Days Inn Minot - מינוט

Hotel shows signs of age, comfortable sleep and good amenities in the room, but attention to detail leaves a little to be desired..... Dust skirt on bed was filthy, couch looked worn right out, but I understand there are a lot of oil rig crews through this hotel so it is to be expected.

Everything from check-in to check-out was pretty good. All I needed was just a place to crash for the night, and I got a decent night's sleep.

The room was clean and spacious, about what can be expected from a motel of this type. The remote for the air conditioner did not work, but that isn't a big deal. The front staff did leave something to be desired. While I wouldn't say they were completely devoid of personality, they did not come across as willing to help. They seemed to be there, because someone needed to be there. They were not welcoming and didn't respond until they were spoken, both the night and day person reacted the same way, as though you were interrupting their more important duties.

I had an awful experience at this days inn Minot. The whole place was in need of the guy from hotel impossible. Not even sure where to start. Door latch was broken on outside door, so anyone could just walk in off the street. Horrible odor in the room as I walked in, The room was dirty, I even had to clean the toilet seat before I used it. Mystery fluids hiding everywhere on walls, advertising material, and pretty much anywhere I looked hard. Worst room ever. I'm being 100 percent honest and don't even have anything against their staff or brand, but Minot Days Inn was just awful.

Coffee maker in room was missing the tray for the coffee.

The room was clean and large but cold. There was no way to control the temp. in the room. Talked to the front desk and was told that the heat was shut off in the spring. It was snowing and freezing outside. Just because a calendar says it's spring doesn't mean that it is! We were moved to another room. It was also cold. The breakfast was meager! With Perkins right next door I wouldn't waste my time.

hotel needs over haul stinks of smoke and not to clean stone pillows

Our stay was fine, I suppose, although the hotel was in very poor condition! So outdated, the bathroom door could not ever close is badly damaged! The room spelled like an ashtray although it was listed as a non smoking room! We had to leave the window open the whole time we were there! I also feel the stay working there had much to be desired! There was two young men working both days we were there, first nei=ther os them had any personality considering they were working the front desk customer service (first impression). The second young man looked like he hadn't showered in at least a week, as his hair was so greasy and then was working near the breakfast food! Anyways, the price was decent, was chances of us staying there again, are very slim

Rooms r small and smell

The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful and the public areas of the hotel were well maintained and clean. The room however needed some updating, stained carpet, older furnishing and one very small bathroom. Restaurant just next door and a continental breakfast is offered. Patron laundry was a definite bonus. Suited my needs for a quick overnight stay.

The rooms were nice and clean a little small but for the price I can't complain. They have a nice indoor pool and a good breakfast consisting of fresh made waffles, cereal or oatmeal. It was a overall good experience.

nice hotel except the beds and pillows were extremely hard and uncomfortable.

The non smoking room we stayed in smelled like cigarette smoke. So much that I could taste it. That was my first impression of the hotel and it will stick with me. It was awful. Luckily I had my own room spray there just cover the smell enough to be able to sleep there. The bed was so hard it wasn't very comfortable to sleep on. I also was not impressed with the continental breakfast. I understand there is usually not much for a continental breakfast but I've seen a lot better options at many hotels. Maybe some fruit or yogurt or bagels, it was pretty weak.

Worst hotel stay ever.

Stayed in a room with a single queen bed. I can't say that I've ever lodged in a smaller room, but it did have all the amenities specified. The biggest complaint I had was with the virtually non-existent wi-fi service for my ipad. Breakfast options were standard, but it seemed that the person looking after the area would only refill items when someone chased her down to bring it to her attention. We did not use the pool or hot tub. Two of the three front desk people I dealt with were excellent. Good room rate but I'm not sure that I would stay there again because of the physical size of the room. Very few vehicle plugs-ins available.

Room was too hot and fan made a lot of noise. Internet not working until morning.

The hotel was understaffed and while the room wasn't the cleanest--ie... pacifyer left from previous inhabitant(which tells me the cleaning staff isn't on the ball), the room was nice, location easy to get too.

Stood in line for over 30 minutes to check in. There were also a few drunk guys in the breakfast area making comments to women walking past. Otherwise the place was clean and parking was good. Rooms were small though and the door latch was about ready to fall off. If your looking for a low cost motel it isn't too bad.

A/C was very noisy.

One couple we were with didn't get a very large room compared to the other 2 rooms. The coffee supplies, fridge & mic as well as the iron were much appreciated. Hotel staff were friendly & courteous. We couldn't get our internet to work through the hotel. Enjoyed the hot tub & pool.Thanks Hotels.com for the booking & confirmation of booking. Everthing went smoothly with our check-in.

There was long black hair all over the bed sheets when we got there. Desk clerk would not work with us to get a different room. Left and stayed at the Marriot.

The stay was nice, convenient and the facilities were clean comfortable and efficient. The room was quiet. No sounds could be heard from neighboring rooms or the hallway. We had a nice, restful sleep.

Very good location,easy access and to find.

As a whole it wasn't the best We were down to minot three years ago it was much better then First thing we had to tell that our room was not cleaned up and the beds were not made up The next day they came in and pulled the bed sheets up but we had left eight pillows onone bed and one on other when we came back the same eight were on just as we had left it I was very disapointed in the service and the lack of concern over our problems

The only thing that I did not like about it was that there was no elevator there. The stairs were hard on my knees.

Staff was excellent, friendly, helpful. Location was close to highway leading to all of our destinations. We would definately stay here again.

Older hotel with dated decor, in much need of an update. Bathroom toilet was not clean. Bathroom floor had hair on it. Sink constantly dripped. Headboard and tables had dust. Looked as if they only vacuumed the floor and changed the bed sheets. Will not stay here again!

I wanted 2 reasonable rooms at an economical rate. That is what I generally got. Was satisfactory but certainly nothing special. Did not impress my guest party. Personally I found room rates in Minot to be extraordinarily high for the size of city.
