Inn of the Six Mountains - קילינגטון

This hotel is in prime location from Killington ski resort with great views on any side. The staff was nice and accomodating. When the first room we were assigned to had a toilet that was not working, they were quick to give us another room. The indoor and outdoor hot tubs were definitely a plus. Great amenities, very warm and welcoming place!

Based on some of the reviews at this site I did not arrive with high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. True the hotel could use some updating but this is really a minor point. The daily breakfasts were more than adequate served in a pleasant sunlit room. Nice upstairs and downstairs lobbies with fireplaces and internet service with comfy couches.Front desk staff was friendly and helpful, rooms were clean. Outdoor hot tub great after skiing was one of my requirements and I was not disappointed. Ski lockers and convenient shuttle to mountain. Nice cookies, hot chocolate and cider. Also free dvd movies for your room. (older tube sets though) Overall a good experience at half the price of those places right on the mountain You are only minutes away here and close to restaurants.

The Inn: I had to cancel due to personal emergency, so I did not stay at Inn of the Six Mountains. The folks at The Inn* were understanding and considerate of my emergency and accommodated my change. For the few minutes I was in the room it was clean, and staff were attentive. Hotels.com: was also accommodating and understanding for my emergency.

The hotel is quite ok, and we really enjoyed the stay! Staff and service could be a bit friendlier, but it didn't bother me much, we received the help we asked for each time we needed something. Breakfast could definitely be improved. Also, a dry sauna would be a great addition.

If this place wasn't high on the Mountain Road it would be a $49/nite dump. It was trashed and crunchy. No wifi in room, tiny tv, lumpy bed. It was clean.

Would definitely stay there again. While it wasn't very modern, it was clean, had a good pool and jacuzzi, near the mountain, friendly staff. Definitely a good deal.

The hotel is in a perfect location to the Killington ski resort, however; the hotel is a bit "dated" and could use a makeover.

Overall we were up at Killington with friends and spent most of our time on the mountain or at nearby pubs/restaurants so we didn't spend too much time in the hotel or our room, but it was a good value for the price paid. The hotel offered some nice amenities (which we didn't use) - movie night, free DVD rental, free breakfast, pool/hot-tub. Our only complaint was the late-night noise (could hear hallway noise and next door neighbors) and in the morning, we noticed the smell of cigarette smoke coming from a nearby room. Even given that, I'd stay here again...

This was our second wintertime visit to this inn. The location is excellent as it is close to the ski slopes and to fine restaurants. The service was fine. The general ambiance is becoming outdated. A bit of redecorating would make a big difference (so much potential with the big fireplaces and great views.)

This review gets 4 stars only because there are nicer hotels. We had a great time and were very happy with our stay. Beds were comfortable , room was spacious, and breakfast was decent.

While the hotel was clean it was really tired looking and in need of an upgrade. The rooms were a good size and generally clean, but like the wider hotel, hadn't been refurbished since the mid nineties. This goes for the whole resort of Killington which has exceptional skiing but has very dated facilities.

Room was very clean other than the carpet which seemed like it needed a good vacuuming. The spa/pool area was very clean and stylish. The mirrors in the room with the king bed were positioned especially well. Complimentary breakfast was also tasty. Service was fine, and it was only a half hour from Okemo. Overall I am very pleased with my stay and I will stay there again in the future.

I thought this hotel was great. The location was perfectly situated between the mountain and the Wobbly Barn. There were 5 of us coming from New York so we had a late check-in. I called the front desk earlier in the day to make sure that it would be ok it was. The front desk when we got there was very helpful. Since there were 5 of us we needed a cot, they gave that to us right away and sent my boyfriend up to make sure the room was ok. With the cot in the room it was tight but nothing we weren't expecting. The beds were 2 fulls and a twin cot, the cot was way more comfortable than the beds. The room did have a balcony and beautiful views of the mountain. The breakfast in the morning was what you can expect from a free breakfast, nothing more, nothing less. When we left for the day we put up a "do not disturb" sign and they left the towels in clear plastic wrapped bag. THe hotel is perfectly situated from the mountain only a few minutes from Snowshed Lodge and within walking distance to the Wobbly Barn. The hotel bar itself was kind of small but had the standard drinks. Everything was pretty clean, the prices were pretty good especially for the location. They have shuffle board and huge fireplaces in the main lobby area and on the second floor.

I read some of last years reviews AFTER I booked & was so hoping this place was not a dump. but, Upon arrival, the employee at the desk welcomed us, told us we were the 1st check in of the year and was very friendly! He told us the best & cheapest rental places & that a Restaurant across the street was having Turkey bowling for the kids... The Hotel looked fresh & clean & pretty , smelled clean too. They had all new carpets in the hallways.. The rooms were spacious and clean, we even had a skylite in our room. The staff was friendly and helpful. They had games & DVD's to be checked out for the kids, which was a big plus... Free Movie night in the mini theater,with free popcorn, was awesome too!!! Everything about it was AWESOME!!!! Close to Restaurants, Ski Rental Place and the Mountain! The Inn of Six Mountains will be revisited by us the next time we travel to Killington!

Lovely position. It was a pity that the hotel restaurant was closed. Some of the decor & furniture was a little 'tired'. Good breakfast.

You can see that in its prime, the property could have been a very attractive location with all the amenities. However it is very obvious that the Inn needs a major face lift. It seems that it caters more to elderly groups as the bathrooms have many grip bars around the shower with raised toilets. The shower heads are mounted way to low. Service at the free breakfast was inadequate. When we went for breakfast we had to wait almost ten minutes before additional plates were brought out. I recommend staying somewhere else.

Terrific location and nice people at the hotel. The complimentary breakfast wasn't the best, but it was doable. The hotel has seen some better days but the good easily outweighs the bad.

The only concern I had was they seem to have a resident squirrel in their breakfast room.

Nice hotel with a nice "great room" for guests complete with large stone fireplace and may comfortable chairs. One strange note, though -- the WiFi was only available in public areas like the Great Room, NOT in the rooms. Very strange!

This hotel has seen better days. The carpeting was so stained in the first room we were put in that we asked for another room. The second room was better, but both rooms were run down and very dated. The carpeting in the hallways was disgusting. The ice machine on our floor did not work. The website advertised that there was a restaurant and lounge on site. The lounge was closed for the season, and apparently the restaurant hasn't been open in years. The front desk clerk was very nice and apologetic and almost seemed embarrassed by the condition of the hotel. The continental breakfast was laughable. Location was great but would not stay here again. A huge disappointment.

This hotel has a great location, but it is really tired and need a lot of TLC

Nice lobby, amenities. The room reminded me of an average, Midwest Holiday Inn. Probably wouldn't return!

This hotel is tired. Old carpeting, old furniture, old parking lot, limited breakfast, limited and old Television. Maybe that's why they offer movies as an alternative. Bar and restaurant were closed. Positives include clean bathroom, and good location among many restaurants. I slept in my clothes for fear of what critters may be dwelling among the bed linens and blankets. I would not stay here again.

We truly enjoyed our stay at The Inn of the 6 Mountains. It was on the way up the slope to Killington Mountain. The first room we were in was nice but didn't have the best view. The staff was able to switch us the next night to a corner room with 2 balconies and a beautiful view. (Ask for room 202). The room was clean, quaint and a nice size. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The included breakfast was mediocre, but adequate. We had a wonderful vacation - and we didn't even make use of the hot tub or pools!

The Inn was dingier that advertised and the rooms and hallways were a bit gross. The cleaning staff should have done a better job. To it's credit, the hotel had a nice free DVD selection - so you could watch movies every night. Great location.

no central a/c.. mold smell in a lot of rooms. had to request a change of room to avoid the dampness.. stay there before but now it need a serious update..

carpet had large pieces ripped. but overall hotel was clean and comfortable stay. Would definately stay again

Upon arriving to this hotel we were greeted with more attitude than i have had in a long time and for no reason other than the reservations we had made...which obviously is not our fault..had not come through. I could have lived with the "concierge" being sarcastic and rolling his eyes at everything if the hotel was up to snuff...it was not. Dilapidated is the word. The pool area had no towels on the second day. The cieling was falling apart from the humidity The pool itself needs a total over haul. The gym equipment is rusty. Our room had mold in the bathroom and my breakfast of stale raisin bran was less than stellar. Considering what we paid i expected more....heck...i would expect more from a road side motel.

Bed was comfortable, and room was clean enough, but the place seems worn. Refrigerator whined, two outlets were not secured well to the wall, chair has an adequate slip cover on it. Someone outside in the hall using wifi for hours. One too many ski parties in this place. Price was good though. Get what you pay for.

The room was clean and very nice. Staff was very informative and helpful. Continental Breakfast was good. Fresh Waffles! Yum.

Had a great time. Hotel needs to be renovated. Not Bad, but could use a little TLC.

Its a good hotel and reasonably priced for the area. However one of our rooms had a clogged sink and they didn't fix it the first time we reported it. It took another day for them to fix it. The other room had a mini fridge which had its door sagging a bit. Another inconvenience was the lack of a microwave. The continental breakfast had more options than the usual including eggs and a waffle maker, but get there early if you want the eggs. The top floor rooms have skylights also.
