First room assigned was beside area being renovate, after complaining about the building noise I was reassigned a newly renovated room which was bright and comfortable

Very near underground station and plenty of places for dining. A good location especially for Oxford Street.

We pre-requested,and were allocated, a room at back. We arrived early, left our bag , had our booking and request confirmed before we went out. We returned some 2 hours after the 2 o clock check in time and were given the roomkey. The room was at the back as requested but was a mess from the previous occupants. We had to take a front room which was comfortable but noisy so my wife did not sleep.Somebody did not do their job in a room already allocated.

We stayed here for its close proximity to The Gate Theatre. Check-in was painfully slow and the staff did not seem to know what they were doing. The decor is tired and not what you'd expect from the Hilton name. The room was okay, but could have been cleaner, and the shower was either scolding hot or cold. Won't complain too much for the sub £100 a night rate, but there's far better out there.

it was ok once they acceded to my request to change room. then there was terrible noise the next day at 9am with building work which they said was impossible to do anything aboutAt first they were also very reluctant to relocate me to a room which had been refurbished only one floor has been upgraded so far so beware the pictures of the rooms are for only 20 odd rooms on the 5th floor

All we needed was a one night stay, and it was comfortable for that purpose. It wasn't modern or chic in any way, it didn't provide Wifi but the TV was enjoyable. The bed was in fact two singles pushed together which was highly disappointing for our romantic getaway.

Good size room, nice and clean. However, room was very cold and the hallways were in very poor condition compared to the rooms themselves.

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. It was fine, very good value at the rate I payed and the breakfast was plentiful and good quality.Only 2 small issues it was difficult to adjust the heating in my room is seemed to be set at 19.5 C which was not warm enough for a bitterly cold January, I managed to turn it up but only after much fiddling.Also I have had a problem with my 'deposit ' money going back into my bank account. It seemed to have got stuck somehow and I had to contact both my bank and the hotel to rectify this. Overall though a good stay in a comfortable, clean and conveniently located hotel.

Hotel location great just a short walk from Queensway. Even though hotel is being renovated we were not disrupted at all. Found hotel clean and breakfast was superb. Was good value for London would definiitely book again.

OVERALL EVERYTHING WAS TIP TOP . JUST TWO SMALL CRITICISMS . 1 THE LADY ON THE FRONT DESK WHO CHECKED US IN WAS VERY RUDE , ESPECIALLY WHEN THE BOOKING HAD NOT SHOWN OUR 2 CHILDREN ON THE ROOM , ONE AGED 3 THE OTHER 2 MONTHS . SHE TREATED US LIKE WE WERE BOTHERING HER AND HAD A VERY BAD ATTITUDE . 2 WE RETURNED AT 11.00 A.M. PRIOR TO CHECK OUT SO OUR BABY COULD TAKE A NAP AND WORKMEN WERE DRILLING ON THE HOTEL EXTERIOR , SOMETHING WE WERE UNINFORMED OF . OTHERWISE THE HOTEL IS EXCELLENT , ESPECIALLY THE BREAKFAST AND ROOM SERVICE .

We had a very pleasant stay at The London Hyde Park Hotel; it was an excellent hotel. The hotel was undergoing some renovations, but everything seemed in good working condition, and the only noise was during the day when we weren't really around (we only heard it when we checked in, or if we popped back in the afternoon to change or drop things off in our room). Our room was quite comfortable, though we weren't spending much time there. It was a little on the chilly side, but then again, I was sleeping in the bed furthest from the heater, closest to the window. Sleeping with the covers on was fine, but if you were just sitting in the room, you'd need a sweater. We arrived early due to our flight times, and hoped to be allowed to leave our luggage in storage until checkin-in; however, we were pleasantly surprised to be told our room was ready and we were able to check in before noon, which was fantastic. The location is wonderful - the hotel is located in between two Tube stations - Notting Hill Gate and Queensgate - offering easy access to the Central and Circle lines. The staff were quite friendly and helpful, and storing luggage after check-out was very easy and convenient, for those of us that had late flights out. My only complaint is that while there is free WiFi in the lobby of the hotel, there is no access in the rooms. Whenever we had to look something up or contact anyone online, we had to sit on a bench in the lobby or pop into the lounge/restaurant area.

Was able to check in early (before 1PM I think?)which was extremely convenient as we'd arrived around 11AM. Took about 30 mins from Heathrow and only needed to switch trains once which was very easy. Underground station is literally a 2 mins walk away from the hotel. Didn't make use of any of the services to be able to rate them or say anything really. All in all a decent stay.

Walking distance to Kensington Palace, Notting Hill and Portobello Road. Transportation in London is very easy, once you get the hang of it. Tour bus is right outside of the hotel as is the regular bus stop. The tube is within walking distance (a couple of blocks) and there are lots of places to have a bite. Breakfast at the hotel was yummy and filling. The only negative is that you cannot get wifi in the room so you must pay for internet. Other than that, my room was always very clean and the staff was friendly! :)

Whilst the room was a good price, the room was stuffy, bed linen old and frayed the bathroom was not clean and we were provided one tired towel between us

Very centrally located close to Hyde Park and Queensway station. It was only a few minutes walk to the subway. Clean and spacious rooms. We were a bit unlucky and experienced construction work outside the room and there was a little noise between rooms, but no more than that it went well. We had trouble regulating air conditioning and we froze at night. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The breakfast was good and fairly rich, but became a bit boring after several days. Missing, however, a fridge and a safe in the room. May well come back to this hotel.

Common areas dreary tired and grubby. Room Clean and comfortable but also tired and drab. The hotel staff absolutely delightful.

I stayed in this hotel for a night while on a trip through Great Britain. I had stayed at another area hotel during my trip and this hotel was much nicer, though in the same price range. Room had a nice view of Hyde Park and was super close to a tube station. Room was quite large (compared to everywhere else I stayed on my trip) and had a nice bathroom and flat screen tv. Downside was we rented a "king" room which turned out to be two twin matresses pushed together. Not too comfortable... Other than that, no complaints. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Check in was efficient. Room was clean and spacious. I'd stay there again. It is on a major street and I could see it getting a bit noisy, but we had no problems.

A former Ramada property that has seen its better days. There is no obvious owner displayed anywhere (however, Hilton rewards were displayed on reception, but very low key. Embarrassed perhaps?). Reception was very efficient, breakfast staff less so. Room was clean and quiet, but emphasised the tiredness of the property. Retro feel and missing enamel from the bath. However, room was functional and comfortable. A hotel in this aged state, should not command the high price tag I [my company] paid.

We are from New York . Stay in London hyde park hotel for five nights. We are so happy to choice this hotel. It is good location to go around. we were taking tub and buses every day. room is very clean and bed is comfortable. Breakfast is lovely. london is great city to visit. the London Hyde park hotel is great place to stay in London. thanks

This location is wonderful as the hop on and off bus stops right in front of the hotel. Tube stations were only a few minutes walk away and so were the city buses, restaurants and small shopping. The hotel was clean, the staff extremely helpful and all in all this was a great centre to explore London.

The hotel was pleasant, clean throughout, and well kept. Bedrooms were fine, although one of the beds was a little tired and sagging. Check-in and checkout were a little slow. Breakfast buffet very good. An easy walk to Nottinghill Gate or Queensway tube stations.

Nothing outstanding but a solid place to stay. Nice area and fairly close to underground with places to eat nearby.

I had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. Spatious room and comfortable bed. Also so close to Hyde Park and two tube stations. I would stay there again!

Staff were lovely. Couldn't do enough for you.Great breakfast and very comfortable bed.

Central London location, just across the road from Kensington Gardens/Hyde Park. Few hundred yards from Queensway tube station on the Central Line. Friendly staff, room was clean, bathroom a little basic but adequate. Unfortunately couldn't get the radiator working on the second night of our stay but it was June so probably heating wasn't running efficiently.

Great staff who were very helpful with our request for a very quiet room We were also able to have a meal really late into the evening when we arrived

very happy with location, rooms a bit dated bath was quite grubby.Dinner was lovely couldnt fault it, breakfast was ok but both mornings had nearly finished before coffee arrived despite asking.

good experience in this my 1st stay at your Hotel, however disappointed at lack of toiletries available in bathroom. Only one small shampoo and one small shower gel for 2 people !!! Not what I normally have in 4 star accom. Great location for our BIG CHORUS in Royal Albert Hall.

We found the location to be very good close to transport and many restaurants and the wonderful Kensington Park just across the street. The staff was very friendly, helpsome and knowledgeable and provide good and correct information. The room was clean and comfortable.

Terrible service in the restaurant/bar. We also had to endure construction on our floor early in the morning.

More like 2 or 3 star accomodation. Room size was okay but decoration needs attention and is in need of updating as do the corridors, carpets etc. Our room only had a shower which was fine but the grouting was black with mildew/mould and some tiles and the basin were cracked, not very nice ! On the plus side location is good with Queensway tube station just up the road and Kensington Palace a short walk a way.

We were very happy with our stay, close to tube and and all amenities, staff were friendly and the room had everything in it you need, would stay again.

On arrival we were greeted by a very cheery receptionist, the room was clean and very comfortable, the food was of a very good quality and i will definitly stay here again.
