Hilton Crystal City at National Airport - ארלינגטון

WATER WAS CUT OFF FOR REPAIRS AT MIDNIGHT AND WAS TO BE TURNED BACK ON AT 6:00 AM. WATER WAS TURNED ON AT ABOUT 11:00 AM.

The staff was amazing. However, there was an inch of water in the hallway being wet vacuumed at 6 AM. The vacuuming went on for hours. There was no hot water in the morning to shower with. The tank of our toilet shot water all over the room. The hotel maintenance definitely had issues. The staff did what they could, I suppose, but it was a disaster.

We enjoyed the location but there is no good spot for loading and unloading the vehicle except in the parking garage which we found a little tricky finding. The room was nice but the bathroom was far from spacious.

Hotel is undergoing some remodeling but it's very nice and convenient to the airport and Metro.

Lobby is very tired and needs up-lifting.

Good hotel with good friendly service

there under construction.....................................................and they gave me a room that already had a guest staying in it.........................not what you expect from a Hilton..............I would not recommend until there finished the construction!!!!!ouch............

I chose this hotel because of its proximity to the area that we were visiting, great neighborhood. That is probably the best feature about this hotel, why does the Hilton charge for internet, I could get free internet at Hotel 6. I totally forgot about this annoying requirement, but location was a must. Big rooms with tiny bathrooms, my wife and I could not be in there at the same time(we are in the small size). The light in the rooms makes you feel as if it was a lounge, what gives? No light over the shower and sconces that give a glow and nothing else, one looks forward to daylight so that you can see around. Just in case you don't feel welcome, they charge for parking. Things got even worse when on Sunday morning the noise of drilling and hammering woke us up and could not rest in peace and quiet. Next time in Alexandria will not find us at the Hilton.

It was ok

The room was good and Housekeeping excellent. Had bed and breakfast included which was a big big mistake. On 2/17/13 went down for breakfast at 9.30 am and all the dishes were empty. Even the Bread stand was empty. Mind you the breakfast time was till 11am. It took them over 40 minutes to bring the breakfast items. All along there excuse was that they are renovating. Why take so many guests if you can not manage. Waiting 40 minutes for breakfast is not acceptable. Half the guests walked away in disgust.

It was very comfortable. Many of the rooms are rennovated...and they are doing more. VERY nice accomodations. Only downside is the $24 a day parking.

Was as expected for a Hilton hotel.

It was early Friday evening and I had to print a document and make copies for a meeting Saturday morning. Their available printer was out of toner/ink and was serviced only by an outsourcer and the copy machine was out of order. I had to drive to a Staples about a mile away to print and make copies. Fortunately I got there before they closed. Since wi-fi access costs $12.95 for 24 hours I would expect better service. I did inform the desk that it was unacceptable and only got a nod of agreement.

The price was good and shuttle takes people to and from the subway.

Room needs to have refrigerator.

Located in a good neighborhood as well as near public transport this Hilton provides a great inexpensive option for stay near Washington, D.C.

The hotel was great and the service was outstanding.

For a Hilton, I for some reason expected more. The bathroom was no more than your average bathroom with a little "glamour". The pillows and bed was alright. Pretty great for a hotel though. Also, why do you pay so much money and then need to pay for internet, which is wired. If you're just passing through, this hotel is great. If you plan on more than one night find another hotel.

We stayed at the Hilton because of the proximity to the airport and the special rate. However, the good room rate was offset by the rediculous overnight parking rate which I had not seen noted in other reviews. Overall, I was not impressed. We usually stay at Choice Hotels properties and have found them to be at least as comfortable at rates comparable to what we paid at the Hilton.

Great hotel, clean and modern. I like the area it's in, there's lots to do but don't stay here if u want parking! Otherwise you'll pay $24 per night! That's an additional $50 to your tab if u stay the weekend, unless ur lucky to grab a metered space nearby which is only free after 630pm on Saturday thru Sunday!

It was great to have queen beds, be close to the airport and across the street from the rental car company. Hotel was gorgeous, unfortunately we didn't have time to eat or use any of the amenities due to checking in late and leaving at 5:30am. On Sundays you can park on the street at meters for free from 8pm to 6am, so we lucked out and didn't have to pay for hotel parking.

Convenient location, comfortable beds, rooms were clean and staff was helpful. Hilton tied up $150 on my card to cover $48 in parking charges for several days after my stay which seemed excessive. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying here again.

I had to stay in DC to try to catch a standby flight on Thanksgiving Day. Found a great deal on hotels.com mobile. Really nice time. Thank you.

The hotel is in a prime location within Crystal City; however, my stay was not great. I reserved a standard King and the bathroom was so tiny. One of the telephones in the room did not work, and when I used the phone that did work to call the front desk, no one was available. We went to get breakfast downstairs and they were understaff. I'm sure I will not stay there again.

I would give this Hilton a 3.5, primarily for its cleanliness, surrounding neighborhood, and convenience to the airport, local metro and shopping areas. Beyond that initial convenience, it felt like a lower quality stay, one that I wouldn't normally associate with the Hilton brand. The room's AC unit was loud and rattled sporadically while in use. The shower's water pressure was too poor to rinse off soap, much less get shampoo out of our hair. Conveniences such as breakfast, wifi, and parking were all additional charges. I understand parking in DC is at a premium, internet access costs money, and food costs money, but charging on top of room fare for what have become common services in hotels that cost far less just feels like wringing that much more out of guests.

Nice place. Had to fly to DC on emergency business and stayed a couple days. Rooms were very comfortable, and the staff courteous. If I need to stay in DC again, this will be the place.

Needed a room last minute in the city for an early morning flight out of DCA. Scored a great rate on hotel.com, perfect for a last minute short stay!

I loved my stay it was relaxing even it was a Saturday night

Okay hotel. I guess I was expecting the hotel to be a bit more posh, but it seemed like any other hotel. Clean and decent. just nothing special.

I love to stay at Hiltons. Their service is second to none. Clean rooms and great staff. What else could anyone one?

Stayed here for one night for Halloween, booked the room in advance, place was over priced and over rated, $24 to park in the parking garage and a $50 non refundable incident charge to my room even if there was no accident, the business center was terrible, non of the printers worked, Internet was outragesly priced. The room was clean, but the water pressure was bad in the shower and the bed and pillows were aweful which caused for a bad nights sleep. I would not recommend staying here
