They certainly need to improve their service, especially those in the restaurant.

I like the area best, but the room sizes were too small for any stay over one night and then not with anyone with you.... We were tripping over one another the whole time..... I got home, and for the first time in my life I recognized how much I took space for granted..... I've never been in prison, but perhaps they can understand....

Service and location were perfect. Room not massive, but normal by London standards. WiFi is a bit flakey - keeps logging you out. Minor issue though for a great hotel in a perfect spot.

Absolutely splendid. The Hotel is great and the location is just outside all of the hustle and bustle. Couldn't be better. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Great hotel. Great service. We loved every bit of our stay.

This was great value; the staff friendly and very helpful. Room: quality of a high order. Only drawback: room too crowded and little space to sit and watch tv. Difficult for 2 persons to move around easily. Ideal location if you want to walk to a pub, get eats at good priced eateries, and see central London.

The hotel was clean, friendly and very convenient for what my son and I wanted to do for his birthday while in London. The staff was very helpful in giving reviews of places we wanted to visit. (Richard/Concierge). My son arrived very late. Receptionist (Kat) left a note for my son to receive a key and also made a special note that it was his birthday the next day. The hotel sent a very nice chocolate cake. It made his day. Bellhop (Fabio) was very helpful with directions and helping me organize a ride to my onward destination in England. Overall, I stay was fantastic. The hotel was convenient to Underground and walking. The room was comfortable, clean and had very good internet reception. Top marks overall. Thanks for the nice stay Cavendish.

The bed and pillows were so comfortable, bathroom big and spacious. We were on the 10th floor with great views of the city skyline. Staff were very helpful and friendly, and the location couldn't have been better for our needs. Breakfeast was delicious. We will certainly stay in this hotel again.

We upgraded our room which was well worth it. as the standard rooms are small. Excellent hotel, fabulous location. Minutes from the tube. Nicely run Hotel. Fabulous breakfast. Did us until the evening

Hotel was quiet yet it's located in a very convenient location! Lots of great shops around for food, cloth and toys (Hamley's is 10 minutes walk). the only downfall isno free Internet!

Although I had requested a room with twin beds several days before arrival I was charged an "Upgrade" fee when we checked in. This was a dishonest ploy to pad my bill and made our stay less than enjoyable.Thank you.

I was underwhelmed by the Cavendish and I am quite surprised at how well it scores on review sites. Rooms are extremely small even by the standards of large cities such as London. WiFi is expensive and there sent even free WiFi in the lobby. When will hotels learn that the customer now expects WiFi in the same way that we expect a pillow on the bed! One of our rooms was located beside a lift shaft and the sound insulation was inadequate. Meanwhile on every occasion we needed to use the lifts, one (of 3) was out of service and, in the mornings, one of the remaining two was regularly being used by housekeeping. I won't be back.

This was our second stay at the Cavendish and we will use it again. This year we were unlucky in that our room was a bit too small and the bed too soft. The hotel did something about the bed as soon as we told them it was a problem. The staff are very professional, the hotel lobby and bar areas are comfortable and the food is good.

The staff was very polite, the room very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much. We also appreciated the upgrade.

The Cavendish turned out to be an almost perfect hotel experience at a very reasonable rate. The location (right off Picadilly Circus, across from Fortnum and Mason) could not have been bettered and was ideal when some public transportation was not available over the Christmas holidays. The staff were all very helpful and friendly, offering advice and promprt service even when booking extras not offered or even in competition with those of the hotel. The restaurant food was delicious. The hotel itself has been recently updated, and the rooms were extremely comfortable -- my only (minor) complaint was the size of the closets. We will definitely return to the Cavendish on our next visit.

We have stayed many times as both service, location and hotel have been great. Since then there have been lots of little cuts like no more slippers wifi extra and bathroom accsesories have been cut. The welcome on arrival was very curt and unfriendly which was dissapointing. Mentioned it to managment the next day and it shocked them, did make a kind gesture.

Beautiful hotel in the perfect location. Close to Piccadilly Circus, the parks, the tube and plenty of places to eat. The Concierge was particularly helpful in helping us get around town and finding the perfect place for a birthday dinner. Will definitely stay here next time we're in London.

Westminster area. Within walking distance to Picadilly, Leicester Square (restaurants, casinos, movies) Westminster Abbey and Buckingham Palace. Fabulous service. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms are small, upgrading recommended if staying 4 or more nights. Very clean. Bathrooms large. Will return for business or leisure travel.

I was expecting a nice "4 Star" Hotel, but we got was, in my opinion a 5 1/2 star hotel! I don't know what else anyone could ask for to keep it from having a 5 star rating! There is an in-room expresso maker with different types of coffee, a HUGE tub in the extravagantly appointed bathroom (complete with 2 luxurious robes AND slippers, a bose surround sound ipod dock with remote control and a fantastically comfortable king-sized bed with wonderfully soft lines, pillows and comfortors. I couldn't think of anythig else I would have needed that wasn't already in the room. The hotel staff were friendly & professional - 2 concierge staff at the desk who were able to connect us to the tours we wanted, complete with maps and personal directions and recommendations for theater & dinner! I booked at the Cavendish because it looked nice on Hotels.com, but I will INTENTIONALLY book again! Great place, close to everthing you may want to see in London!

We were so very pleased with The Cavendish London from the moment we arrived to the time we had to leave. The hotel lobby is welcoming with lovely funishings and an extremely helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are large for Europe, nicely decorated and very clean. The corridors are quiet and we heard no noise from surrounding rooms our entire stay. The location is within a short walking distance of Picadilly Circus and the tube stations, which is very convenient. We would recommend this hotel as top quality all around. If we visit London again, The Cavendish London will be the hotel we choose!

This is a very nice hotel. The superior room was very small but the bed was very comfortable.

small room but very comfortable and great food to go with perfect location

The room was very modern and clean. The shower was good and the hair dryer way above par for Europe. I accidentally left a diamond ring by the sink one day and it was just where I left it when I returned. The TV was a little temperamental (though very nice) and I wished the wifi was free, but everything else was highly satisfactory.

Very good hotel. Room always clean and tidy, bed very comfortable. Good breakfast but you can do better for less walking 50 meters out of the hotel. Location cant be beat and very quite considering just off Picadilly. Would stay there again.

Staff were very helpful. A pleasure to stay here.
