Very comfortable but I was VERY disappointed that there was no continental breakfast offered.

I was given a access key to an occupied room. It quickly escalated into a heated situation by the occupied guests. Frightening experience. I will not be using that hotel again.

Away from the road construction on 820.

I got stuck in Dallas due to weather on the east coast causing an unexpected overnight stay. I booked very last-minute and got a decent rate. The shuttle bus was a little disappointing - when I called from the airport to request it, I got transferred and put on hold about six times and it took quite awhile to show up (this was on a Thursday night). However, the driver was very nice and even offered to call ahead to the hotel for another passenger to make sure she and her kids could place a room service order before the kitchen closed for the night. The check-in process was easy, the room was clean, the bed was VERY comfortable, my room on the second floor was quiet and there's a Starbucks right in the lobby. There were no challenges catching the shuttle to the airport in the morning and it took maybe 5 minutes to get there and be dropped off. Overall, my stay here helped make up for the nightmare of a travel day I'd had and if I'm ever stuck in Dallas again, I'd have no problem booking another room at this hotel.

Area was clean & customer service was friendly.

The room was very nice, bed comfortable and soft. The TV reception on some channels was not very good but overall it was not bad. I would stay again and wouldn't have a problem recommending it to others.

Staff is exceptional! Room was very comfortable and very clean. I will recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area or flying out of DFW.

I spent 18 nights in 7 hotels booked through this website and this was the most disappointing hotel on the trip. Waited 1 hour for hotel courtesy shuttle at airport after phoning hotel!

Everything was good except for the shower. The shower sporatically went from freezing cold to scalding hot while showering.

I expected much more from a Doubletree. It is extremely outdated. The bathroom is tiny. You can barely shut the door. The vanity area is tiny, as well, and only one person can squeeze in there. The room was average. The service personnel were very friendly. The room was clean. We arrived back at the hotel at 3:00 pm and they still had not cleaned our room so we just got fresh towels and did not have it cleaned. The restaurant had good food and service, as did the bar.

You would think a hotel that is priced at this rate would be better maintained. The television controller was hard to work, the 2 main lights in the room would not turn on, the refrigerated hummed loud enough to keep you awake and the duck system was so loud it sounded like a large fan turning on and off in your ear. I could have stayed in a Super 8 and gotten the same poor nights sleep for 1/4 the price.

wasnt thrilled at all, front desk messed up the reservation, or there was miscommuncation between hotels.com and them and it took 2 hours to sort. then the lobby smelled like weed.

The service was great and the rooms were reasonably priced. The airport shuttle was a great service and was on time. I recommend this hotel if you are flying in or out of DFW.

When we arrived we had booked 2 double beds. We went to our room and the room wasn't clean. Trash in the trash can, used kleenex, broken toilet seat, and no luggage rack. I also had requested a roll away that wasn't there. I called down to the front desk and was told no one from housekeeping was there until 11 pm that night and he couldn't bring us a roll away to use. I told him, Lance, about the room conditions and he immediately moved us to two rooms with a kingsize bed in each. Those rooms were both clean and useable. The only issue I had was our rooms were the last two at the end of the hall 521 & 523. at the end of the hall all of the used towels from the days cleaning crew were in a HUGE pile next to our rooms. They were dirty, wet, & smelly. It definetly didn't represent a hotel, Double Tree Hotel, that took pride in their hotel to me and really turned us off.

My overall stay was great. My key cards was ready when i got there. I partied hard new years eve and the front desk was nice enough to give me a late check out at 2pm. The hotel is a bit far but worth the view of watching the airplanes take off from the airport.

Great service and clean room

Stayed here for NYE with my wife. Great hotel for the money! We live in the area but would definitely stay again if needed.

I do not believe I received my money's worth at this hotel. The location is close to the airport, however, the cleanliness and overall appearance of the hotel is very skewed in the pictures. Given the other options of hotels in the area, I would in the future, choose otherwise.

I was very disappointed in this stay. On check in they did not have any cookies(which is doubletree's signature), checkin was rushed with a feeling of hurry get to your room because I have more important things to do. Getting to the room the disappointment did not stop. Carpeting was dirty(looked like it had been there for 10 years), had stains everywhere. The leather chair in the room was revolting. The leather was peeling off everywhere, and it looked as if they found this chair on the side of the road and put it in the room. Overall, this was a bad experience and I would recommend avoiding this location until it gets overhauled. Now, my room was on the first floor, which in my experience is where the worst rooms are. The only plus is the transportation. They were very prompt at picking you up, which in dfw is very hard to do. Basically,unless you get a great deal, don't stay here.

Fantastic rate for a Hilton property.

It was terrific to find such nice people, such a comfortable room, and such reliable shuttle service when I was unexpectedly stuck in Dallas overnight on Christmas Eve. It's next door to a Denny's, too! Great airport hotel.

This is the 2nd time I've stayed at the Double Tree in Dallas, the staff was exceptional, rooms were extremely clean, stocked, and very spacious. The bed was very very comfortable, & had an abundance of pillows... Even the bar was open til 11pm on Xmas eve =) The only fault I found, was that the reception on the television was HORRIBLE...just like my 1st stay. I gave notice to the receptionist when I checked out, & she was very courteous, apologetic, & said she would let someone know immediately.... well it didnt happen this time around, cuz the TV was still shot. Other than that, it was worth the price I paid for my stay.

Housekeeping came at about 2 pm. The baby was asleep, so I asked if they could come back about 4pm. They said yes, but never returned. I didn't bother to call. Other than that, it was a great stay at a great price. Everyone was courteous. The breakfast is expensive if not included in the price. About $17.00.

My wife and myself enjoyed our stay at the hotel. My wife did mention that she had some trouble sleeping because of the noise coming thru the wall and I will say, yes, the walls seem to be a bit thin, nonetheless, it was comfortable and staff was friendly and accomodating. The hotel restaurant is nothing to rave about but doesn't dissapoint either, however you would get more bang for your buck finding a location elsewhere, but is nice if you came in late and don't feel like driving aroud to find a place to eat.

The young lady @ the restaurant , was very nice, her service was great!
