Close to all we wanted. Walking distance to most things and took a tour for things further away.

Location, Location, Location... Best location. But no parking - I used the Casino (it's free if you play 30 minutes per 24hrs) I actually won so it was free parking and I took home some extra bucks ;) , it's about a 5 minute walk away but huge self parking garage.. Hotel is well run but it's old which is expected since it's an old historical building.. Breakfast was ok nice atmosphere looking at the courtyard but the waitress forgot our bill at the end which was strange.. Breakfast around the corner at Bombay Club on Conti st is much better.. Not enough power outlets in the room.. Overall good choice/price for that area.. Take the 1pm bus tour then go to the 7pm steamboat tour and take the second dinner option 7:45PM because you can listen to the tour while it's still daylight then eat just when it gets dark.. With these 2 you can do all of new orleans in one day :)

Hotel was very clean. Everyday it was immaculate. Close to Bourbon St. Only 1 block away. Safe location. Staff was very friendly. They have 24 hour armed security. Would highly recommend if staying in the French Quarter.

Had to wait til exact check-in time after calling at time of booking & requesting early check-in. Staff was great except for housekeeping & second shift front desk person. He was a little rude but better as his shift came to end. Valet was fantastic. Easy access to all French Quarter sites.

Enjoyed the hotel. Great location in the quarter and convenient to the CBD as well. Only drawback were the worst pillows ever. Pure torture. Couldn't use them.

Loved the Hotel, but the pillows are only the small sqaure ones ,so bring your own, and the lighting in the hallway is very low. Otherwise I would stay here again.

We enjoyed it very much! Other than the overly-thick, slightly uncomfortable pillows...the bed was very comfortable!

I did not really spent that much time in my room because I was out for mardi gras. The bath tub was stuck on our last morning. The hotel is in a good location. Its just seem a little old . Elevator was making weird noises too. Internet and cable was great !

Great location for a three night stay. Easy to get anywhere in French Quarter. Great staff. Quiet compared to Bourbon Street. Only drawbacks - pillows are not too comfy and bathroom is a bit dated and small. Overall, enjoyed the stay - travelling with friends in multiple rooms.

Took a trip with my friend for NYE. We stayed here 2 nights. I visit New Orleans pretty often and have stayed at many hotels. This one is at the bottom of my list. Definately not a fancy hotel. Very dated. The room was pretty small, yet fairly clean. There's barely any elbow room in the bathroom & the handle on the toilet was broken. Beds were comfortable, although the square pillows were kind of awkward to sleep on. Service was very nice and helpful. Only thing is at checkout time when I called the front desk for luggage cart, no one answered. There's a valet service that's pretty pricy, but dependable. Not sure how close the nearest parking lot is. Overall, great location because its 1 block from bourbon, but I prob wouldn't stay there again, ESP for the price we payed.

The location of this hotel made the medicrity of the room tolerable. The bed felt (and sounded) like it had a plastic mattress cover on it and it was lumpy. The coffee maker didn't work and the cleanliness of the room was a bit suspect. They still use those creepy old school bedspreads that the better hotels have discarded in favor of washable ones.

The hotel is a bit dated, bathrooms are small, and the AC needed to cool a little better....HOWEVER, overall the place was good. The service was excellent: valet and the people at the desk. I could see my vehicle was safe the entire time, because it was in a fenced in area. I will certainly stay at this hotel everytime I return to NOLA....mainly because of the location and the friendliness of the staff. The small bathrooms....well, I wasn't in there that long anyway.

I was very pleased with the quality of the hotel, but surprised and disappointed that secure parking was an extra fee per day. The staff were personable and helpful, room pleasant and clean.

I've stayed at the Chateau Lemoyne many times, and it has a great French Quarter location with affordable prices. I recommend a balcony room if you are in the mood to splurge. The room we got on this most recent stay had no view. Service at the desk and when ordering room service was excellent.

Great hotel for the price. Staff was very nice and it is close to almost everything. They even have an armed guard!

The hotel is convient to the French Quarter bed were old and needed updating. Hotels had many parties going on

The hotel and staff were great but we hated the small square bed pillows.

My stay was very pleasant. All workers were very professional and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to everyone..

Rooms are smaller, but clean. Courteous staff. Great location. Convenient to major French quarter attractions but far enough too be quiet.

We were pleased with our stay at the hotel.

Over all very good service and friendly staff would stay there again

It is a decent hotel, clean and convenient. Parking is valet only which is pricey, but our car arrived quickly each time we requested it. It is 1 block from Bourbon Street and 2 block from Canal. We would stay there in the future. Also, there are a number of fine dining facilities nearby.

Good hotel and nice room, but, no sense in getting a balcony room...no music from the street anyways and traffic noise loud at times.Also, these rooms only have double beds and the stale cigarette smoke smell is unpleasant

While the location is great, the neighborhood is a little seedy especially after dark. As a woman traveling by myself I chose to not venture too far after dark. I was also disappointed by the lack of privacy between rooms I could hear everything from the rooms on either side, and I mean everything. I also had to place a towel under the door between my room and the next to try to combat the cigarette smoke, but unfortunately that didn't help. The bartender was excellent, however. He was polite, attentive and pleasant.

This hotel was well-located and has some nice features, including a lovely pool area, great lounge and restaurant and a pleasant lobby area. We had a rental car and although the valet pakring at the hotel was too expensive, we didn't fret and found another, cheaper 24/7 lot 1 block away. We also were able to parek on the street for free beginning Saturday eve through Monday morning! The rooms were spacious but sparse. No refrigerator or in-room coffee, although coffee was free in the lobby. Also, free in-room wi-fi which is always a plus. The bathroom was very small and not as well-appointed as most other Holiday Inn properties. The halls were fine but dimly-lit in spots. Our bed was very comfrotable and overall, we'd recommedn this place because of location, convenience and resonable price.

I would go to this hotel again. However, the address posted in your site (Hotels.com) appeared as 301 Rue Dauphine and that is incorrect we wasted hours by loading this address in our GPS, going to this address, then doubling back through Canal Street (which is under construction!), then finally arriving to 301 Dauphine St.

The hotel was beautiful and the room was a nice size and very clean. Only downside was our bathroom size. Very small bathroom for the standard room we opted for. Location was great if you're ready to party on Bourbon and walk the French Quarter. Staff was very helpful and breakfast wasn't bad, but wasn't great either. You do get complimentary coffee! Vallet parking is extra and cost us about $30 something for each day. We would totally stay here again! Awesome location!!!
