Good service; clean; excellent pricing and convenient to the downtown are. Beds are not great

When we checked in the man at the front desk was an awesome/ helpful guy, my son loved it but he loves any hotel, the cleaning ladies were also awesome, I couldnt let them in the room BC my dog would go crazy so they let me borrow their vacuum and gave me trash bags and plenty of towels and sheets etc...they are very friendly people, the pay was great for accommodations and overall we enjoyed our time!! You should definitely check in here! H. Long :0)

My husband and I came in from Fairbanks and we're extremely happy with our two days there. The rooms were clean the staff was friendly and the location is awesome. We will definitely stay there again. The only problem is key did not work all the time But there was always somebody at the front desk to give us a new one. We are telling all our friends in Fairbanks that is the place to stay.

Parking is poor, only 10 spaces are adjacent to the hotel. The front desk lady is rude and very unhelpful. The room had gummy bears on the floor and the microwave would not work if the refrigerator was on. When the refrigerator was on it ticked loudly so we had to unplug it in order to sleep.

The night front desk person was rude and not helpful at all, seemed too pre occupied with her iPhone to be of any help. While we were waiting I saw a man ask her if their Restaurant was open and she was rude and short with him.

The Hotel staff was good. Parking was not great. We will stay there next year.Thanks !!

Not a bad stop in. Don't expect much other than a bed and shower. Perfect for a quick over nightstay but not recommended for any extended stay or casual getaway.

I like the location of this hotel it is right downtown and close to the fifth avenue mall.

It was convienient, and comfortable. I have stayed at other local affortabel hotels that were much less comfortable. The staff are very helpful and keep the hotel clean and comfortable.

Room ok, staff would not give me a ride to the airport.

Decent Hotel

Not very clean. When taking a shower water temperature constantly changed from hot to cold. No control over room temperature. This was on the fourth floor.

the hotel downtown 5th ave has the right price, close to the down town stores, but there are so many that are drinking and asking for cigarettes, trying to sell things. it's sorta uncomfortable. the desk clerks are nice and helpful.

For a discount hotel this a great place to stay - staff is friendly, rooms are clean and comfortable, not much outside noise - great place for a quick over night stay if you're looking for a good, solid basic value hotel. I've stayed here 3-4 times and have never been disappointed.

I felt like I was in the ghetto, the coffee tasted like water and the night girl was not very plesent.

The night desk clerk that worked there was very rude. We had to wait 10 minutes to get checked in. He was counting his money and would not even say hello or anything. We had to ask him to get us checked in. It was ridiculous. We were tired and were flying all day. We wanted to get to our room and retire for the night. The morning desk clerk was excellent. The shuttle guys both the times were excellent.

This place is affordable, and if you're up on business and spending little time in your room anyways and just need a place to lay your head at night, this is sufficient.

Although the cost was reasonable the staff were helpful and able to provide extra assistance when needed. Quite clean but you would not expect more for the cost. We would stay there again.

I have stayed at the Days Inn in Anchorage over 6 times. It is one of the only hotels in the area that allows pets. The front desk staff is overworked, but have always treated me fairly and tried to accomdate my requests. Since they are so busy I have found kindness goes a long way, since many customers are rude. The rooms have been clean, though the bed comfort can be hit or miss depending on the room. Love the close (walking) access to all the downtown attractions. They are basic accomodations, but that is what you pay for. I also like the off street parking behind the hotel. You can choose "indoor" rooms that are in the hotel, or there are a limted number of "outdoor" rooms that are in the courtyard and is more like a motel. We have found that smokers use these rooms (though the hotel IS non-smoking), so they can just step outside their room doors to smoke and not have to exit the building.

Only complaint was that there was a lot of noisy guests surrounding us.

The stay was fine. Most notably was Chris, at the desk who was very helpful finding a rental vehicle service that would allow use on gravel roads, i.e. Dempster Highway. She checked online and found the Go North Co. in Anchorage, which did provide the vehicle I needed. Thank you

Great location, right in downtown Anchorage. Clean, quiet hotel. Big rooms fully furnishedl Friendly staff. Parking is across the street. Free wifi. Highly recommended.

this stay was very nice i just wanted a hotel with a bed and that is what i got nothing fancy. I origonaly tried camping but realized it was to cold and wet. The room was clean and warm and had all the basic hotel stuff like i was looking for. It was pretty cheep in price but nicer then what i had exspected for the cost.

It is within walking distance of many great restaurants, bars and even the 5th street Mall. There are cab and bus services nearby as well for convenient transportation to other parts of the city.

When we first pulled up there were about 5 what looked like homeless or very rough people standing in the courtyard area. We felt very unsafe going in and out of the hotel especially at night. When we entered the lady at the front desk was not friendly. The hallway smelled like poop and the walls were very thin and we could hear the people in the room next to us, that"s all I'll say about that. The water kept changing from hot to cold throughout the shower and when we rented $10.00 movie on the TV it would switch from color to black and white. The good things about the hotel was that our room had a fridge and microwave and the shuttle bus to the airport was nice.

I arrived too late to catch the last commuter airline to Kenai, so I booked a room online at the Anchorage Comfort Inn. I chose this hotel because of the airport shuttle service, reasonable price, and the cleanliness of the hotel. (I've stayed there before.) The desk clerk and shuttle driver were courteous and efficient. The room wasn't fancy, but it was clean and had the extras like coffee, hair dryer, and WiFi. I would definitely recommend the Anchorage Comfort Inn and I will stay there again.

We checked into this hotel around 9 pm. As we pulled in, the interior courtyard and parking lot was full of loiters smoking, drinking, and hanging out on the upper balconies with unsupervised children. As we made our way to our room, we were on edge with the 'clientele', the dirty carpets, and worn down facilities. Before 11:30 pm, two extremely loud domestic disturbances occurred in the courtyard/parking lot. Then the all-night parties started in other people's room...parties which the whole hotel could hear. Needless to say, this hotel, is dirty, run-down, and not a great environment to stay in (much less take off your shoes). DO NOT STAY HERE!

This hotel is a few blocks away from the main attractions of the city all within walking distance. The staff are helpful and the airport shuttle is very quick. The only downside is that there is a bar/nightlcub across the road from it which can get a little bit noisy. There is a car rental place three blocks away which is great if you want to hire one for the day. I would stay here again.

We were lodged on the 2nd floor of the outside part of the hotel. There are tables and chairs outside the rooms, people were talking most of the night. At 8 pm I asked them to quiet down, again at 2 am.

A very servicable Hotel in a good location with an hourly shuttle to/from airport, I will be staying again.
