Gold Coast Hotel and Casino - לאס וגאס

The rooms are very comfortable. Newly renovated. The location is convenient- just minutes away from the strip and next to the Palms and Rio Casino. You definitely get your money worth at this place. The pool and Jacuzzi were clean. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

Good value for the money! Older hotel east of the strip. Has a free shuttle to the strip. Taxi trip to the Fremont area is about $22 one way. Pool closes at 6 pm which I did not like. Beds were comfortable.

While this hotel is off the strip and the casino is not as refined as those on the strip, the price you pay gives you a hotel room that is a modern and clean as anything you'd find on the strip. There is a shuttle that drops off at the Flamingo that is included in the resort fee. For my money, I'd stay here over the PH, Trop, Exclaibur or NYNY.

The Gold Coast is clean & comfortable, the food at Ping Pang Pong was excellent.

Enjoyed my stay there very much, nice hotel and friendly folks everywhere

I always stay at the GoldCoast, rooms are great, the buffet is always great too. Only wish the casino wasn't so tight, but it was a great stay.

Disappointed when we arrived at 2:00 p.m. thinking we could check in and were told it would be 1 1/2 to 2 hours. We had to return to the desk to obtain our keys at the end of the wait and had to wait in line again just to receive them. The desk clerk that originally waited on us said we didn't have to wait in line when we came back to just come to her, but she wasn't there so that is how our luck started. I had read the reviews and decided for the small additional cost to choose the Premium rooms. Was glad I did they were nice sized, clean and bright. The noise level was low. There was shuttle service to the Strip. The hotel casino was quiet the night I was there. I would have liked a few more quarter slots instead of so many penny & nickel ones. During the time spent gambling on the game floor I was never asked if I would like a complimentary drink although supposedly it was available. Although there were a few quirks, the overall stay was good and I would definitely stay again. I booked through Hotels.com and was pleased with their service also. I liked that they accept Pay Pal and I liked that I received a follow up email just prior to my trip confirming my reservations thus saving me any extra follow up of my own.

Room was ok however it was very noisey the first night as we were next to the ice machine.

location was great convinience, at time of check in the hoster aproached was rude as I had pre paid two night and she asummed we were checking in aurly. assigned a next door to elevator room. too much noise could not sleep. rooms were very small and for worst the room assigned was a handy cap with no tub. it could not be worst than that in a romantic get away with my boyfriend. I looked like a full.. since I did the booking.

Place was very clean. The sliding door on the bathroom was a little strange and it seemed like we would rather leave the hotel the stay. Good place to sleep. We received a knock on the door for house keeping pretty early too knowing that we have not checked out yet. To get to the strip it was a two mile walk with saftey in question.

Was expecting a little more out of a room in Vegas. No fridge or microwave. Sub par as far as rooms go. The location is great right next to the RIO and very close to the strip. But alas, we were there to work, not play. Did the job! Oh, the hallways are crazy long and you can only get up one elevator in the middle and our room was at the end. That was irritating...

I was a great stay, The rooms were very clean and the staff was very helpful. The TGIF was a good time.

The location was great, easy access. The room was awesome very comfortable and clean. Loved it, Will stay there again when we go back to Las Vegas

Great place - bathrooms are very nice, the rooms are super clean and very comfy bed. Also, casino is smaller so you can get from the parking garage to your hotel room in less than 2 minutes. Restaurants are the lower priced fare so great if you are not interested in expensive food. I personally have stayed here 3 times. It's a great place. Near China town and 1.3miles, roughly 3 blocks from the strip perpendicular to Caesar's Palace.

My husband and I stayed in GC on 03/13-18/2013. First we loved the outstanding customer service on the part of the front desk reps. The cleaning stuff was very nice as well and did good job cleaning our room. The location is great for a non-strip hotel. You can easily walk from the hotel to the strip along the Flamingo Rd. It takes about 20 minutes. Another option is Gold Coast's shuttle bus which will take you to one of the Strip's hotel (Bally's) located in about the middle of the Strip. Our room was on the 9th floor and we did not hear anything what was going on down in the hotel's casino. We stayed in an updated room so I can't speak about their standard (non-updated) rooms. But ours was pretty nice. One thing we didn't like though was that there wasn't an entrance area. Instead the outside door opened up right into the bedroom. The bathroom on the other hand was all the way by the window. The room had a coffee maker, an iron, and a TV. Speaking about TV, it was our biggest disappointment as we like to watch TV before bed, and they had a few basic channels only. No microwave and the fridge available for $13 for the whole time. The only thing we can say about hotel restaurants is do not go to the Noodle Exchange. The seafood curry we ordered from them was very greasy, and the beef curry didn't have much beef but also had a lot of grease. Overall, it is a nice place to stay while in LV. I would stay there again as it is very affordable.

Better then I expected and certainly worth the money. This is no posh resort and the rooms are small. Good location if you have a car> I would stay again

Everything was good. Nothing spectacular. Price was right, shuttle was convenient. We had a good time with the exception of the gambling!!

Never have it a shot until now. Loved everything about it .,, loved the room we got too. Friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel was great. Only had one problem with TGI Fridays in the hotel. Chicken fried steak tasted like raw flour and the gravy was runny. The waiter told me that is what Chicken fries steak was suposed to taste like. I ate only one bite & had to pay for the whole meal. I love Chicken fried steak, but this one was not done. Don't eat @ TGI Fridays.

Love staying at the Gold Coast and using the shuttle to the Orleans. Two world best restaurants... Ping Pang Pon and Oyster Bob's. We dance so the Ballroom has a great band 3 days per week and the dance crowd are wonderful to watch even if you don't dance American swing. We stay every year for the Magic and WWIN fashion week, convenient at a reasonable cost..

The stay was Wounderful, will be back again

We were very disappointed with the check in service and the location of our room. We were right above the kitchen and at 4 AM the noise was crazy. We did move to the 6th floor the next night and that was better. The woman that checked us in would not put us with the rest of the hockey team we were traveling with and was not helpful at all. It was the staff the next morning that fixed things.

Good room, Only Drawback was Hot water was not very hot. .

It was very comfortable.an was pleasantly surprise on the resort fee.some hotel want an arm an a leg for "resort fee".. just wish you had a mcdonals or a 24hr coffee shop.didnt see one just fridays other than that.the stay was great.i will come back an suggest it to friends an family on my face book...Have a great day...! the room we were in was 6th floor and remodeled "premium" room. If I had a choice, these would be my "Go To" rooms of choice. Pretty nice room (much improved from originals) with a stand up shower, flat screen and just a touch nicer overall. Gripes? The shower never got HOT. Warm was the closest it ever was. TV remote was finicky and occasionally just reset. TV would randomly turn off. All in All, knowing it was a remodel, it felt like it. More like a veneer than truly upgraded. Still, would stay again, in these premium rooms before I ever went back to standard. Price was only $10 more also, well worth it to me.

The premium rooms were dark and not to good. We had to move twice, with the third room being on the first floor with people working outside all hours of day and night. Was very noisy. They did give us a $40 food credit for having to change rooms because of problems. The first room had a bad heater and airconditioner, with the second room not having a walk in shower. Supposidly they are refurbishing some more rooms that are supposed to be lighter and better. We would stay there again if that would be the case.

Thought the room was great for what I paid. Room was big, quiet, nice, and bed was very comfortable.Food was good at the restaurants and the casino was nice.

Folks you get what you pay for and this place is a decent value at a low cost. Clean quiet room and no stress or problems is all we wanted for a low cost- no illusions here. It fit the bill. The buffet wasn't great- skip it and hit the town for better value.

The hotel was located right next door to the Rio, where we were attending a convention. We enjoyed the Gold Coast's facilities, and knew they were undergoing renovation of the rooms. We didn't expect to be woken up at 5:45 am by someone with a saw in the parking lot below our room on the 4th floor. We also were bothered by the sound of breaking glass when workers were shoveling tile into a dumpster at 6:30 pm. However, the room was clean and comfortable, the bathroom spacious, and the amenities very nice. Would have liked to have a refridgerator in the room, but that was an extra charge. Didn't see too much difference between the "premium" rooms and the "deluxe" based on photos. We opted for a premium room with king bed. The casino was very smoky though. The buffet offered a "prime rib" night, but the meat was exceptionally tough. Other choices were adequate.
