זהו מלון מפורסם בעל רייטינג גבוה. עם זאת, קו'דאם היא לא מלאת חיים כבעבר. מרכז העיר זז לכיוון חלקה המזרחי. כמו כן, רק לידיעתכם, שירותי סדרן החנייה הם יקרים, אך שום אופציית חנייה אחרת לא כלולה במחיר החדר. ארוחת הבוקר גם לא הייתה כלולה, אבל המסעדה הייתה מצוינת והיא בהחלט שווה את הכסף. בסך הכול אני אשאר שם שוב.

מיקום מצוין, מלון ישן ואלגנטי - נקי ומסודר. החדר היה קצת קטן ומאוד בסיסי - ללא מתקן לקפה/תה. מתקנים בחדר האמבטיה מאוד בסיסיים. אין נעלי בית. המיטה הייתה נוחה, הצוות ידידותי ועוזר. קפה "סטרבאקס" נמצא בדיוק ממול, הרכבת התחתית קרובה מאוד. בדיוק באמצע מחוז הקניות המערבי. ניתן להגיע בקלות משדה התעופה Schonefeld - רדו בתחנת הרכבת התחתית Zoological Gardens ולכו קצת ברגל.

בשעה 10 בבוקר עדכנו את דלפק הקבלה בנושא הגעתנו. נאמר לנו שהאורחים לא עוזבים את חדר המלון עד שעות הצהריים. אני מבין זאת לחלוטין. את המפתחות לחדר קיבלנו בשעה 2:50 אחה"צ. אני לא מאמין שלקח להם 3 שעות להכין את החדר בידיעה שאנחנו יושבים בלובי כל הזמן הזה. זו הייתה אדישות מצד שירות הלקוחות.

מלון מדהים, אני אוהב אותו ואת ברלין. הייתה לנו סוויטה עם נוף מדהים של ברלין. חדר האמבטיה היה ענק. ארוחת הבוקר הייתה ממש ממש טובה. מלון 5 כוכבים והיסטוריה. נפלא, חובה אם אתה שוהה בברלין. התארחנו שלוש לילות במשך חג המולד. ויום חג המולד היה נפלא.

רק דברים טובים יש לנו לומר על המלון הזה ועל הצוות שלו. הגענו בתשע בבוקר, לאחר טיסה ארוכה. קיווינו שנוכל לאחסן את המטען שלנו עד לצ'ק-אין אחרי הצהרים. למרבית הפתעתנו ושמחתנו, מסרו לנו מפתחות לחדר יפהפה ואפשרו לנו להיכנס אליו מייד... כך החלה שהייה נהדרת במלון Kempinski!!!

מלון זה אינו ממש קרוב לאתרים המרכזיים, אבל הוא במרחק הליכה מתחנת ה-Ubahn ומהתחבורה הציבורית. המלון היה נוח והצוות מושיט עזרה, אבל הרגשנו שהמלון כבר ראה ימים טובים יותר. בחדר השירותים היה ריח קל של ביוב (עליי לציין שבאזור זה של ברלין מבוצעות עבודות ביוב נרחבות, ואולי זאת בעיה כללית). המחיר ששילמנו היה מאוד סביר, אבל מחיר ארוחת הבוקר היה גבוה (25 יורו לאדם). היות ואיננו אוכלי ארוחות בוקר מובהקים, יצאנו -במקום זאת- לקפה ומאפה. אבל מצאנו שזה הרבה פחות נוח. בס"ה, עבור המחיר ששילמנו, זה היה בסדר. אבל בביקורנו הבא ננסה מלון אחר, מודרני ובמיקום מרכזי יותר.

וואו! ה- Kempinski on Ku`dam הוא אדיר! שרות לקוחות נהדר, חדר נוח ומיקום טוב. הוא יקר אבל שווה, משום שמתייחסים אליכם כמו אל מלכים. במלון לא אכלנו שום ארוחות, בגלל המחיר, אבל בקרבת מקום יש מסעדות, אוכל מהיר, דוכני נקניקיות. בחדר שלנו היה שני שירותים. לא! זה לא היה בידה!! חדר האמבטיה היה אדיר, עם אמבטיה לטבילה ומקלחון גדול בנפרד. ממוקם היטב ב- Ku`dam, קרוב ל- S ול- U bahns. אי אפשר להגיד מספיק דברים טובים על המקום הזה! יום אחד בודאי אתארח ב-Kempinski אחר!

בדצמבר ביליתי שלושה לילות במלון זה. השוער היה ידידותי מאוד וכל ערב הציע לנו מסעדה אחרת. שלושתן היו מצוינות. הצד החלש היחידי הייתה הבריכה, שהיא עמוקה מאוד לכל אורכה. והיות ואני לא שחיין כל כך טוב, זה אכזב אותי. וגם צוות הבריכה היה נטול כל יחס אישי.

המלון היה במיקום טוב ונוח, חצי בלוק מתחנת ה- Ulandstrasse U-Bahn. וכחמש דקות הליכה מתחנת ה- Zoo S-Bahn (שם עוצרת הרכבת המהירה משדה התעופה). הצוות היה עוזר ומקצועי. החדר המקורי שלנו היה בקומת מעשנים אולם, לאחר שביקשנו, ללא בעיה העבירו אותנו לקומה ללא עישון. תלונתנו היחידה היא שהחדר הקודם שלנו (באגף הישן יותר) נהייה חם למדי בלילות, על אף שהחימום לא פעל. פתרנו זאת על ידי השארת חלון פתוח.

מלון יפהפה. שרות אדיב. מיקום מצוין. חדר מאוד נחמד. מאוד נקי. מזנון ארוחת הבוקר אדיר.

Excellent service, always very friendly staff. The room is large, nice and clean. Its located right in the centre of the shopping area. The old city centre with all the landmarks is a good walk or a 10€ taxi drive away

Kempenski was a nice hotel but no buzz about the place don't have any complaints about staff or hotel but a little to expensive for us couldn't eat or drink there but lots of places around and close at hand

Overall very good Hotel, impeccable service from reception. Hard to get better location as opposite bus stop for airport and tour buses, shops and restaurants all around this area. We had a brilliant four days here.

Good location, nice common areas. Our room was not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel, should be renovated. Some parts of the hotel all in all need renovation, I would classify it to 4 and from the room perspective to 3 star.

stayed in classic room on first floor which was quite small, base of bed was fraying at edges and furniture was old and tired. More like a three star hotel room

I was a little dissapointed in the quality of this hotel. The wall paper is peeling of the walls and the bedspreads need updating. The bed was not very comfortable, very hard. I would not consider this a 5 star hotel any more. I booked two single beds but was given a double joined together and told this is all they had unless I paid another $40 Euro a night to upgrade. We chose not too. If they did not have two singles I should not have been able to book it. The position of the hotel is fantastic, walking distance to restaurants, bars, and great shopping on Ku Damm Strasse! You can also get the hop on hop off bus on Ku Damm very close and the underground train station is also very close. The drapes were not good and did not block out the light at night. The room was clean and we did get a bottle of mineral water and some fruit as a welcome which was a nice touch. I would recommend staying here for the convenience and the ambience, but don't expect a modern 5 star hotel.

Great location! Great staff!! But in dire need of a makeover. Everything was great except condition of room. Carpet old. Furniture older. Beds uncomfortable. If those things can be overlooked then book it.

I have booked 3 rooms but we did not get all the same rooms. 2 of them at 5th floor were very small and the 3rd at first was too big. I have expected to get all the same since we paid the same.

We got a 5 night reasonable deal but if I would have paid the full rack rate I would have been quite unhappy. It was not our first visit to Berlin and in the past, we stayed in 4* hotels that were much better overall and cost less. The Kempinski Hotel Bristol Berlin location is great for shopping and dining, it is very near to a U bahn station and bus stations. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Classic room is small but clean the beds were ok not more, in the bathroom the towels were thin the bathtub was high and not suitable for old people (for us it was ok). The cleaner forgot systematically to leave soaps, shampoo and body lotion. No free Wi-Fi!!! And the Wi-Fi price per day or hour is unreasonable. The TV was very old, not LCD or LED. The hotel needs a revamp. Not what I expected from a 5* hotel.

I love this hotel. It was very clean and I would definately stay again.

Liked the hotel a lot. Needs some updating but overall a very good experience. The staff were very sincere in their efforts. I would stay there again.

I had 5 wonderful nights there.I like the lagage room which lets me room as clear as at home.

It's an unforgettable experience. Location of this hotel is perfect, perfect and just perfect. Classic hotel, very nice and very good personnel. Will stay here next time in Berlin for sure.

I got a good deal so I am not too worried about it, the location is great, staff are very friendly, room was small but very clean with good quality mattress and lovely pillows. But if I would have paid the full rack rate I would have been quite unhappy. One big problem was an awful smell in the bathroom from the sewage and the hotel looked tired and needs a revamp especially with so many new hotels in Berlin springing up.

Great hotel, service impeccable. We were allowed to check-in at 10AM after a long over-night train journey, and delayed check-out by 4 hours for E30. Location ideal near parks, shopping, public transport. Bike-hire at hotel.

From the moment we arrived we were swept off our feet, our car was whisked away, our luggage was delivered to our room, and after an efficient check in we were excorted to our room. Our only complaint was the cost of the meals and drinks, however, this should possibilly be expected from this type of hotel.

PROs: nice and big room (junior suite), good location for shopping and dining around, easy access to U bahn. CONs: dump smell in the corridor (3th floor), slow services at breakfast (had to wait several times for 10-15 minutes for ordering a cappucino and for fried eggs), outdated TV in the room, free WiFi in the lobby is a joke!

good location, nice hotel. Parking is not complimentary, a bit expensive. There is free internet in the lobby.

The hotel is beautiful but very old and traditional. In a hot May week, my room had no real airconditioning. Hotel staff brought a fan and written communication suggested keeping the curtains closed to keep out the sun. This should be made clearer on thr wbsite. There are parts of the hotel with real airconditioning, but although I paid a substantial sum for a room, I was not in that category. Hotel also only had feather pillows and feather quilts, a problem for those allergic to feathers. Front desk was very nice about changing them, but the housekeeping people who brought the on feather pillow and quilt were grumpy and unpleasant.

thoroughly enjoyable

The concierge was amazingly knowledgable and helpful -- got us onto a special Reichstad dome tour, suggested wonderful restaurants. Hotel is beautiful -- although the pool alas was not open while we were there due to annual maintence.

I can not say enough on how nice it is at the Kempinski hotel. From the door man, the bell hop( cuitest thing ever), front desk, Richard's cafe and all the people sitting around the outdoor sitting area. Im glad the Sofitel was booked, and when I go back to Berlin, it will be the Kempinski for me. We booked a 5 hour tour and saw alot of the city. Fantastic.

This was my 6th or 7th stay at Berlin's Kempinski, and it never lets me down. Rooms are comfortable and quiet, beds are among the best in the country, and the facilities, such as the pool and the art deco charming restaurant, are the finishing touches. The services is unsurpassed, and this is truly a hotel that shows what 5 stars used to mean. Granted, the city has changed a lot in Kempinski's time, and Ku'Damm is no longer at the center of activities. A lot of the best of Berlin is now in the old East, around Mitte, Hackescher Market and Kreuzberg, making the location of the hotel, once in the heart of everything, a bit removed from the center of the action. But with the Uhlandstrasse station right in front of the hotel (literally) you're never far from anywhere in Berlin. And don't disregard the Charlottenburg and neighboring Schöneberg areas, they definitely have their charms. For some reason, our A/C acted up a bit on our last night, making the room quite warm. We mentioned it to the hotel staff when we checked out, and I'm sure it's fixed by now. I know that next time I'll be going to Berlin, I'll be staying here again.

We stayed 3 wunderful days in Berlin and this hotell made our stay even better. Great Service, from the front desk, to the man that worked in the poolbar. Everybody we talked to hade a smile to give away :-) I would like to thank this hotell for giving us great value for our money and for making our first trip to Berlin a great success. We are very very happy with this hotell, and have no problems recomending this hotell

A legendary hotel with top service and in the middel of the best shopping street in western Europa. Super service, I will be back in 4 weeks!
