Would book it again, 4 friends fit so comfortably and love the lounge accommodation in the suite level.

Very convenient to the airport. The staff could not have been nicer. We had a friendly greeting from everyone each morning. The rooms are spacious and comfortable.

The hotel was clean and in a great location. I just wish we had more time to spend there as we were just passing through. Granddaughter loved those cookies!

Everything was great! Cookies are delicious! Over great ppl service.

Everything was good. Bed was very comfy and the room was clean with the exception of the second day when housekeeping left the two used glasses there along with new ones? The only other minor issue was that I requested a refrigerator at check in and ended up having to call twice before it was actually brought up.

Just one condition. Didn't have a fridge and microwave. With kids it was a hassle keeping milk cold and warm up leftovers. So had to trash out leftovers.

We were there for the Rihanna concert and the check in was great, we got a warm chocolate chip cookie. The room had a nice balcony. When we got back to our room there was a sewer smell in our room. We called down an a engineer came to look into it right away. We asked to be moved an we were to a first floor room. They asked if there was anything else they could do an my friend said breakfast would be nice an they gave us 5 breakfast passes. They were actually discounts because if you got more than a continental breakfast it was 20$ so all we had to pay was 5$ per person. Overall the hotel was very nice looking room were a little dated but good enough for a one nights stay. Also they do have a parking fee which I didn't see when booking for 19$. I wasn't too happy about that but what can you do. I guess it wasn't that bad considering other places I've stayed in the bay area are much higher.

Room was large and roomy. It had an older feel but was clean. The bed was very comfortable. My daughter loved the heated outdoor pool. Food prices were very high. I would come back!

Does that mean that the review I submitted didn't fit your guidelines because my personnel information was that the price changed after I tried to book the room? I know I didn't violate any of your other guidelines.

My reservation with hotels.com said that I get free in-room internet access but it was not included in the "standard room" according to the gal at the front desk. She also said that hotels.com should not have offered free internet access, that it was an "unfortunate mistake", ad infinitum, ad nauseam. And, what's the first thing you see when you walk in the room at the San Jose Doubletree? A 30 cent bottle of water for sale at the low, low price of $2.50. Yeah, thanks a lot, you've made me feel really bloody welcome. I think that players in the hotel business view paying customers as walking wallets to be fleeced at every turn. I think I'll just stay home from now on, travelling just ain't worth it anymore.

Typical airport for high end business travelers. Well maintained with friendly and efficient staff. Housekeeping was top notch. Had room on concierge level. Nobody at front desk was able to tell us when amenities were available . Juice, breakfast bars and soda pop were only offerings. Never any tea or coffee. Disappointing ! Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. Would reccomend for business traveler or somebody wanting to relax while sightseeing.

Desk clerk at check in was very nice. Hotel was pet friendly and right near the airport.

Everything at the hotel was great, except the room Air Conditioner. It was controlled by movement in the room, which is understandable to keep people from leaving it on all the time. However, at night, it got too hot inside and we needed a fan or cool air. Unfortunately, you have to keep getting up for the fan to turn on! That was the only pain and discomfort we had. It would be great to give guests control of the AC.

Staff was very hospitable. Room looked well kept & the cookies are amazing! Lol I'd recommend to anyone.

Parking should be included with the room at no extra charge. The parking area is not gated and for that area...it should be.

many rooms face outward overlooking carparking, so you open yuor curtains in the morning everyone can see into your room.The most annoying thing are the flies or little gnats that are in the bar TV area.Every time I sat there with friends and someone ordered food there was at least one or two gnats flying around.This indicates very poor hygiene and I would never eat here.

I loved our stay at double tree... Very easy find and accessible to freeway or airport...Made our travel to San Jose and San Francisco for College visits for our daughters made our weekend very good. Thank you!

We have stayed here before and love the room. We had a great view. I don't think we saw on the description though that there was a $20 parking pass we had to have in order to park anywhere close. It was a secured lot but still wish we knew about the extra $20. They were kind enough to give us the 2nd one free but only because they saw my "displeasure" with the extra money. Overall, a very nice hotel, very nice room.

The room was clean and the staff was very nice. Very close to down town San Jose and freeways. I drove so I had to pay $19.00 for parking so in this case I will not stay here again as there are other hotels just as nice with no parking fees and that offer a free breakfast.

My stay was decent but I wasn't pleased with the parking fee of $19/day.

This was a quick overnight before flying out the next day. Beautiful grounds. The service was top notch, friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean and temperature was controllable to my liking. Had drinks at the bar, which was open and comfortable. There are a few restaurants on site, but we ate across the street at the sports pub in the casino and the food was awesome-service not so much. Varied menu. the location to the airport is fantastic with a 5 minute shuttle. Will definitely stay here again!

Hotel room was dirty! We found a dirty shirt under one of the beds. When we told front desk they offered to give us gift cards for another stay....not really looking to staying here again.

Old hotel, run down, phones didn't work in room. Did not have park and fly as advertised. Will not stay there ever again

Service was very good, however upon moving the hasack away from the single comfort chair in the room, there was a half drunk juice bottle. In the closet in a corner sat a throw-away razor and in front of the sink, the (carpeted) floor was wet. I understand house cleaning may not have known of the wet floor, the others should have been seen.

New Year's Eve and I had to fly out the next morning. The line to check in was very long, but went very fast, and everyone very pleasant. Extremely courteous staff, everyone went out of their way to make sure guests were doing well. Would have not known by the staff's pleasant attitude that they were that busy. Would stay again.

the hotel is nice over all except their fee for parking annoyed me a lot. i was not i formed i have to pay $20 for parking i was just asked if i have a car and i was given a pass.$10 is cool or even $15 is pushing it, when their is free parking across the street or even at the casino on the other side.

Splended Hotel, Superior room,and Super Service

4 night stay. All went well.

My family and I were passing through en route to Southern California. San Jose was a convenient stop, and this hotel was perfect for our quick stay. The price was right, the hotel was clean and quiet. I will definitely stay here again. The mini starbucks in the lobby was a bonus in the morning. No complaints.
