Really enjoyed the special treatment provided by the Support Staff

The hotel staff were really great, but the bed was so uncomfortable that it felt like I was sleeping on the floor. If you are not used to a hard mattress, find another hotel. Wasn't able to sleep the two nights at the hotel, which made having fun during the day impossible. Will never stay here again and would not recommend the hotel to anyone.

Clean, comfortable and close to NH and ME beaches and other attractions. Plenty of family dining locations nearby.

The rooms were very clean and the hotel staff was outstanding! You aren't in downtown, but it is a three minute drive, or just take the free shuttle...We are very happy that we opted to stay here and not in downtown with the expensive parking and really expensive rooms. The only complaint we had was getting woken up at 1:30 in the morning by the OBNOXIOUS wedding party outside smoking and joking...right below our window! We will never stay near the entrance of a hotel again. Not the hotels fault and it was a wedding...what are you going to do, rain on the parade? At least they didn't wake up our 1 year old. Overall, great stay, great hotel.

I had booked the hotel on the way up to Portsmouth and really had no idea what I was getting my family into....it was very nice and we were all pleased :).

Excellent

We stayed with our family for a night. The shuttle was convenient and breakfast was fine. The room was very clean and comfortable. Nice having the pool and jacuzzi. Overall, it was a great deal.

We enjoyed our stay. Especially loved the managers reception. The staff is top notch. The only thing that really needs work is the fitness center. Add a pull-up bar and some weights and it would be great

The staff was very friendly and nice. The rooms were very clean and the jacuzzi tubs in all of the king rooms were a nice surprise. The jacuzzi in the hotel was nice and hot, but that and the pool could have been a little cleaner. I like that they switched up the breakfast every day. Over all, we enjoyed our stay and will Definately return and stay many many more times to come. I highly recommend it! And you can't beat the price any where!

I think probably the only thing I can think of to complain about is that beside the closet there was only ONE big drawer that was part of the tv/refridgerator/microwave stand to put clothes in, no chest or anything......for the one night stay it was ok, but for a weekend it would have been a problem.....other than that the beds were comfortable, the bedding was very comfortable, bathroom was updated the staff was great, we woke up to a snow storm and the parking lot and walkways were sanded well.......highly recommended

Great food, good quality overall except for the guy singing for two hours in the next room from 11 pm -1 am...... We could hear him from the vent in the bathroom over the jacuzzi tub....over all it is a nice place.

Staff was awesome, and was very accomidating to our needs, rooms were very clean .

Front Desk Staff was so pleasant and helpful. Right near Route 95 and Portsmouth. Loved the pool/hot tub.

Not a lot of complaints here. The room was nice, and the staff was, also. I would recommend staying here.

Stayed only one night. definitely recommend.

We decided to stay at the Hampton for New Years Eve 2012/2013. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and they had a small guest reception from 4:30-6:30 where they offered free wine (boxed, but whatever), soda, Redhook IPA, pretzels, and popcorn to the guests. Not a bad little starter for the evening. The room was clean and comfortable and although the pool and jacuzzi were slightly overrun by kids while their parents got hammered at the pool-side table I didn't spend enough time there to care. So we went for a comedy show and to a couple bars in the center of town for New Years and it was a great time. However, with the massive amount of people in the center of town around 1:30-2AM the cabs were practically being mauled by folks trying to get a ride - not to mention it was nearly 10 degrees F outside. We decided to start walking in the direction of the hotel to get away from the large groups of people and hopefully have a chance of grabbing a cab... nope, they all just sped right on by us. We were waving cash around in the air and they still sped by us. It took about 35 minutes of walking in the freezing cold until a kind soul finally stopped and gave us a ride back. The rest of the night was enjoyable, but I'd advise you to turn the heat down in the room BEFORE you go to sleep as our room got quite stuffy with the thermostat set at 70F

This Hampton Inn lived up to the standard of quality I have encountered at other Hampton Inns.

For what we paid and got in return was a great deal. Comp breakfast was great, good selection. Friendly staff and quiet hotel. Pillows could have been better though, nothing to them! Location a bit strange and like a maze to drive to. Overall, well worth it!

My family enjoyed the hotel as it was overall quite clean, had free WiFi, free parking, a pool with hot tub and free breakfast. We were thinking about a hotel downtown, but with $12/day parking and no breakfast, we decided to stay 5 min away at the Hampton Inn. It was no big deal to drive into the downtown region (parking is $0.75 an hour at the big parkade). We also liked there was a mini fridge and a microwave - great for keeping late night snacks and milk for my young son. Would stay again!

The room had 2 queen beds. Wanted a king. One bed was poor. The other was fair at best. Sounds came right through the walls as another couple "got busy" for a morning delight. Service desk was awesome. Shuttle van was a terrific surprise to. Loved not having to drive. Didn't like being in a shopping center. Ads appeared as though the rooms had a view. Not the case. Pricing very cheap. Location would be everything for me next time.

Great location and very clean. Found it too pricy for what they were offering. Breakfast area was very small. No place to sit for most. They offer cookies at night but if you are not standing there waiting for them then forget it. Pool was good. It was quite noisy on our floor as well. Would not stay there again. Just too expensive compared to other hotels. Nothing special about it except for the location being great.

We were welcomed with a smile at check in and the lobby had very nice furniture decor . We truly loved the convenience of hot coffee and hot water, which we feel was the best feature of this hotel. The waffle maker for breakfast was a fun feature for the kids! We would stay at another Hampton Inn again.

We had to make quick arrangements to go to Portsmouth for a funeral. We had to find a pet-friendly place, and Hampton Inn was one of the few with pet-friendly rooms. All of the staff was extremely friendly. It made our unexpected travel a pleasure at a time of sadness.

It was good, except the first day for check-in. We arrived at 3:00 in the afternoon and the room wasn't ready.We come back once again and it wasn't yet ready. Finally we accessed our room at 7:00 in the evening. After that it was o.k. for the rest of our stay. Thank you

Service is good, breakfast is good and close to Kittery and DT Portsmouth. Helpful staff!

We just had a one-night stay but the room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities one would expect, the staff was friendly and the location was convenient. I would definitely return.

every thing well except for last three day we had problem with the toilet besidde every thing wellthank you

When I was making the reservation I thought the price was a little high but, after the one night stay it was worth it. The room was very comfortable and clean and the staff is awesome. I also thought the Managers time from 4:30-6:00 was a nice touch. Thank you for a great time

It was okay. Had a bunch of nuisance items to deal with - hair on the toilet, stained wash cloths, phone didn't work, TV didn't work, room key didn't work. And I am tired of the cafeteria line breakfast at Hampton. I guess I need a hotel upgrade. Had a decent price I guess and a decent location.
