Hotel was priced correctly. Good price considering we were arriving at night and leaving at 6am the following morning. Just needed a place to sleep.

This had to be one of the most awful places we have ever stayed. The hallways smelled of smoke and were dirty. The room was ice cold when we arrived and took most of the night to warm up. There was hair in the bathtub and the comforter on the bed had cigarette burns in it.

The employees were terrific.. very nice wiling to help if needed.. no complaints there at all... but the cleanliness of the room was not good at all. If the cleaning crew would do a better job with walls and floors I would come back again.......

Stayed here on the way down to Florida from Ottawa, ON in December with my parents. It was conveniently located right off I-81 and was $50 cheaper than the Marriott down the road so we figured might as well save the money. That turned out to be a HUGE mistake!! The room was FREEZING cold and the hallways even colder. It took over 2 hours for the tiny heater in the corner of the room to heat up the room to barely warm enough to be able to sleep. The sheets smelled very musty and the bed was not very comfortable. The shower was disgusting and none of us dared to take a shower. Overall, an awful stay and I would highly suggest paying the extra money for the Marriott or a different exit off I-81!!

This was by far one of the most poorly maintained hotels/motels that we have ever stayed in. Our non-smoking room as well as all of the corridors smelled of smoke. The bathroom had mold growing on everything. We slept in our clothes and only touched the sheets for fear of coming in contact with anything in the room.

The front desk lady was very nice! The room was clean & the bed was comfortable. Only thing that bothered me was the carpets in the hall weren't all to nice, they were stained. Other than that i enjoyed my stay :)

Room musty and had strong odor. The door lock and key apparatus was just barely attached to the door and could easily been pulled off by hand. Entire hotel reeked of smoke. It was very quiet.

OK, PERSONNEL WAS VERY FRIENDLY THOUGH.

We arrived late for a quick overnight stay. Our bathroom had not been cleaned thoroughly - urine and hair on the back of the toilet which was hidden by the lid when it was open. Bathroom very crowded. Even the covers on the bed did not feel clean. I would not stay there again.

We reserved a non smokers room but got a room which used to be a smokers room and wasn't repainted or cleaned to get the smoke air out. Smells terrible.

front desk was helpful and patient. beds were comfy. rooom was clean & quiet. decor is very dated.

I though it was noisy around the room. The brealfast was okay. Overall I will stay with my family again.

Easy on and off the highway on our way to Canada from New Jersey. Rooms were spacious. Nice to have fridge and microwave. Bathroom could use updating. Room needed to be vaccuumed better around wall behind bed. Otherwise fine. Mountains behind hotel very pretty at dawn.

room could have been cleaner. No extra pillows. hair dryer didnot work. room smelled of cigarette smoke and it was a no smoking room.

Rooms were not ready by 3pm.

We were only on transit from Niagra-Falls to NYC. first time in Econo Lodge, room is looking very old.

lobby is a dump very dated looking very small area to eat breakfast not appealing .............. exterior of hotel extremely poorly taken care of grass is gone garbage all over leftover siding still sitting in piles.......... my room was a surprise ........................ clean with a fridge micro wave there

it was ok but one towel has a black stain on it breakfast was good close to highway and gas station and food.

nice place to stay, staff very courteous and friendly, good breakfast, excellent location,swiming pool big enough, would like to go and stay their again if possible.

My stay was ok. However, the motel smelled very musty and felt damp inside. It wasn't very pleasant. I'm not sure if I will stay there again.

I had an awesome experience and I do recommend this hotel.

The continental breakfast left a lot to be desired. Orange juice came out of the apple juice dispenser, one of the cereal dispensers was broken, and there was not a good selection. The room was mostly clean but hadn't been well checked, as I found a phone charger from a prior guest still plugged into the wall. The towels were few and a bit rough. The room was quiet and within a mile of the interstate. Threre were several restaurants within two miles distance.

The desk clerk reluctantly switched my room to another, and that also reeked of stale cigarettes. Due to my asthma, I had to go to a local Target and get an air freshener to make the room habitable.

We were in the area for collegiate rowing event and was able to get two adjoining rooms as requested. The price was good. Could have brought our dog! Friendly staff, clean but dated rooms. Convenient to the major highways. We just needed a quiet place to crash after being out all day, and this made the weekend affordable... Spent the money we saved on the room on nice meals out.

It was a nice place to stay and close to the bowling alley. We were there for the state tournament.

I only used this hotel as a stopover and for that it was suitable for my needs. Decor was a bit old, but fine. Breakfast was also fairly large for such a hotel. One thing that did bother me was the payment situation. As I had booked through hotels.com, I had already prepaid. However the night manager tried to charge my credit card again even after I told her I was already charged and showed her the email from hotels.com. Eventually she stopped and I went to my room. I would be aware of this in the future though. Seemed odd to me.

Reservations were made to have 2 rooms close together for traveling relatives to be together and the rooms were over a full hallway apart. Inquired at the lobby desk, and were told, nothing was available with criteria desired. A lesser option was offered but not acceptable and was told I had to cancel reservation and re-reserve a room. Rooms were moderately clean. Carpets dingy and worn. Non working window. Beds were comfortable enough. Appreciated the extra pillows available. .Not the best place I have stayed, but it was so-so.

Our stay was quite comfortable. The roll-away bed we asked for was quickly provided. The breakfast was fine, but guests should know it is only a continental breakfast, nothing cooked.

We made a last minute reservation at this hotel because of serious snow in our travel plans. Turned out to be a good choice; comfortable and very convenient. Will recommend to others.

When this hotel is done getting refitted, it will be a much nice fit! Beds are UNCOMFORTABLE!

this econo-lodge was very well kept! clean room, new carpet in room and being installed in hallway. free breakfast area was clean and well stocked. check in went very smoothly. a great stay! very convenient to major highways and stores/shopping. fridge and microwave a plus.

What a dump. Room smelled like urine. I would not recommend this hotel at all. Thankfully we were only staying 1 night.

Good quality for the price

The hotel was mediocre. I was very impressed with the staff, the man who checked us in was very friendly and personable (even at 12:30) at night. Sheets and pillows were a little dingy and towels had brown stains on them. Definitely did not get the sense that things were "clean' but it was adequate for a place to stay while on the road.

I have stayed at MANY ECONOLODGE PROPERTIES in the USA and this was the worst. The first room we went to smelled of smoke, must, and who knows what else. The second room was better, but the sheets had mold stains on them. This was not a give away price either.
