Hotel de France - וינה

מיקום נהדר והמלון שופץ אבל השירותים זקוקים לריענון. החדר היה מאוד נקי אבל המזרונים זקוקים להחלפה. מאוד לא נוחים. הצוות מאוד ידידותי ואדיב.

המלון מאוד מרכזי וליד כל האתרים החשובים. הוא במרחק הליכה קלה מכל מקום שאתם צריכים לראות בוינה. העיצוב אלגנטי והצוות מאוד מועיל. ארוחת הבוקר מעולה. בהחלט אמליץ עליו.

מלון זה בעל מיקום נוח, במרחק הליכה מהאתרים ההכי טובים ורכבת התחתית.  החדר היה מרווח, נוח ושקט מאוד. ארוחת הבוקר הייתה מצויינת והוגשה עד מאוחר! הצוות היה אדיב ויעיל. בסך הכול לא היינו יכולים לעשות יותר טוב.

מלון נהדר, בניין יפיפה, מתוחזק באופן טוב מאוד וצוות מאוד נחמד לעזר לנו באופן יוצא מן הכלל.

השהייה במלון הייתה טובה. הדבר היחידי שלא משביע רצון הינו שלמרות שהמלון מפרסם שיש מזגן, הם לא מדליקים אותו בחודש אוקטובר ולכן החדר נעשה חם ומחניק.

קרוב לרכבת התחתית. חדרים גדולים ונקיים מאוד, מיני-בר חינם, קבלה אדיבה. אך המשקאות בבר המלון מאוד יקרים ועדיף לאכול ארוחת בוקר בתחנת הרכבת, איכות מעולה ובמרחק מספר צעדים בלבד.

מאוד נהניתי ממלון זה, הסביבה. שווה את המחיר.

זהו מלון מעולה. הבעיה היחידה הייתה שהחדר היה חם מידי בשבוע הראשון של אוקטובר. היינו צריכים לפתוח את החלונות כי הם סגרו את מיזוג האוויר, ורק הבנו זאת ביום השני.

מלון מאוד נחמד במיקום מושלם. אנו חוזרים לכאן בכל ביקור בוינה.

Located near mass transit and very central. Room was small but not too. Shower was very difficult to stand in given narrow footwell. Overall, a decent hotel for the price.

This was maybe a 5 star hotel for twenty years ago not any more.

Exceptionally large, elegant, modern, bedrooms and bathrooms. Friendly and courteous staff. A truly 5Star hotel.

Staff was very accomodating as I had flown all night from the States and they let me check in at 9:30AM. Very courteous.

Great location, wonderful breakfast. The hotel is a little shabby/outdated. It has old world charm, but certainly not 5 star.

Our stay in this hotel met all our expectations, it is very comfortable, the staff could not be more helpful the situation is excellent, breakfast superb.I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

We loved the location, the Jr suite, and the staff.Everyone was very knowledgeable and spoke good English.

Great location, easy access through U line from airport and to go around the city. Also easy access to tram lines. All the major attractions are within walking distance. Rooms and bathroom are good size. The only thing I was not happy about when the cleaning person did not clean the commode, but when asked the front desk, they sent some one right away to take care of it. Breakfast was great but it comes with a price, so check before you decide.

Room was old and cramped. Location was fine (difficult not to be in a compact city like Vienna..). Clean enough, quiet enough but really not worth the price...

Clean room with nice little balcony. Furniture not at all comfortable. Staff professional and helpful.

we enjoyed our stay; the front desk staff was inconsistent - sometimes terrific and other times very average.

My sister and I were very happy with our stay in Vienna. The hotel was great, the staff was very friendly, and the location is excellent. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

One of the best hotels in Vienna. I have stayed here in 2 of my 3 visits in the last 4 years. Magnificent old building in a great location close to the university and U2 station right outside the door. Polite and efficient room service. All problems/questions taken care of with a brief phone call. The rooms have a early 20th century look. I wish the furniture was updated. The biggest problem is that the hotel is not ready for the 21st century. The TV is old with a picture tube. The internet is slow: 128kbps. There is no wifi in the rooms. You have to hook up your laptop with a small Ethernet cable. Make sure to bring your own if you want to sit on the bed and work/surf, etc. There is no A/C. The heating control does not work well. The room becomes so hot that you have to open the windows.

Great hotel. Only complaint, my room was quite small and had no desk with chair.

Our stay at Hotel France was all too brief, but very comfortable and the hotel is well situated in the city centre close to underground station. An early flight meant we were not able to have breakfast before traveling, but the limo service to the airport was effecient and comfortable.The room and bathroom were very clean, being picky I could say the decor was a bit dated but did not detract from the stay at Hotel France.

This is a traditional Viennese hotel with excellent service in a good central location on the Ring. We stayed for a mix of business for me and leisure for my wife. We both found the proximity to the nearest U-bahn station (50m) to be great. It was also a pleasant 10 minute walk to the heart of Vienna at Stephansdom Platz. As others have found the breakfast is very good in a pleasant room. Some of the rooms are extremely large and well appointed. I think the rooms are quite varied because of the historic nature of the building

food was wonderful, a bit pricey...clean rooms, bed a little stiff for our taste but very helpful staff and very friendly, will return!

Really nice hotel, Very central. I would definitely recommend it. The concierge even organised a car to the airport it was a great service and cheaper than a taxi. The only issue for me was quality of wifi it constantly dropped.

Hotel location worked well for my requirements. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Location was perfect close to everything. Metro, trams,tour buses main attractions. Lots of space in the room nice bathroom. Bed and pillows were too soft for my taste. Breakfast was very good service was great too. Nothing wrong with this hotel.

Clean and efficient hotel with little character or charm. Very good buffet breakfast.

Nice hotel, but room was on front facing street - so a bit noisy and the bright lights of the building lit up the room even when curtain was drawn. Room reservation was for superior accommodation but I wonder how these terms are made up. I would classify room as usual and small, far from superior. Hotel breakfast was excellent. Great location with ring tram and subway lines on corner.

I really liked the location of this hotel because it was at the edge of the historic area, steps from the Metro, but not actually in the old section itself. The lobby and common areas were nice but nothing spectacular. The staff was very helpful. The one downside was that I had the budget price room and it was very small and looked into an air shaft.

Our room was surprisingly large for a European hotel, well-equipped and very clean. The breakfast buffet featured both American and European breakfast foods, and we appreciated the morning news bulletins in a variety of languages. The hotel is right on the central ring, within walking distance or a short underground or tram ride from all the major sights. The staff was helpful and courteous. An excellent choice for visiting Vienna, at a reasonable rate.

Everyone we encountered was helpful and friendly. Our German is very Limited, but English was no problem. The breakfast buffet was an excellent way to start a day of exploring. The rooms were well appointed with hair dryer, robes and even a scale in the bathroom. I would defiantly go back.

It was very good , nice old palace, fully modernised in rooms, nice breakfast, room actually a mini-suite with two bathrooms, . only strange thing is that one cannot control heating - the central control was fine, but this was because we had good ( not too cold weather)

Excellent condition, great location, great staff. Excellent breakfast - included in room rate. One disappointing experience: we had booked and confirmed a taxi (mini-van) to airport (4:30 AM) through this hotel @ 44 Euro. Instead, at the last minute, they brought a van, and asked us to pay a higher rate for the van (60 Euros). That was not right.

The hotel room was small, but clean. The A/C was not working, so we slept with windows open to busy street. The shower was very small so that it was awkward to wash without hitting the controls. The included breakfast was very extensive; one of the hotel's highlights.

I would stay at Hilton which next door to Hotel de France. The bed was unconfortable and linen was not change daily. The room temperature was so hot and has to open window and too noisy from outside traffic. The hotel restaurant is too expensive. The only good in this hotel was the continental breakfast which is included in the hotel rate.

Very helpful staff. Near tram lines. (Make sure you find out exactly where the trams stop.) Good breakfast.
