest complaint is the extremely thin walls. We heard everything our neighbors did, including: snoring, coughing, sneezing, using the bathroom, flushing the toilet, watching tv, their crying baby, their baby sneezing, and their conversations. I have never stayed in such a poorly constructed room. Management refused to comp any portion of our stay the next morning. When asked to speak to the general manager and not the desk manager, we were told we would receive a phone call but never did. Location is bad with limited parking and lack of exterior lighting. Neighborhood is extremely loud and you can hear everything through the window. I will never ever stay at this nor any related establishment again. You've been warned.
