Red Lion Inn Missoula - מיסולה

Great location close enough to downtown but not burdened by being in the middle. Love Red lion always know what I'm gonna get plus Clean and affordable would definitely stay again

Nice room. Two sinks, 1 Queen bed. Perfect for two people. However, room was over crowded with misc. furniture not needed for stay. Otherwise, very comfortable.

Room smelled of smoke. I had to leave to door ajar to be able to breathe comfortably. Coffee pot was grungy. Not a fan of hotels with door accessed from the outdoors and no lobby. Location was fairly good but I would avoid staying here again.

My room appeared to be hand-cap accessible as it only had a large shower stall and no bathtub. It had wide doorways and the sink was really low for a wheel-chair. The only strange part was that it was on the second floor - and there was no elevator. So….I'm not sure how anyone in a wheel-chair would ever get up the stairs to this room. Strange.

Close to the hospital and diagnostic center (St Patrick's). Not sure if the room had been completely serviced prior to our arrival; there was only one bar of soap and one small bottle of shampoo. The remainder of the tray for amenities was empty. They are pet-friendly however.

I thought that the room was nice and the bathroom also, the biggest problem was that there was no cooling in the room and the heat had been previously turned on. It had to be 90 degrees in the room all night long because there was no air conditioning in the room. We finally were reduced to opening the door and leaving it propped open with a chair from 5 a.m. on. Thank goodness that part of town wasn't too crazy.

The location was great. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. The only issue was no A/C in the room and it was very warm. I spoke to the manager and unfortunately in Montana it had been snowing the week before and they hadn't switched the system over to have A/C yet. Luckily the bed was so comfortable it made up for some of the heat issues. Overall, not a bad stay.

Staff was excellent. Rooms were a good, clean basic room. We stayed in two rooms while we were there. 2ND floor only had a shower and no micro or refridge. I had a hard time with the stairs so they moved us to ground floor which was greatly appreciated. That room had a tub, micro and fridge. They had a good breakfast. The location was great for my early morning apt. at the hospital. Parking is difficult in that area and we were able to just walk. Will stay there again!

Over all we had a good experience at the Red Lion. Our original plan was for Sunday night for an early morning Monday apt. We decided to go a day early and they were very accommodating. They put us on the second floor and I had a hard time with the stairs so they moved us to the first floor for the second night. Staff was Very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was fine, not as many choices as other places. Will stay there again when we are in town.

this is an older hotel, but has been well maintained and updated. Ideal location for accessing downtown Missoula. The breakfast was nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room was great and the hotel amenities were fine. We stayed here for a wedding and was very happy with the accommodations.

Convenient to downtown, across the street from parks and river. Surprisingly wonderful breakfast buffet. Arrangement of furniture in room is such that cannot pass between bed and entertainment center when doors to the TV cabinet are open. Just a minor annoyance.

Hotel was located near a lot of stuff in downtown Missoula...We were able to walk to dinner every night, within walking distance of local brew pubs and the Wilma theater. Room was clean and comfortable--our room had a fridge and microwave which were nice/clean. Pool/Hot tub are only seasonal so we didnt get to use them. Rooms had external doors--kinda motel style, but it was nice to be able to park close to room. Also an easy drive to the Montana Snowbowl from this hotel. All interactions with employees were pleasent.

It was a great stay. The staff was wonderful. They helped find the great places in town to eat. I forgot my t-shirt and they mailed it to me free of charge. Love Missoula and will stay there again.

I love the beds..... I sleep so well. Bathroom shower a bit dated but over a great convient place to stay. The breakfast is getting better.... But I think they could do a little something different. Great helpful staff.

The room was nice enough. But they fail to disclose that the spa is outdoors and closed during the winter. It shows the pool is closed in the winter, but doesn't say anything about the spa being closed as well. This was very disappointing because I booked the hotel expecting to use the spa. I will never stay here again during the winter months.

everything that i needed, clean, friendly, local, and convenient.

Our stay was awesome! we were down there to have fun and stay in a comfortable room and it was a perfect place for us!!! The hotel attendant was very friendly and made us feel at home :)

The clerk who was working when we checked in was very nice. The rooms were fine - comfortable, warm, quiet. You could see the wear and tear showing on some items (like an arm chair was dingy or the grout wasn't bright) but absolutely nothing dirty, broken, or bad. I'd stay there again - especially because all Red Lions are dog-friendly. We were headed to the airport early the next morning and it was very convenient.

My only complaint is that the TV is in an armoire with doors that prevented viewing it from the nice easy chair that was in the room - otherwise it was clean, comfortable and the people were friendly.

Two separate stays. The first okay. A very dated motel, but clean. The second stay was less than adequate. To open the door required using your shoulder to force it open. And then you were greeted with the overwhelming use of scent sanitizer. It took hours for it to disperse even with the door to outside freezing temperatures.

The only thing that really bothered us on our stay was that the manager knocked on our door and opened it around 930 am. We had been downtown the night before and were really looking forward to sleeping in for that reason, and we were on vacation. Don't open your guests doors before 10am!

It was a comfortable and relaxing stay. The room was clean and spacious.The bed was comfy. I had my dog with me and my room was on the ground floor with a small lawn area located nearby for her needs. It was within walking distance of downtown. I found that convenient as I met some friends for dinner and drinks and enjoyed a walk back to the hotel. The staff was pleasant and able to answer all of my questions. I will definitely stay there again!

Stay was wonderful- I arrived at room quite late - check in was very speedy! Young lady was very nice! Room was spacious. Thank-you

For what we paid, the quality and cleanliness of the hotel was unacceptable. I have stayed at better hotel 6's. The service was also horrible.

Pleasant environment, clean room, good free breakfast. But out of order air conditioner put a big damper on my overall experience...had to sleep in about 80 degree temperature when I'm normally used to sleeping at 65 degrees...

Generally very nice people - Alana and Sara - to name two. Met Emily, the housekeeper on our way out, she was delightful too. On Sunday morning, I asked if a document related to leasing a home could be scanned and e-mailed, and was assured it would be. After checking back repeatedly during the day every 90 minutes or so, I was told "in just a few minutes". By 4:30pm, I was told to go to a FedEx/Kinko's to do it myself. I did. The next morning at ~ 9:00, I got an e-mail confirming that the document had been scanned and faxed, almost 24 hours later! That didn't do me any good. I also reported a live bat hanging just outside our room door (unit # 139), and it was still there on check-out, nearly two days after I reported it. Lastly, the sole desktop PC available for guests went dead during our stay. When I inquired as to when it would be replaced, I got a vague reply "we ordered a new one, I don't know when it'll be here". No offer of an alternative at all. So, just a few things that were less than satisfying to me as a guest. Thanks.

Quick overnight stay in Missoula for business, and was very happy. The pillows were super soft and the hot tub was perfect for the end of a long day.

The service was excellent, the rooms comfortable, and breakst offers great variety.

Staff was very friendly. Lobby clean and nice. They put in a nice breakfast, however the seating was all tall stools, and and I had a hard time trying to seat my handicapped mother.The beds were very comfortable. Our room however was not cleaned well. There was left over dog kibble on the floor from the previous tenant and the shower stall had black mold in the crevices. The entire bathroom is in need of maintenance,grout and stripping are peeling off visibly,as well as the bathroom floor dirty and dusty.

The room was old - the chair and foot stool were stained and dirty. The hot tub was out of order.Breakfast was okay and the staff were deilightful

This is an older hotel which has been refurbished. New furnishings are pleasant and room is very basic. 2 comfortable chairs in the room. Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Pet rooms were located near outdoor pet space.

Overall the location is great. You can walk a few blocks to most downtown shops and restaurants. If you have kids, the Carousel and park are a slightly longer walk, but well worth it. The hotel has a nice pool and hot tub. My only real complaint was the shower is in serious need of an overhaul - the tiles were mildewed and the floor of the shower appeared to have stains beyond cleaning.

My room was fine but it was not ready at 3 pm. The desk clerk was faced with many travelers waiting for their rooms that he could not produce. He did keep his cool and was polite under less than perfect circumstances. The hot tub was promised to be usable but it was not open. They could use more ice machines. Overall though, it was a good stay.

We enjoyed the AC and the pool on a hot day and got some laundry done inbetween visits at the National Parks. Room was large, clean and comfortable!

I will stay at Red Lion Missoula again and recommend it. The staff was good and the stay was very enjoyable. Great location made it easy to find and in walking distance to downtown. I actually booked a second night to enjoy my stay in that great little city and at that hotel.

It was great though we were too busy to really enjoy the pool, breakfast etc. The room should have had a fridge and microwave but didn't though we were offered one and declined because we couldn't be bothered moving rooms. The fellow who helped us was great. I liked the way you gave a choice about cleaning, towels, sheets, etc.
