Nice room. Cool look inside lobby.

In addition to the hotel being unclean and loud, the staff was horrible. As part of our reservation, we were to receive a free breakfast. The hotel ran out of bacon. We had to wait several hours to get clean sheets and towels. We were told that this was all due to Penn relays.

I would have probably given the hotel 4 stars but the rooms and hotel are a bit outdated. The shower also didn't drain properly so that was a bit annoying having to take a shower with a foot of water in the tub.

Staff was friendly, polite, and professional. Room was quiet and clean. Mattress could have been of better quality.some dining utensils would have been nice since room had microwave. Overall nice experience.

My family really loved the hotel. We meet longtime friends that we haven't seen in 16 years and loved the pool and spa and the surrounding area. Philly within 20 miles. The room was wonderful. The cookies so good. My only small issue was there weren't any clean towells in the pool are. We and another family called while at the pool within an hour of each other and no one ever came to collect dirty towells or bring new ones. My family shared one towel for the five of us. We opted for the bed n' breakfast option and there was alot to choose from. I reccommend everyone get that option.

Very Comfortable Beds, nice separate sitting area, good location near a mall and good restaurants. The buffet breakfast at the hotel (at extra cost) was extensive and good.

When the room was booked we were told by rep hoyt, that we have will have a complementary roll away bed (there was 6 of us) and that breakfast would also be complementary. This was never so. The manager on duty said it was imposibble to provide the extra bed/;reakfast. We were totally disappointed with the booking. Apparantly hoyt just hurridely made the booking without paying attention to what we wanted.

They were extremely nice to us. We had a car accident and were actually booked in Center City. Hotels.com changed the reservation for us with no hassle. It was an long day and we were starving. Our dinner was excellent, compliments to the chef!!! Very comfortable and very clean.

This hotel was pretty nice for the money. Big room with separate bedroom/living room but the rooms looked like they could use some updating. Staff was very friendly and of course we got a cookie when we checked in. Nice bar area inside hotel, didn't check out their food. Hotel is set up a little weirdly, but it worked.

Beautiful hotel with very friendly staff. Great breakfast! We will certainly stay there again.

Booking through Hotels.com was a very smooth transaction. For the same exact room and amenities they actually were cheaper than booking through the hotel directly. Thanks Hotel.com. ...but that's where the happiness ended. Our stay at DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Philadelphia West, to bring in the New Year 2013, was an absolute NIGHTMARE! Upon arrival our keys didn't work to get into our room. An engineer was going to come up and repair the lock while we waited but we eventually convinced them to give us another room. Next our heater in the new room didn't work so the "engineer" came to reverse the electrical wiring. We didn't find out until we awakened the next morning FREEZING that our heater still didn't work. I went down to the Business Center that same morning to send money via WU to a friend and the internet didn't work. After about 45 minutes of waiting while they troubleshooted the staff concluded that they would have to wait until AT&T arrived...which meant More Waiting!! I then fixed the problem by advising a staff member to unplug then re-plug the power cord and other cords from the modem then hit the reset button. Last but not least, when my family and I awoke the next morning there was NO WATER available - well through to the time that we left!!!! We had paid in full and in advance to stay here and all we got out of this stay was a change in scenery. And for our "two night" nightmare, the Manager offered no refund, but a "one night" stay in the future :-(

Non-Smoking room smelled like smoke

We had a good visit. Pretty lobby and excellent buffet breakfast. Rooms were nice for the price. We would return. Right next to a huge mall with many restaurant options.

Spent 5 nights at the Double Tree with my son's lacrosse team. Very well organized hotel in terms of catering/food service. Great location. Great Rooms. Will be back.

The hotel was very nice. The suites were kept in excellent condition. I did have problems sleeping due to 2 wedding/receptions going on. I went to the vending at 1:30am and the reception was still going on. I was just amazed by the noise, but its a wedding so I tried to be understanding. Although I had a lack of sleep, I would recommend this hotel.

Room was smaller than expected, tended to be noisy due to nearby stairwell and did not have a refrigerator as was listed to be in each room. When requested a 2nd coffee cup and bag of coffee was brought to the room quickly.

The food was horrible. The chicken was spoilt

Went to this hotel for a trade show. Got there in the midst of upcoming SUPERSTORM. Our accomodations were very good, we enjoyed the hot tub and had an excellent breakfast (although not included) in the morning. Unfortunately the trade show did not work our either for us or the hotel. Many vendors were no show and others left early, so we only got to see two vendors, but the hotel staff were excellent and very accommodating.

We had to stay here after Hurricane Sandy knocked out our power at home for days. The location was great, as was the hotel. The restauarant was also good - I'd highly recommend.

Excellent service from staff, went there to have a relaxing night after being without power for a week because of the Hurricane Sandy. No regrets it was worth the money.

Nice suite for that price...only problem bedroom door didn't close completely...not much privacy

We really enjoyed out stay. The rooms were very clean and our beds were made every day. The quality of service was amazing. The front entrance to the hotel was very welcoming. The staff were very friendly and the Assistant Front desk Manager was very accommodating in meeting our needs. I will recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great holiday.

Would stay at this hotel again! At first they got our room wrong as we had booked a suite. They quickly fixed the mistake. The suite was excellent. Location is great. Mall/food is walking distance. Highway to Phili is a stones throw and a 20-30 minute drive into city. Staff is super friendly. Lobby is wonderfully spacious. Pool is very nice. Free morning coffee in the lobby was better than most...a nice wake up. Beds very comfy. All in all, a real find at this price. Highly recommend.

The location was perfect for my staffer and I. The property is well kept. The Front Desk were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. We will return soon.

We were impressed with the size of the suite, its comfort including the quality of the furniture given the low price wee actually paid. The staff of the hotel were very pleasant, helpful and accommodating.The only down side was the distance that it was from the attractions of Philadelphia, and because of the volume of traffic the time it took to drive in to the City.

Very nice hotel but had some problems. Room next door (302) was used as a party room for some type of family reunion and was very noisy. Could hear the conversations from people standing and talking right outside the door. Room should not have been rented next to a party room. TV did not work in bedroom. Room was not cleaned until 5:00 one night and coffee packets were not replaced in the room. Would have expected a little better for a Doubletree Hotel. Overall though, must state that it was a bargain for the rate.

Excellent hotel, we were lucky to get it at a great rate. Plenty of room, very nice interior, nice pool and hot tub. Very close to a mall with several food options. Would absolutely recommend this to anyone.

I enjoyed the Hotel and the Staff was OUTSTANDING.
