The hotel is everything you expect in a Hilton, but nothing more. I have spent a significant amount of time at this hotel for conferences and have found the facilities completely adequate although I usually stay off-site at one of the boutiques. Last week I had to come into Chicago for an overnight business trip and it was one of the only good options left in the area. The price was fairly reasonable, but what you get for the price lacks some value compared to some of the newer alternatives. The room are in desperate need of a renovation, there are no chargers/docking stations in the entire hotel, so if you forget your iPhone plug you are out of luck. More than that, when I got to my room after checking in in the early evening there was a HUGE pile of garbage and broken mini-fridges right outside my door. I can understand if maintenance is working on a room that they may do something like this, but the pile was not gone the next day. It was not professional, nor did it give me any confidence in the overall cleanliness of the place.

The hotel is a bit outdated. the lobby is beautiful and the location is super. but that's about it. The room was old. The internet connection really really sucks. They first charge you internet and it drops all the time even with the premium one. Well at the end they waived the charge but it was very inconvenient for me as I was on a biz trip. I also didn't like the front door eyes. They are a bit attitudey and not very helpful. Just don't have a good experience there overall.

Great location to parks, restaurants, shopping, transportation(bus or cab to Navy Pier museums. The city is full of blooms this time of year...love, love, Our room was in the older part of the hotel, but a wonderful view of the Lake.

The decor was a little dated and the floors smelled a bit old; however, the room was really big (2 bathrooms)...not really sure why?! Great location and very easy to get a taxi anywhere...the only gripe is that the maid staff were talking very loudly outside my room at very early hours and it was very difficult to ignore them. I just wanted one more hour of sleep!

Everything was good except we were disappointed that WiFi cost $13 per day and local phone calls were a dollar fifty each...rip off!

The location was great. Everything about the accommodations were great. There is a pretty significant parking fee for parking in their garage ($45/night). This caught me a little off-guard.

Lets just say that this was the best experience I've had thus far at a hotel. Thanks to Hotels.com for finding this place close to a venue I was visiting for the weekend. Not only did I arrive to great service at the Hilton Chicago, but they complimentary UPGRADED my rooms for free!!! I will absolutely stay here again. I felt like a celebrity from day one with the service and upgrades. This is a BEAUTIFUL hotel. A MUST STAY!

Very nice recent remodel. Two bed, two bath room! no upgrade! Convenient to lakefront and attractions.

I have loved this hotel ever since i produced a conference there years ago for the American Cheese Society. I love the upgrades and extra touches of modern convenience.

I booked his hotel at a non-refundable special rate that was well below anything else on Michigan avenue. This was by far the best deal on a hotel I have ever booked. My wife and I usually book off Michigan avenue for twice the price. I thought we would be sacrificing quality but, that is far from the case. The hotel was clean an the service was great. They let us check in 4 hours early and we were able to have a night cap at Kitty O'shea's. I will always check the rates here first when visiting Chicago!

The Hilton was perfect for our trip to Chicago. We were there for 2 nights and could not have been happier with the location right on Millennium Park - about a mile from The Bean. We read reviews that the hotel was not up to date but that was not the case at all. The room was great - a bit small but we got a great deal! Will recommend to any friends/family going to Chicago.

We came to Chicago to celebrate a 40th birthday. The hotel was in a wonderful location on S. Michigan. The architecture was beautiful. It was conveniently located to tourist attractions and the train.

The Chicago Hilton has managed to maintain all of it's original glory while updating everything to look & feel brand new. A wonderful place to stay in the very center of the city with everything close at hand.

There would not be one thing that I would change about our stay at the Hilton on Michigan. The staff were very helpful and nice, the room was clean and service was equally good. Location is perfect if you don't mind a short walk in such a beautiful city. Close to the Institute of Art and just maybe 1/2 mile from shopping and great restaurants. I would highly recommend this for your next stay in Chicago.

Excellent classy hotel in a good location for sight seeing, museum visits and sports venues. When booking, agent indicated that parking was included which, in fact, upon check-in, it was not. Had to get a credit from hotel.com for the parking costs which they agreed to but took about 1/2 hour on the phone.

Love this hotel! Reasonable price for a great and clean place to saty! Higherly recommended for eveeyone.

The first floor is spectacular! The pool and gym is amazing,BUT they charge to use the gym and charge to store bags day of departure. Rooms need updating. Will stay elsewhere next time.

Overpriced very SMALL buisness king suite.... Got treated pretty crumby because we had never been there before & didn't have their fancy points! Barely enough room to move around in this OLD room! Wasn't very clean either... Not impressed at all for the 250 bucks I spent on it for one night! Don't recommend! I know I won't be going back!

Love this hotel!

Great place took my twin 8yo girls and had a great time,pool open till 10pm and snack bar till 11. Had a wonderful View of the sears tower!

We loved the hotel and all it's amenities...it's on a great location...and would recommend thus hotel to everyone...super Kool old school hotel with modern amenities.

It was amazing. The hotel looked very outdated from the outside but on the inside was breathtaking. The rooms were fabulous nd pool and hot tub (along with the view) was totally breathtaking.

Very outdated, I was disappointed in the plastic greenery, even the airport has real plants. I paid extra for parking but don't confuse that with valet, that's extra, lakeview that's extra, rooms were outdated with old rusted fixtures in the bathroom. Overall I wasn't sure I was in a Hilton property it was so run down. The area is great, located on Michigan Ave. The staff was friendly.

Excellent location, very friendly staff, nice "on the go" restaurant in lobby. Would advise getting a parking package, if driving, as savings is quite a bit!

Hotel was great!!!! Location is awesome!!!! Would recommend it to everyone!!!!

Everything had an up charge. A very expensive up charge. I was surprised about the $15 per day charge the use of the weight room and pool. Internet access was expensive. Kitty o'Sheas was closed. The snack shop charged more than the vending machines for a soda. Room service left trays of food on the floor for a full day. And this was on the executive level. Housekeeping did not stock clean towels. Just took the dirty ones and never replaced with fresh towels. Shampoo and toiletries were not replaced On a positive note. The bed was comfortable.

We got a great deal.even we had to pay extra for the gym,parking and wifi,It's easy to find cheaper parking lot around the cornor is half price as in hotel.and you always can use wifi in the lobby,also use your gym outside hotel.the location is so convenicent.you can walk to everywhere for sightseeing and great lake is so beatuiful.all in all,we loved it and we defintely will do this again in the future!

The staff at the Hilton was amazing and very accomodating. We arrived in the evening of our check-in date and without any hesitation, the man checking us in stated that since the hotel was not at capacity, they were upgrading our room! Needless to say, we felt like royalty. We were in town for a quick family getaway and my wife's birthday. We wanted to visit Shedd Aquarium and The Field Museum which were very close to the hotel. We walked everywhere we needed to go, even to Millenium Park. I would recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay here again.

The stay was wonderful. Staff and facilities were excellent. The only thing that wasn't made clear was that parking was an additional $45/day. We also found it a bit much to charge $15 for using an otherwise empty workout facility.

I stayed here with my two boys while in town for some sight seeing. This hotel has an attached parking garage, and there was a rate available that included parking which seemed a pretty good deal for the area. We walked to Yolk one block away for breakfast each morning which they loved. Also, our room had two beds with two complete bathrooms, which was VERY nice. Will stay here again.

The Hilton Chicago is a beautiful facility! It is worth the effort to visit the archive room to learn the history of the Hilton Chicago. The concierge service was exceptional.

We loved the overall quality of the hotel. Our stay was perfect.

For a luxury hotel on Michigan Avenue, it left a bit to be desired. Rooms were small and in need of updating. Dogs were barking...yes it's pet friendly. The thermostat didn't work in our first room. They "upgraded" us to a 19th floor lake view room, but it was actually a smaller room with a smaller bathroom.

Excellent accommodations. Only complaint was the cost of parking. Outlandish at $50.00 a night! Otherwise stay was great.

The hotel was close to everything we needed. The room was clean with plenty of space. Our trip was during spring break, I was worried that kids running up and down the hall would wake us early, but it was quiet. The staff from the people at the front desk to the doorman was all friendly and helpful.
