Great & friendly staff. Very clean. Great service - best massage ever, rental car delivered to the hotel, many more examples. Short walk past the pools & a short path to the beach. Great views! Great beach! Great decision for us to go there!

We had a great stay at the hotel: pleasant surroundings, friendly and helpful personnel, clean (but basic) room. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect place to stay on this amazing island!

We had a wonderful stay at the Anacaona. It was our anniversary and they put a complimentary bottle of prosecco in our room with a lovely hand-written note. Very friendly and helpful staff. This hotel is a quick walk down a path to one of the most beautiful beaches in Anguilla, which is shared with the Viceroy Hotel (much more expensive hotel). The Anacaona has it's own lounge chairs and umbrellas and a beach bar serving drinks and food.

Imagine what a perfect Caribbean hotel would include. I wanted a beautiful beach, a hotel with some local character, attentive but laid back staff, a gentle breeze keeping the bedroom cool and to fall asleep to the sound of the waves. The Anacaona has all this, coupled with a real passion for delivering old fashioned service. The Anacaona may have a couple of rough edges but it is an antidote to the over-priced corporate culture that has a afflicted much of the Caribbean and is a real Gem.

I was most impressed by the staff at the Anacaona. They were all so kind and courteous. They make everyone feel so very welcome. I was down in Anguilla for a wedding where most events took place at the Viceroy. I am so happy that I stayed at the Anacaona instead

From the moment we arrived until we left, the staff and management could not have been friendlier! The new owners are spending money to improve the grounds and everything was freshly painted. One area that could use improvement is accessibilty to beach...walking down and back up a rocky path was a little shaky. If hotel could shuttle guests I think the beach would be more attractive to catch a beautiful Anguilla sunset!! We do hope to return!

Enjoyed it; except for some noisy roosters and somewhat poor soundproofing.

Jr. Suite was worth it- we have 3 kids and it was plenty of room for us. The best part was friendly staff. very good service-they learned our names and were very nice. They worked hard- i never experienced "island time" like i have at many other island resorts- where the service is so poor-. Cute pool my kids loved. Not on the beach though- a 5 minute walk...great cable every channel even Bravo, VH1 and Cartoon network

The Anacaona is not a bad hotel. The grounds are beautiful and lead down toward the beach, which turns out to be a longer walk along a back road than I would have imagined. The hotel was basically clean, but I certainly had no luxurious beddiung or decor to justify calling it a Boutique Hotel. It has as few problems: The doors are difficult to lock and flimsy, old locks. The air conditioner froze up and began dripping and spitting water at me. Other than that, it was comfortable.

The Anacaona hotel may not be the five star hotel, but the hotel is very clean and the staff is fantastic. The food was also great and reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend stay there if you are looking for a great bargain.

You cannot beat this location at this price. The hotel is directly next to the Viceroy, and very close to the Frangiapani, yet way less than half the price of both! You don't get all the amenities you would if you were staying at either of the above hotels, but that's not what I look for when on vacation. And by amenities, I mean there isn't drink service at the beach or pool. You can fill out a form and they will bring you lunch at the beach at your specified time. The only reason I gave this a 4 for location, is because if you don't want to spend and arm and a leg on food then you should rent a car. If you don't mind spending a lot on food and are content to stay at the most beautiful beach in Anguilla then ignore my 4 for location, and give it a 5! I gave it a 3 for comfort of my room, b/c the bed was hard. Not hard by European standards, but by American standards it was a hard bed, but this is a British Territory so I would expect to find a hard European bed there. Everything else was wonderful. The grounds were lovely, and the room was just the right size, and the A/C was perfect. And on Mondays they have a welcome reception with food and drinks, also every day at 5 pm they bring a pineapple sorbet to the people laying by the pool, don't miss it, it's delicious!

It was not a beachfront hotel but the 2 minute walk was not a problem. Very clean, great service and staff are so nice and welcoming. I would stay again.

Thoroughly recommend this hotel. Great value for money. Moments away from the best beach in Anguilla - Meads Bay. Very tranquil

The hotel was well situated and much nicer than expected. The services was great and the landscaping was nice and a pleasant retreat from the sunny white beaches. A couple of nice pools too. The hammocks were also fun to lounge around in. Will need a car to head out to the other areas. Also a quick step from the Viceroy hotel where you can check out the sunset lounge for a drink.

Recently upgraded. Nice gardens and pools by one of the best beaches on the island. Pleasant staff. Good value for money.

Probleme d'intimité dans les chambres: rideaux trop petit et bais vitrées en mauvais état difficile à fermer.L'ensemble de l'hôtel est très propre et le personnel adorable! Par contre le restaurant est très médiocre!
