The Clarion is an older hotel that is keeping up with competition as best it can for a property that started as motel. It is very near the civic center -- great for government business, and houses one of the best sea food restaurants in the strip between Baton Rouge and New Orleans -- truly first rate cuisine and service.

the biggest problem was the walk from my room to the lobby in the rain.

TV channels did not work. While you were watching a program it would just revert back to the hotel channel every few minutes. We told the front desk in the morning and all they said was "oh yeah? That's strange". The front door of the room was in the process of being painted and there was a big crack under the door. Not sure how long it had been like that. Its a long walk to the main building if you're staying in one of the back buildings. It's best to take your car to eat breakfast in the morning. Everything thing else was pretty good though.

Our stay was very good overall. The only complaint was that the sofa bed was not very comfortable.

Food was amazing at Mike Anderson's! Room was clean and decent.

The ac and heating unit fan ran all the time making it hard for us to sleep well,it would have been better if it would have cut on and off as it reached the temp. that we set it for.The room also smelled musty when we arrived.It got better after we turned on the ac.It would have been nice to had the room freshened up before we arrived.Thank you !

Stay was OK. When we checked in and entered the room, the refridgerator had an open bottle of Dr. Pepper. which we threw away. On day of departure, we packed our belongings before going to breakfast. Upon returning to the room to obtain our water and soda left in the refridgerator, and the candy bar and opened package of cookies left on top of the refridgerator, we noticed that the room had been entered by the cleaning staff, and they had already begun to prep the room for cleaning, but the cleaning staff were not in the room. The open bottle of soda and water was still in the refridgertor, but the unopened bottle of water and candy bar had been removed. The opened package of cookies was missing.

very comfortable rooms, polite staff, must eat at Mike Anderson's seafood restaurant (but it closes at 10).

Loved the courtyard atmosphere inside the lobby and hotel restaurant

it was comfortable & pleasant.

it was alright. the place is older and the rooms are kind of small and cramped with more than one person up and moving around. the only part i really didn't like was the bed. lump and worn out. terribly uncomfortable. but otherwise i'd stay there again if the holiday inn is still not available

Everything was fine but it might be helpful to know that there is no elevators in case you have anyone has trouble climbing stairs.

Excellent stay. Clean and comfortable rooms, Friendly staff. Easy access. Just as good as the top hotels that cost twice the money. Highly recommend!

We have nothing but rave reviews for the Clarion - great service every day. Even better breakfasts cooked to order. Not your every other hotel's fast food waffles and bagged pastries.

Just not a good business stay or otherwise....

The hotel staff was very professional and proficient . The room and surroundings were clean and well kept. The location was fine though we were commuting to events in downtown New Orleans. I would definitely stay there again and refer clients to the hotel.

The bed was very comfortable. The room was clean and the stay enjoyable. The only thing I didn't care for my room was at the end of the building next to the maids cleaning supply room and they all meet outside my door early in the morning.

very accomodating in regards to my service dog. no issues like other hotels. very satisfied...

I was very impressed with my stay at your hotel. Close to the conference center and area is very nice.

It was the perfect value and location for a weekend wedding at the Houmas house.

The rooms were well furnished for a hotel in this price range. An overall great value. The restaurant was excellent for dinner.

För tunna väggar !! när äntligen grannen somnat hödes snarkningarna kraftigt genom väggarna!!
