Hotel Nikko San Francisco - סן פרנסיסקו

אנחנו משפחה של 4 נפשות מאירלנד ושהינו במלון Nikko ל-4 לילות בחודש מרץ 2012. המלון הזה מעולה! היה לנו חדר מעולה בקומה ה-23, היה הרבה מאוד מקום ומיטות מאוד מאוד נוחות! הצוות היה מאוד ידידותי ועוזר. המלון ממוקם במרחק של רק רחוב אחד מכיכר יוניון, Macy's וקניון Westfield, לכן הוא נקודת המוצא האידאלית לסיורים בסן-פרנסיסקו. אני בהחלט ממליץ על מלון זה אם אתם מתכננים לשהות באזור מרכז העיר. מרכז העיר הוא אזור נחמד יותר מרציף הדייגים או רציף 39. רוב סיורי האוטובוסים עם הגג הפתוח מתחילים ומסתיימים בכיכר יוניון, כך שאם אתם מתכננים להשתמש בהם, מלון זה מאוד נגיש. אתם תיהנו מהשהות שלכם כאן ; אנחנו נהנו!

ה-Nikko הוא מלון נקי עם חדרים נוחים ושירות טוב. עיצוב המלון נחמד אבל קצת מיושן, הגיע הזמן לעצב מחדש. החניה ללילה עלתה לי $50.....גזילה, מגוחך!

הצוות מצוין. המיקום בסדר - מלבד ההומלסים שמציקים לך בכל האזור. אבל החדרים היו קלסטרופובים - ממש קטנטנים ביחס למחיר. ו-17.99 עבור סרט היה מוגזם!

שהיתי במלונות רבים בסן פרנסיסקו והמלון הזה הוא הטוב ביותר. החדר היה גדול, נקי והמיטות היו נוחות מאוד. החדר היה קצת רועש מהמולת הרחוב למטה אבל זה היה יום פטריק הקדוש ויש פאב אירי בדיוק מתחת. בחדר הרחצה יש אמבטיה ומקלחת נפרדים והאמבטיה גדולה, אז אם אתם אוהבים לעשות אמבטיות כמוני תיהנו מזה. תמיד אשהה במלון Nikko בכל פעם שאני בעיר.

אני מאוכזב שמלון ברמה טובה לא מספק אינטרנט אלחוטי חינם וחדר כושר חינם. האורחים צריכים לשלם על כך. אזהרה ענקית למי שרוצה להיות מחובר לרשת. חוץ מזה, זאת הייתה שהות נעימה.

חבר שלי עשה לי פרצוף כשאמרתי שהזמנתי מלון ביוניון סקוור ולא בפישרמנס וורף, אבל אני חייב לומר שהאיכות של מלון Nikko והמיקום היו נהדרים. אני באמת חושב שהייתי מתאכזב לו שהיתי בפישרמנס וורף. כריסטופר מדלפק הקבלה היה מועיל מאוד ובסך הכל נהנינו מהשהות.

המלון נחמד אבל יקר מידי עבור מה שהם מציעים. יש חיוב יומי של 16$ לאינטרנט אלחוטי! צוות המלון והביטחון היו מאוד לא מסבירי פנים ולא ידידותיים בשתי המשמרות.

אישית, כשאני מבקר בסן-פרנסיסקו אני מעדיף לשהות במקום קרוב לרחוב Market ולכיכר יוניון - זה נוח אם רוצים להסתובב ולערוך קניות. מהבחינה הזאת, מלון Nikko מצוין - הוא נמצא בצמוד למלון הילטון, רחוב וחצי מכיכר יוניון ותחנת הרכבת התחתית Powell. החדרים נוחים מאוד המיטות והשירותים מצוינים. האינטרנט האלחוטי יקר מאוד אבל יש בית קפה Starbucks למטה עם אינטרנט חינמי. מורת רוח קלה אחת הייתה שהמקרר הוא מסוג המקררים שיש לשלם עבורם בחיוב אוטומטי אבל אין מקום פנוי, כך שאם אם קונים משהו קר לבוקר יום המחרת בין 7-11 בבוקר לא יהיה לכך מקום פנוי קר. סך הכל הייתי מאוד מרוצה במיוחד מכיוון שמלון זה היה זול יותר מבתי מלון אחרים באותה דרגת כוכבים ומבתי מלון אחרים באזור. בהחלט ברשימה הנבחרת לפעם הבאה. חשוב לדעת: הכניסה למלון מרחוב O'Farrell ננעלת בלילה, כך שצריך להשתמש בכניסה מרחוב Mason, זה לא מובן מאליו לכל אחד (האמת היא שאני חשבתי שהכניסה מרחוב O'Farrell הייתה הכניסה הראשית). בכל אופן, מומלץ...

חלק מרהיטי המלון היו מרופטים. סך הכל נחמד מאוד, נקי וידידותי. ציפיתי לרהיטים נחמדים יותר בחדר ולחוויה יוקרתית יותר. אבל היה ממוצע.

מיקום המלון היה מצוין ובקבוק השמפניה שקיבלנו מהמלון לכבוד יום הולדתו של בעלי היה נחמד ביותר. ארוחת הבוקר הייתה טובה. היה לנו חדר מסוג Nikko floor room ששילמנו עליו תוספת והנופים ממנו היו מרהיבים. אני חושב שהחדר היה יחסית קטן לחדר משודרג. אם דלת חדר הרחצה הייתה פתוחה (היא נפתחה החוצה) אי אפשר היה לפתוח את הדלת הראשית של חדר השינה מבחוץ. החדר היה נקי אבל היו לא מעט כתמים שחורים על השטיח.

Living in the Bay Area practically all my life, I've always played in SF but never stayed. Hotel Nikko was a wonderful place to stay for a weekend getaway to SF so I could shop and dine in the heart of the city. With a beautiful view of the city and bay, nicely appointed rooms and great service, what could go wrong...nothing. I'd stay there again if the opportunity presents itself.

Check in was quick and the staff was friendly and accommodating. Convenient location. Within walking distance of the trolley and BART.

Hotel is in a good location - very close to Union Square, the cable car route on Powell, shopping and restaurants. The drawback for me was that the hotel did not offer free wifi in the rooms or the lobby (however free wifi is available around Union Square and at Macy's so it didn't matter too much) and they did not have a minibar in the room. Overall the hotel is clean and comfortable.

The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was at a good location very near Union Square. The public areas of the hotel were very beautiful. The hotel and room had a very modern feel. The towels were thick. However, the desk chair seat springs were starting to break down a little and there was no additional reading chair in the room. The one challenge I would note is that this was a conference hotel for a very large conference. For this reason, I was paying peak rates, which meant that the room was significantly overpriced for what it was. Travelers should note that parking in the area is very expensive. I was very happy with the hotel valet parking, but be sure to check the price in advance so that it is not a surprise. Bottom line - I did like this hotel and would stay here again, but book ahead and check the prices in the area.

Overall good. In this day and age free Internet access is a must. Will go a long way in putting Nikko above all others.

It is a nice hotel. Do recommend. Just watch the fridge sensors....when and if you take things out.

This hotel charges for Internet, for using the Gym, for everything. The receptionistsare not very polite.

A great value. Hugely convenient location, staff was beyond exceptional and friendly.

When they say petite, they mean it. Size is small. But everything in it is in mint condition.

It was wonderful. I just dont know why theres a 50 dollar fee to use the pool.

Apart from having to pay for the internet, especially when in San Fran for a conference, the hotel was great. I did not use the pool etc but the price of $20 for your stay is great for what you get.The hotel is well placed for access to everything, Bart, shopping, sightseeing and conference venues.Efficient and polite staff. Be careful as per all homeless people in the area, as a lady did come and sit next to me in the lower lobby when I was busy on the i pad. Would I stay there again...yes. Will I get the chance to... probably no.

Hotel Nikko was a great find. Very close to Union Square, trollys, stores and bars. If you're looking for a great room in a swanky hotel for a getaway and not concerned over the size of the room, then this is your place.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Nikko very much. It is an excellent hotel with outstanding service. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms very clean. The staff are professional and very accommodating. They go out of their way to make sure that their guests are taken care of. I appreciated the restaurant staff/servers as well. I felt like I was the most important client while I was having breakfast. I highly highly recommend Hotel Nikko.

Really enjoyed our stay at hotel nikko. We'd planned a night out in sf with friends and the hotel was conveniently located close to everything, shopping and restaurants. Will definitely stay again!

Beautiful hotel, fantastic location, service was top notch. Only complaint was our carpeting in the hallway on our floor and in our actual hotel room was in pretty rough shape. Otherwise everything else was beautifully updated!

Nice hotel. For those not familiar with SF, this is in Union Square which is a nice shopping district right in the middle of crackheadville - just in case you don't know that. But that's fine - it's where most of the nice hotels are. The only real problem we had was that they nickel and dime you everywhere. You get a "good" rate, but then you pay $45 a day for parking, and $15 a day for internet (PER DEVICE!), $20 a day if you want to use the gym/spa/pool, etc. etc. etc. I was surprised they didn't include a charge for our toilet paper. So to sum up, it's a good hotel, but the rate you see is NOT the rate you'll end up paying.

Wow! What a fabulous hotel in a great location. Definitely a 5 star hotel. Everything was perfect from valet parking to checkout. WIll be our location in the City whenever we go. Thank you!

Room included small mini fridge, which was convenient. Modern style rooms. Location is excellent, easy walking distance of Bart, and other attractions. Annoying surcharges for internet and gym use.

whatever you do in that hotel you need to pay for it. i ordered through hotels.com at a good rate then they asked for $20 to access the pool and a $1 to print my boarding pass (at the end the concierge does it for free) but all expensive.

Great hotel for walking to Union Square, catching the cable car to Fisherman's Wharf and the T line to watch a Giants game. Having an indoor pool and Jacuzzi to go to in the afternoon was great for the kids and our tired feet. Great service and clean hotel.

very close to BART station and trolley turnaround. Clean hotel. Didn't get to use any of the amenities, so cannot comment on those.

The staff were friendly and helpful. From the parking attendants to the bellman, everyone went out of their way.

Very nice desk staff, unexpected upgrade, and nicely appointed room. The hotel is located in/adjacent Union Square. That aspect made for rather interesting people watching. I never felt unsafe and would definitely stay there again.
