For a couple of days with kids this hotel wasn't bad a deal. The price was reasonable. The only bad thing was I asked for a non smoking room that smelled like a smoking room. And the pool isn't for small kids at all. The staff there was awesome and If I'm in that area again with the kids I will stay there again.

We chose this location, originally told 'No Problem' being picked up from the AMTrack station and to also the return trip back. We were told only if they had time to take us - that was a courtesy and not guarenteed. Also promised free shuttle service to the cruise terminal (only to terminal - would not pick up from the terminal - had to get a taxi). Promised free shuttle service to the cruise terminal when booked the room; them upon check in; $8 a voucher, which the driver never collected. Wonder how many people were not charged that fee. Manager even wanted to say that all vouchers are collected, I still have mine. Then wanted to argue about courtesy shuttle taking us back to the train station.

Good location right next to the i95. My room (615) was clean, beds were comfortable. Hot water in the shower wasn't always available. Breakfast was adequate to start my day. Price was affordable. Overall i had a pleasant stay since it was a business trip. I would stay here again

everything was fine except for the hair (two different types) on the night stand and the half eaten pizza (w/ onions) in the fridge from the last guest. I had to toss it out when I caught a whiff of it upon entering the room. might have someone include the "smell test" before deeming a room ready for re-occupancy.

Spent two nights in the non-smoking area. After reading reviews I wasn't sure, but took the chance and was very impressed. Very clean rooms & breakfast was great. The bed was comfortable. Rooms were very modern with plasma tv, mini fridge & microwave. Perfect for a few nights. AAA discount.

Front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Only complaint was shuttle didn't start until 5 AM - not enough time to get to airport for early flight. Ended up having to take taxi and airport shuttle was main reason I chose hotel.

The hotel staff are very nice and theyb are very helpful. The room is clean and price is okay.

This was just a place to stay before off to the Keys. Room was very clean and all of the staff was very helpful. Not too far from airport but do have to take a shuttle. Will stay again if every need a room in the area

I recently was in Miami for the World Baseball Classic, Panther hockey game and was flying out of Ft. Lauderdale aiport. Finding a hotel was a nightmare in terms of convenience to all areas. I found a review on the Days Inn that gave it a thumbs up and I totally concur. It is an easy off the I-95, it is minutes from North Hollywood beach and minutes from the airport and about half way between the hockey and baseball. I arrived early and the excellent hostess found me a room. The room was large, clean and had a flat screen tv with high def and many channels. Breakfast was very good in the morning and the lady there was continually replenishing and keeping it clean. The pool was cold but the hot tub hit the spot. You can hear the I95 closeby but my room faced it. The white noise actually helped me sleep but if you have problems with that perhaps ask for a room at the rear of the hotel. There are plenty of closeby resaurants, banks etc. down the street minutes by car. If you have business in north Miami/Hollywood I highly recommend this hotel.

Cleaniness

needs updating but clean everyone very friendly. next to highway so noise may bother some.

The Days Inn in Florida was very similar to others in the chain in other locals. No surprises. We were happy with everything except for our initial difficulty connecting to the internet. Everyone was pleasant and helpful.

comfortable beds

Generic & Standard 2 star hotel. You will not be wowed by any means. However, it has a friendly staff, better-than-motel rooms, and a fair location. Also, not sure why people focus on the breakfast; this should not be a consideration for booking this type of hotel as there are many great restaurants in the south Florida area. Enjoy the FREE breakfast for what it is, a selection of free snacks (cereals , muffins, yogurt, fruit, etc.) that you can pick up on your way out to your flight, cruise, or to pack in your bag before a day of business.

Hotels worked well for our needs. Van pick up at the airport was efficient as well as the transfer ( $8.00 extra per person) to the cruise terminal. Breakfast has a lot of choices. Close to the interstate so road noise was the only item that I marked the hotel down on.

It has a good continental breakfast and the room are very clean.

Hotel was acceptable, but definitely a notch below what I expected. Gripes: Door keys kept getting demagnetized, and we had to keep asking for new ones. This is a recurring problem for them. The continental breakfast is the bare minimum, crowded, and they couldn't keep it clean and well-stocked. The room was OK, but a bit cramped. Equipment in the fitness room was poorly maintained, and the outdoor pool was tiny. The service was polite.

This hotel is in need of remodeling and updating. No window or exhaust fan in bathroom. Elevator very slow. However, more could have been done to create better service with current situation. Not enough attention to breakfast area, lack of seating, toaster broken, 6 inch foam plate for breakfast is ridiculous - at least 10-12 inch plate is necessary for the food provided. Towels in room were old, worn out, and not sufficiently cleaned. Purchased a beer from the front desk, and it was warm.

The Days Inn South is perfectly located close to the airport, so no rushing to make my flights. The only small issue is there is no shuttle from the cruise port to pick up customers. The breakfast was good and the rooms were comfortable. And it doesn't hurt there is a Denny's a hundred feet away.

Overnight stay before taking a cruise and shuttle service was reason for choosing hotel. Received alot more in return. The cleanliness, hospitality, ammenities, location, rates and organization of shuttle service was superb! Have already recommended your hotel to others. Look forward to staying again sometime in the future. Keep up the great service!

Not a bad hotel off the beach, good place if you want to stay off the beach and save some money.

It was close to the Oakwood mall which was very convenient. You could walk there but it's best to have a car for convenience, to go to the grocery store and beach. The breakfast was good but they need to give you something larger than a styrofoam side plate. I went to K-Mart at the mall and bought my own dishes. I never went to the Denny's next door (had car and went to Hollywood Beach) and never used the pool. It was isolated and not very inviting and with the beach so near, why bother. Very close to the freeway and you can hear it at night so if you're a light sleeper, this would not be good for you. Breakfast consisted of waffles and pancakes (for toaster), toast, croissants, cereal, juice, coffee/tea. The hot items varied from day to day, eggs, sausage, biscuits with gravy. There was instant oatmeal and grits and some apples and oranges. It was nice to have a microwave and fridge in the room. Definitely need a car and try West Lake Park with the water park if you have kids. Nice quiet park with nice trails to walk.

Very comfortable

The hotel fit my purpose however the noise level from adjacent rooms was annoying. The continental breakfast was good and I was thankful for it because it helped me maintain my timeline.

The only complaint it that it took several try for the staff to get are card to our room to work. Well they never got both card to work at the same time. Good thing we only needed one.

very good. Women who cleaned our room found my wife's lost eyeglasses somewhere in the room and put them on the top of the tv so she would see them. Very special care from her.

HOTEL WAS GREAT,EMPLOYEES WERE EXTREMLY HELPFUL AND FRINDLY..ONLY COMPLAINT WAS THE BED WAS HARD AS AROCK.WOULD STAY THERE AGAIN AND RECOMEND TO FRIENDS
