This people there were extremely kind and made sure I felt at home while I was staying there.

Great, but surprised in the charge for parking.

It was a nice hotel but our A/C did not work properly. The staff was very reassuring but it didn't help the temperature in the room. Great service though. I woul return in a different room.

Loved the Hotel and the location. I would definitely return! Having said that, however, paying for daily parking underneath the Hotel was not a plus at all.

My son and I spent one sleepless night at this hotel while visiting a local college. The staff were very pleasant and we were greeted with warm cookies. That is where the positive experience ended. The deadbolt on the door was off so much from the strike that it wouldn't close. The walls were paper thin and we could literally hear the neighbors entire phone conversation as well as his television, which was on until at least 2:00 am (even after the front desk called the room) The only way we were able to get to sleep on the incredibly lumpy & cheap pillows was to play instrumental music on my sons iPod. I would NEVER stay here again.

Walking distance to Capitol and 6th Street. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff.

Everything about our stay was great, wish it had been longer.

Very clean and well located for Austin sights of Capitol etc. Staff was friendly and helpful. Concierge recommended a great steak house (Austin Land and Cattle) that was not over the the top on price and could work with a seven year old-he was spot on. Rooms were very spacious and clean and had a kitchenette area if so desired. A door separated where the kids slept from the adults. Price was good w/ Hotels.com so overall a good experience

We will stay here again. Their two room suite is nice, big, and well appointed. They have a small balcony, kitchenette with a full size frig. You can't beat the price for all of the space you have. The distance from the bars is a non-issue when you use their shuttle service. I highly recommend The Double Tree.

I love staying at this hotel!! Tried to make reservations for daughters graduation but they didn't have openings very disappointed!

Room was both very clean an luxurious. I especially enjoyed the balcony.

Surprised at how nice it was given the star rating

it was a pleasend stay. only the price that we paid to stay in the hotel wa not included the breakfast and free wifi. for such a hotel I think they should include these future in the price.

were there for only one night, and out and about for most of it, but the moments we were in the room/hotel was outstanding

We had a wonderful stay at the Double Tree Suites by Hilton in Austin. It was only a couple blocks to the Capitol, what a great walk in the morning and really enjoyed the free shuttle service within two miles. The hotel is great if you have children because the suites are equipped with a microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher. Overall rating 5 out of 5.

Great hotel, great price, and a salt water pool!!!

Nice rooms, liked how the entry way to both rooms had doors so that both of them "connected"(Queen Suites), very clean, very comfortable...we were hoping to walk to 6th but was a bit far, they did have a shuttle drive us there which was nice

Loved this hotel. Rooms were huge. We have five of us and stayed inthe two queen suite. Door staff were super friendly. They were having problems with elevator and the room ac cooled but didn't get subzero like we like but it was fine. Only real complaint was the service at the hotel restaurant. Three different people came to take our order and it didn't come out right or all at the same time. We'll stay here again but we will eat elsewhere.

I would have appreciated knowing that the hotel charged 18 dollarsplus tax per day to park. Perhaps you could add that to the description. I parked at a meter and it still showed up on my bill. Hopefully that got corrected.

We loved our stay. Yet, the pool is 3 ft. deep all the way around and we called for towels that we never received. This was the only thing we did not like as our suite was wonderful and room service was great. Just plan on swimming in another place in Austin if you are over 3 feet tall.

First night was good, was not able to stay in my next reservation date because my husband got sick and had to go to the emergency , and I was charged for that day anyways ,other than that it was nice. Thanks

The Doubletree is a excellent hotel and the location was ideal. It is close to restraints, shopping, and 6th street for our nightly entertainment. With check in you are offered amazing cookies that will melt in your mouth!!

Do not enter into a guests room until you have given them a chance to respond. My wife and I were awakened by a knock on the door. My wife starts to get up to put some clothes on and there at the foot of the bed is a young man checking the fire response speakers in the room. Needless to say we were very shocked that a hotel of this status would be so unprofessional with the way that they performed the fire drill as well as the way that we were treated after the incident. I immediately call the front desk to inform them and suggested that before entering the room they should have used the phone to insure its vacancy, his response to me was that the phone lines were down during the fire drill without realizing that he was on the phone with me at the very moment. Althought we did recieve free continental breakfast something that is normally free anyway. Free parking and internet access was also provided. I didnt choose this hotel so that I could recieve something for free I chose it so that I would be treated with service while on my honeymoon.

The hotel is a good value except for parking which is quite expensive and adds $30 per day to bill if you include tips.

Loved it, beautiful suite. recently updated with very modern decor. The location is very convenient if you want a downtown location. Wonderful desk and valet staff. Great value for the money.

Our room was great. So close to the MS150 finish line so the walk to hotel after the ride was relatively easy. Only complaint would be the noise from the Double Tree sign being hung up on the side of the building the next morning.....woke me up earlier than I wanted to.

Lots of extra charges, parking garage was a mess with no full size vehicle parking spots. We did not receive cookies at check in. The shuttle bus was typically unavailable. I have stayed at this hotel several times and this was the worst yet!

My suite was handsome, large and completely renovated. The lobby is still under construction. Unfortunately, the service was poor. I called room service twice and they never answered. I gave up and left the hotel to find someplace to eat. In the morning there was only lukewarm water for the shower. When I called the front desk, they seemed unconcerned.
