Staff was friendly and also helpful with the air conditioning problem. Room had a warm atmosphere. Nice added addition was the pool.

Best part of this hotel is the breakfast in the morning--couldn't ask for more. Carpets in hallways are well worn and spotted. Laminate flooring shows any dirt or scuffs easily. Overall, priced a little high for the condition of the hotel. Front desk service: adequate. Close to IKEA.

This hotel was very clean, friendly/professional service. I had to have a package delivered during my 2 night stay and the hotel signed and kept the package for me. Would stay again!

Group of 4 males stayed at this location due to it's close proximity to our friend who lives close by, the Orlando Ale House, Florida Mall & Airport. We were attending the Rush concert at the Amway Arena in downtown Orlando, which was only about 15-20 mins away !!

I was very happy with my stay at the hotel. The friendly staff did their best while being fully booked. The front desk provided towels if the housekeeping service ran behind. They cleaned up after the morning breakfast quickly. The pool was clean, and very nice in the morning shade. A good location to the highways and local shopping. Only 1/2 hr from beach during heaving traffic.

Stayed over night for a race the next morning which required me getting up early. Stayed here before with no issues, however this stay had people at 1 and 3 am slamming doors constantly and talking very loudly. Even though this is a pet friendly hotel, i only experienced barking dogs at check in, owners probably left their dogs in room and left. also it wasn't to evident that it was pet friendly because the hotel is old anyways it just had a general musty feel to it. Great for what i needed though.

The breakfast is better than we thought it would be however the service at the hotel was terrible. They often had you waiting at the front desk for anything. Our room was not cleaned after we left and we ran out of toilet paper along with no new towels although they were left on the floor to be replaced. When we got back after going to a graduation the beds had been made but the towels were still on the floor and the room was not vacuumed. They left a kid playpen in the hallway that i hope they dont offer to guests. The room we were in was in a dark corner next to the elevator where you felt like someone could jump you by the maintenance room.

Very nice hotel very clean

You can't beat the price if you need to be in this location. The hotel is great, comfortable, clean. Only a minor complaint is that you can hear hall noises in the room. The doors need to be more sound proof, particularly when another guest decides to walk a crying baby in the hall....!?!? Not the hotel's fault, but they could do something about the doors to improve the noise level; better insulation or fits to the openings. Other than that - love the hotel for the convenience and price.

We needed somewhere to stay for one night after an event at the Bank Atlantic center. This was affordable and relatively close. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was just ok. Pretty standard motel like and fairly clean. Linens and furniture had some stains and I don't think I'd walk on the carpet barefoot. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable for both my husband and I. We made it work for the one night, but don't think we'd stay here again.

Everything was perfect except that there was sometimes a smell of cigarette in the hallways.

Clean. Quiet. Comfortable. Great house-keeping. Nice breakfast, but not exceptional. This hotel is located in an upscale industrial park. Good restaurants are within 3-6 miles from the hotel, but nothing within walking distance.

very bad hotel

The free WiFi is substandard when it is working, very low quality.

The hotel was nice enough and the area was safe. It was the closest place I could really find to the BB&T center. Was hoping to be able to walk to more restaurants and the BB&T, but it was just a little too far for that. No complaints about the hotel in general though.

I enjoyed my stay in la quinta. the hotel was more than what i expected.

We have stayed at this hotel 3 times previous and haven't have this many issues. We experienced many problems with our room. Starting from plumbing issues, cleanliness, electronic issues , pot smelling in hallway and leaking into the room & many more. We reported the problems and they asked if we wanted to change rooms. We declined. But the problems were NOT addressed the remainder of our visit. The last day of our week visit they offered us a free one night stay.

Not right by Sawgrass Mills and Bank Atlantic Center, but very close. Next door to IKEA though. There were also some restaurants across the street in a nice looking strip mall. For the low price, the hotel was nice. The hallway didn't smell great, maybe smoky, but the room didn't have the smell. The staff was very friendly and the free breakfast was fine. Strawberry flavored waffles were a hit. Bed was comfortable and the air conditioner got the room very cold, which we like.

Good impression, near of Sawgrass mall and highways. Good breakfast but ends early for visitors on vacations. Quality of service is good and efficient.

This hotel was very clean, the staff was nice and the breakfast was nice and fresh. Its really CLOSE to IKEA!!! I would stay again and again...

The hotel room was dated and the couch was worn out and stained. other than that everything was ok. Not what you would expect for the price.

Clean, good service.

Stayed one night and would have stayed longer if needed. It is an old hotel and you can tell it use to be smoking by the smell. Also pets are allowed which adds to the musky odor, but thankfully it was quiet at night. Bed was clean, there was hot water in the shower, breakfast was on par for free hotel breakfast. I would stay here again.

I arrived at one building that looked a little abandoned and it was the other one cross the street (same hotel). It looked much nicer.

The whole hotel smell like cigar. I booked a King Bed and got 2 full beds and the hotel "service" could not do anything despite I made my reservation 2 months ago

My husband and I stayed at La Quinta and the staff were very nice but the hotel is rooms are very handicap accessible. They do have handicap room but they come with either a twin or full side bed. Both my husband and I are not skinny by a long shot.

Very difficult to get to off of interstate system, room type reserved was not honored by hotel, first room given was already occupied, second room had ants in bathroom, Breakfast was limited but ok, juice was good, the coffee was not

We arrived at the hotel from cruse around noon. We were told the room would not be ready until 3 pm( Regular check in time).I was told i could leave my luggage in the meeting room,not the conceige(I don't think they have one) while I was hesitating(I don't think it is safe), a man (I think it is the manager) walked out from his office and saw us,he asked were we checking out, I told him we tried to check in but we were not able to.He then turned away and made a phone call. I guessed he was talking to the housekeeper and tried to get us a room earlier and he did. What a relief!! We checked in. The room size is very big. We have booked a non-smoking ,with 2 queen size bed. It turned out exactly what we expected. No smell, clean and tidy based on 3 star standard ( I am businessman and travel regularly all over the world).I chose this holel according to the review. i needed the hotel close to the sawgrass mill and the breakfast provided. Although this hotel is only rated 2 1/2 , I got what I needed. .

The hotel was conveniently located, but I must say a couple of things that made me rated lower. The condition of the restroom, although not bad, I wasn't expecting to see. The tub paint was coming off, the paper holder was inexistent and only a screw remain. My othe thing was that the sofa in the room was ripped and dirty and looked date like from 80s. There was no way I would have put my butt on that couch. Totally disgusting. I wanted to flipped that couch or throw it down the window. If they would have taken care of those small details, specially that couch that looked like they found and pick it up from side of a dumpster, my review would have been highter. It's the small details that make the difference. Other than that, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the linens were nice and new. The HD TV was great. It was a good stay for a night.

I was not very happy. The entire hotel smelled of stale smoke including our room. The breakfast buffet was a mess two four slice toaster and only one two side of one toaster worked. The garbage was overflowing the waffle station was discusting. Based on this stay I would not stay at another La Quinta Resort.

Confirmed room, a King bed, non-smoking. Went to BB&T show FIRST before checking in for an already paid confirmed reservation, and receptionist said there were NO rooms lett. Then, she found one last room with two doubles, which we obviously took. She neglected to tell us that it was a smoking room! We returned from the concert at 11 PM and were in no position to argue, since there were no more rooms left! My wife has a tobacco allergy and had a difficult time breathing in that stuffy room!
