The hotel is wonderful!! The staff was friendly and customer service excellent!

My main complaint was many of the representation were not accurate. There is no longer spa pool. There was a pool and workout area and when I called because out of towels Shelves restocked in 30 minutes. There are not fold out sofa beds I'm all the rooms. Perhaps some but not represented as such. Staff brought a roll away bed. But the room is smaller then imagined. Breakfast included meant $20 credit to a $60 breakfast bill. No remote. Called front desk and arrived 15 minutes. Hallway on 4th floor by elevators smell badly.

Clean, convenient, restaurant and bar (welcome back to the 80's bigtime). In the middle of an industrial area between airport and a train but noise was not an issue. Airport shuttle runs every 20 minutes starting at 3:00AM. I will stay there again for its convenience if nothing else.

The price made sense when I checked in! The hotel is undergoing major remodeling. If you mind running into barricades and dry wall every where, you should wait until they are done. The room was clean and comfortable.

The rooms were clean and nicely appointed, but smelled slightly musty, like water damage. (We had reservations here at the beginning and end of our trip.) The building was being renovated in the common areas, and I asked if the guest rooms would be next. (Because of the smell.) They told me that all of the guest rooms had already been renovated. They had a clean restaurant onsite, but we ordered oatmeal. It tasted like charcoal, like someone burnt the bottom of the pot, and we couldn't eat it. The bill still came for the toast, juice and coffee for two, less the oatmeal: $40!

Very good; pet friendly

If you want a good nights sleep be VERY careful what room you get in this hotel. On one stay we were fine but on Oct 30, 2012 we are arrived from east coast at 2 am EST and flopped into bed only to be awaken 15 mins later by what sounded like a freight train coming thru our room. Room windows were obsolete and room location was overlooking train tracks and a major highway with 24 hour traffic.

The reason I booked this hotel was because of its 7 min drive to the airport.The entire lobby area was under construction -- so it was very inconvenient. Call and check to find out if the construction projects are completed before you book your stay. I also got a room that someone had been smoking in, so make sure to be clear about getting a non-smlking room when you check in.

Motel under construction. Located in industrial area, no restaurants close by. Difficult entrance. Found bed bug on my body before shower, horrified!! Interior and exterior of building being rennovated.

This hotel is really off the beaten path and hard to find. I was disappointed to find that when I got to the hotel that it is under construction so it was impossible to find parking and what parking I did find was very far from the front door which was re-routed due to the remodeling. I got a workout just carrying my luggage to the front desk.

Located in an industrial area. Hotel is not very clean. Staff/mgr not friendly. No complementary breakfast like most Holiday inn expresses. Construction next to rooms - starts at 8am - 8pm. Noisy. Not going back to this one.

We stayed here for the weekend in for a business conference and it was a very comfortable stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Beds were a little soft for my liking but that is a personal preference, nothing to do with the quality of the hotel. Would recommend it!

Not a good location, although its close to the airport.

perfect place to stay before leaving from Portland Airport

Quick trip to Portland ... location was very convenient to the airport. Shuttle service was absolutely perfect and reliable !!! Room service food was excellent and fast. Overall good experience and would stay here again....Thanks

the staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Food is about average but reasonably priced. Breakfast buffet was for $10. Service could be better at times, understaffed or better organised? Bar and club were good, but closed too early.

normally this hotel is great but i was disappointed to find when using the shower the drain was plugged. And the bed was not comfortable the mattress needed to be replaced, i just got a bad room.in the past i would gice it a 4

We stayed one night here ahead of an early morning flight. The rooms are all being renovated and the decor is very modern. The beds were comfortable and they have free meals for kids if adults eat in the restaurant downstairs (a major perk!). They also have a nice pool that goes down to 6ft deep as well as a hot tub, although I wish they were together instead of in separate locations. Overall a great experience!

Only thing that really ruined the stay was the musty, smokey smell in the room. The windows are corroded shut so you can't air out the room.

This hotel was not a place that needs to be recommended to other guests. The lobby was dirty and not very clean. You would expect to be welcomed to nice setting and friendly service. The room was dirty and a USED coffee cup was left in the room. The faucets did not work very well and the floor had been not been cleaned. Overall I would not recommend this hotel at all!

Nice Hotel very close to airport.

We only had to spend one night due to an overnight flight. We needed only few good hours of sleep. But the noise from several trains passing by kept us mostly awake. Otherwise, the hotel and the room were nice and clean. The staff were very helpful and they dispatched a second airport shuttle when the first got full. But unfortunately it didn't meet our needs for a quick good sleep!

For the price I paid for this hotel I am disappointed in the shape the room was in. Glasses were taken during cleanup and not replaced and the restraunt was overpriced. Don't think I will stay here again.

We had a great stay! No airplane noise was evident!

We asked for smoke free room and althouh=gh it was located on a "Smoke Free" Flor the room reaked of smoke. The Manger willing changed our room for another.

This hotel needs extreme updating. My king bed had not support and sunk in the middle so bad, I spent the night crawling for the edges and sides. Our room was next to the railroad/transit and would shake when the train went by. Would not recommend to anyone.

I stayed her on May 9,2011. The hotel room was clean and convenient. The only gripe i had was that there were no dark blinds, just the opague ones and I was on the highway side of the hotel. Consequently it was quite light at night in the room

This hotel needs a series update. I was happy that at least the beds were updated, but the old carpeting with an odd cotton candy hallway smell, really need to be changed. This hotel is set in an industrial area, which although close to the airport, it is not the kind of location that you can go out and enjoy an nice walk or run. The staff was friendly and helpful. I picked this hotel because I needed to bring my dog with me. Pool is located in an odd area which is on the other side of the atrium where convention people are gathering. Overall, would not return.

Everything was fine. Restaurant had excellent food. Shuttle service to/from airport perfect.

We were very pleased with the hotel building and the rooms, and most of the service staff was very helpful. Unfortunately, we had chosen the hotel because when we made the reservation, they told us that we could leave our car in the parking lot for free while we were out of state. When we questioned that policy we were assured that extended parking would be free. When we got to our room and read the guest policy book, again we called the front desk to inquire about a fee for extended parking, and again we were assured that extended parking was free, however, in the morning, when we checked out, we were told that parking would be $7.00 per day while we were away, which doubled the cost of our stay. We are going to pursue the issue, but as of right now I would not stay at this Holiday Inn if I were to travel out of state again.
