The room was clean and sufficient for our needs. However, the noise coming from the lobby and hallway was endless, even throughout the night.

very good stay, very restful stay

The hotel was clean and just what I needed of a one night stay. The staff was friendly. The location made this a great stay. It was not far from my event.

Had a nice stay here. Very close to the beach without the huge expense of the waterfront. Clean pool as well.

Great stay although more channels are to be desired and for a non smoking room it smelled a little

Great room no refrigerator or microwave

it was a great hotel for the price only two blocks from the beach. the service was good. the breakfast was good. the bad things about this hotel are the beds were a bit worn out but still slept good. we didnt have a fridge or microwave. then we were right next to the elevator so it was making weird noises all day. i would recommend this hotel if you are not planning on stay for long.

Close to everything..... had a problem with our door closing but we only started one night as a get away.... the price was great and very close to beach...already looking to book or next stay

Hotel is great on everything!!!! Our pet loved it too. We will be back before summer ends.

Friendly staff, nice pool and nice breakfast

the place was nice on the far side of the beach so it wasn't crowded. the staff at the front desk was very friendly, but this red roof inn hasn't been up dated like tge others we have stayed in but it was ok for what we paid for the room.

The first room I was given smelled like weed and the stench was unbearable...they did in return give us another room though....However, it was Bike Week and the traffic was pretty hectic

I'm working at a jobsite and this was comfortable and affordable. Would recommend!

This hotel was very pleasant and close to the airport, which is what we wanted for our one night stay; the staff was friendly and the room was nice, functional and clean. We would stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly and my room was so clean I was so happy. I am always afraid that the bathrooms or beds are going to be dirty but they were definitely very clean. The only complaint is that it is so far away from a lot of things. But the ocean is two blocks away but our friends and the places we wanted to go were far. But that is the ONLY complaint. I would stay there again and walk that's how nice it was.

I was super happy with this hotel, staff was MORE then friendly, hotel was busy due to Bike Week but quiet, plenty of parking, ice machine on every floor along with a vending machine that took debit cards (very convienant), elevator was a little slow but no big deal, 5 different entrances for convienance. McDonalds was a block up and Waffle House was right next door -- everything rolled into one. Didn't get to use the pool but it was nice, hallways were clean, hospitality staff was friendly, no problems from anyone -- room was spacious, air conditoner worked awesome, bathroom could of been a little bigger, but the marble countertops were nice, shower was clean, shower head made water pressure kinda low but it served it's purpose...

I have no complaints about this hotel. It's just not 4 star quality, but it's definitely a good place to stay if you're trying to stay on a budget and still be close to the beach. I always had hot water, clean towels, and the front desk person was always so sweet. The complementary breakfast was delicious too! I did have one light in my room that wasnt working, but it was no big deal. All the other ones worked! If you're looking to be close to the boardwalk but not close to all the dirty/party like atmosphere, this would be your place!

Overnight stay, quiet time

My husband and I came to the hotel for the beginning of bike week. It was central to everything we wanted to see, easily accessible, and clean. We had the basic room, so no microwave or fridge, but we had a cooler, and just kept drinks in it, and made sure we didnt order huge quantities of food, so no wasting. It was overall pleasant, though our bed was hard, but I did see mattresses out in the backlot, so they were slowly updating them and hadnt made it to our room yet. We would definitely stay there again, as it was affordable and close to lots of things, the bar next door was cozy as well.

I just needed this place for one night before heading back home. The stay was great and the rooms were clean! I would stay again!!

Decent hotel for the price. Bed was comfortable, staff was very friendly. The overall room was pretty clean, however the sheets and towels were stained. I couldn't tell if the sheets had been washed or not. I put a card on our pillow indicating we would like FULL service. When we returned i checked the sheets and they had the same stains on them, so obviously they just made our bed instead of putting on new, clean sheets. But for the price i suppose you can't expect much. It was very close to the beach, broadway at the beach and the grans strand which was wonderful! Over-all we might stay again if we were on a budget.

There was mold and mildew on ceiling in main room. Also bed should've been replaced and also pillows. Also air conditioning was making very weird noises.

I think the pictures were a bit misleading. There was no table in the room, the tv had only a few channels and this was big because the hotel was so far away from popular areas. They changed the sheets every three days and house keeping asked it I wanted the bathroom cleaned. Room service came by the room as late at 3pm but on the day of check out was knocking on doors as early as 8am. Wasnt aweful but wasnt what I expected for the amount of money.

The staff kept letting themselves in the room with thier own key with out knocking very unprofessional also no continental breakfast and always had towait for coffee...

First and foremost, hotel doesn't have bed bugs! I checked for that first. Hotel room was very clean, and cleaning staff did a great job each morning. Room does need a bit of updating, but I just needed a place to rest at the end of a long day of sightseeing. No, it wasn't a fancy resort, but relatively it was a very nice place to stay. You couldn't hear people next door or above you. Most hotels, when someone flushes a toilet or turns on the water, you can hear it, not here. Very soundproof. Only complaints I have are #1, water pressure for shower could have been better. Maybe it was just my room, not sure. Or maybe I"m just used to my powerful shower at home, but I thought it could be better. #2, the mattress could have had more cusion. Again, maybe I'm just used to my comfy bed at home. I felt safe in the neighborhood. Not in a bad area. It's right next door to a Mc Donalds, and you can see the Airport from the hotel, so if you need a place close to Airport, that's the place to stay. Once in a great while I would hear an airplane.

This place should be at the least 4 stars. Had a king bed, fridge, microwave, coffee pot, great ac.room real clean.every time I come back to myrtle beach I'm staying here.

Was clean and we ll priced

Pet friendly. Heated pool. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Wish they would serve breakfast and have a microwave & refridgerator in each room.

Other than having to call to get certain things for room, since there was none, the dogs on the floor we were on didn't wake us up with barking. Bed was like a rock. May have to choose somewhere else next time.

Pro: good location. 5-10 min drive to beach, coffee in lobby, Waffle House right next door, and a great pancake house across the street Con: dirty bathtub walls, dirty carpet, rooms need an upgrade and good exterminator (bug found in sheets), staff lacking some fundamental principles of customer service

Cleanliness was an issue. Urine on the toilet rim, lots of hair throughout including the bedding.

Compared to our stay at Red Roof Inn - Brunswick it did not. No hair dryer in the bathroom (major complaint). Also there was no frig or microwave. Only coffee - no continental breakfast.

I was not impressed. At check in we were given the key to a room that some one was sleeping in! Wall are thin and the noise was loud.

It was nice but it could have been better if someone didn't flattin one of my tires as a joke it could have been different if I would have seen someone near my ride
