לכו לבריכה שעל הגג ורוברט יהיה שם להפוך את היום שלכם למושלם. רוברט טיפל בנו בצורה מדהימה, הוא עשה מעל ומעבר כדי לוודא שהקבוצה שלנו, 8 בנות, תחוש בנוח ושנמשיך להנות. בנוסף צולמה תוכנית ריאליטי ב Catalina בזמן שהגענו...יתכן ונופיע בטלויזיה בשלב מסוים. זה הפך את השהייה למעניינת.

הכל היה מצוין. מיקום טוב עבור החופים של החוף הדרומי וקניון Lincoln וכו''.

מיקום נחמד ומלון נקי ונחמד עם מיטה נוחה. בידוד נוראי אז היה לנו רעש מציק מהשכנים וצוות הצילון שצילם בחוץ עבור תוכנית חדשה (לא קיבלנו אינפורמציה על זה כשנרשמנו!) אוכל גרוע בבריכה.

מקום מצוין לחבר'ה צעירים! מיקום טוב ושירותים. אבל כמו כל מקום אחר במיאמי הם מוסיפים חיובים שונים לכל דבר!

שהיה מצוינת, אך עם זאת חדר האמבטיה צריך קצת שיפוץ. ומצב החניה הוא אסון. שירותי חניה זה 30 דולר והחניון הוא 25 דולר. אם את משלם כבר מחיר יקר החנייה צריכה להיות כלולה. ה Happy hour הייתה מצויינת.

מקום מצוין להיות בו בחוף מיאמי, מומלץ..

מלון מגניב, אווירה טובה, Happy Hour חינם, אבל אף אחד לא עונה לטלפונים--אז סה"כ מקום טוב.

המלון הזה מעולה לסופ"ש !!! קרוב להכל. נתחיל בהרשמה בשולחן הקבלה - היה נהדר, פורסט דאג לנו בצורה המקצועית ביותר. הלוואי והיו עוד הרבה כמוהו בכל המלונות שהיינו בהם. הבר בתוך Maxine היה נחמד והאוכל והשתייה היו טעימים. בהלך משתה אחר הצהרים אווה דאגה לנו והיא הייתה מעבר לנפלאה ובזמן שאני כאן כותב את זה אני מתגעגע למשקה שהיא הכינה לנו שנקרא GLC. רוברט בבריכה בגג היה מאוד אדים וזמין, כל הזמן בדק אתנו שהכל בסדר ואם אנחנו צריכים משהו... אין מה להוסיף... בהחלט אחזור לפה בקרוב!!!

הצוות בשולחן הקבלה היה כ"כ חצוף אליי. אני הזמנתי מקום דרך אתר חיצוני באותו יום סביב 2-3. למרות שידעתי שאני לא יכול להירשם עד מאוחר יותר באותו יום בגלל פגישה עסקית שהייתה לי ב FourLauderdale. אבל כשהגעתי למלון מאוחר יותר באותו לילה להירשם נאמר לי ע"י שולחן הקבלה שאני צריך לחכות כמה רגעים כדי שהוא יוכל לסגור את היום בצד שלו. השם שלו היה קרלוס. אני זוכר כי זה השם שלי. הוא היה חצוף, ובסופו של דבר גרם לי להמתין 30 דקות בלובי לחדר ששילמתי עבורו שעות לפני כן באותו היום. באמת ? חוץ מזה שאלתי אם אני יכול לעשות צ'ק-אאוט מאוחר. כולנו יודעים שזה אופציה של המלון לעשות זאת עבור הלקוח. קיוויתי שהוא יוכל להבין את המצב שלי אבל הוא אמר שהצהריים זאת שעת היציאה והוא לא יכול לעשות שום דבר בנושא עבורי. זה בסדר, אבל אין צורך להיות חצוף. בזמן שהמתנתי הוא אמר שהוא יכול לתת לי עד 1 בצהריים כדי לצאת. שמחתי על זה, אבל באמת.. זה הכי טוב שאתה יכול לעשות?. בבוקר למחרת המנקה דפקה לי על הדלת ב 9:30 עם השואב אבק במסדרון. לא יכולתי להאמין. בסופו של דבר נשארתי במיאמי לילה נוסף אבל לא הייתי מוכן להישאר שם. עזבתי ועברתי למקום אחר בהמשך הרחוב, שם שילמתי קצת יותר אבל הייתי מרוצה מהיחס ונהניתי. אני לא אשאר שם יותר אף פעם ולא אמליץ לאף אחד לבוא לשם.

have stayed at other southc beach group hotels and this is one of the best experiences i've had. the staff was by FAR the best this stay in comparison to other stays at whitelaw, chelsea etc. would def. stay here again for the price.

I was satisfied.

pros: descent price right across the street from the Delano and the beach. valet parking, nicely stocked mini bar with mini fridge, comfortable bed and tastefully decorated room. cons: the floor had a slippery film on it that felt gross on bare feet (salt air? soap residue?) the bathroom had some water damage near the baseboard and could have used some paint and art. I wouldn't try eating at the restaraunts on site again. service with a frown took forever and 18% tip was already on the bill.

This hotel is nice, great area, restaurant was fine, pool area a little too much shade for my taste.

I honestly think I would have felt more comfortable in a motel 6. The room I stayed in is so small and you literally hear peoples conversations as there walking by in the hallway. The hotel location is perfect, it's just a block from the beach and there are alot of shopping stores surrounding the hotel.

Of course most hotels dont look like the pictures and this was the case. The celing was red as in the pictures, lol. But the room was really small, no chair or table...nice bathroom. I personally would not stay because of the room size. Because everthing was white it needs to be cleaned all the time, this room needed a lot of cleaning around the borders. I was really scared to put my suite case down on the floor open. The beds were very comfortable. The lobby was nice and the hotel staff was great. Overall I give the hotel a 2.5 because of it not being so clean.

Excellent location, will return. Just wish they had Kleenex tissues in room.

Strong mildew smell in washroom. I stayed in room 124. Holes in the shades. I think they should be motel status.

Hotel was in a great location, but rooms were a lot more run down than expected. Our air conditioning broke and it was miserably hot in our room. The front desk told us they would take a look at it...and at 4am told us it was fixed and it was not. My friends and I stayed up all night because the heat was unbearable. All they had to say the next morning as we were leaving was "sorry". NEVER staying here again!

I was disappointed that the hotel is NOT on the beach side of Collins Avenue (I should have done my research). Also the rooms were very tiny and white. All it needed was a straight jacket and we could have made a Jack Nicholson movie. Some pretty shady ladies were hanging around the hotel posting up next you and making small talk; which in my younger days might have been fun, but for a married guy served as a source of anxiety. Will not stay here again.

Staff not the best, requested quiet room so we were given room directly above bar, opposite elevator, on the street.......! Hotel is actually 3 separate buildings, can't put restaurant bills on room, need to pay cash. Good location though, suitable for partying.

Waited 2 hours for food to be served at the hotel diners. Hope management will do something about the service.

great location, rooms are fair, but the beds are uncomfortable, don't plan on sleeping.....music plays downstairs all night........great party! Nice breakfast

If you like to ride bikes they do have free rentals included with your stay. The happy hour is nice and it is also complimentary. The valet parking is expensive. $25 per day to use the valet and the resort fee is $15 per day as well. You need to consider these charges, when budgeting for this hotel. In a prime location near the beach and shopping area.

I liked the rooms I've stayed in a lot of expensive hotels on south beach and for the price there rooms were even better then the expensive hotels

Staff is awesome!! The DJ in Maxines is the best DJ I've heard in a LONG time!! The room was awesome!! I will be staying at Catalina my next trip to Miami!!!

It was a nice and clean room. I was Very happy about the bed and it was quieter than I thought it would be. BC and I were satisfied with everything. Thank You

not a good experience. bad service, rooms very run down, could hear everything going on in other rooms and bar. I suggest that you spend more money and go across the street, it will be money well spent

I had to wait over 35 minutes for the hotel to recieve and process my reservation! I watched at 20 people check in without a problem! Besides that my experience was great! I really enjoyed my stay at the Catalina hotel!

We booked through hotels.com and were only staying one night. The staff put us in the LOUDEST room ever, literally we were screaming to hear eachother. Also when we walked into the room there was garbage in the toilet and the trash hadn't been taken out. When I called the front desk they told me they were totally booked and couldn't move us, so I looked up to see if I could book a room on their website (where it appeared there were many openings.) I actually heard the front desk whisper to one another not to move us because we were only staying one night. I don't expect much, but this was a pretty ridiculous experience.

We have to thank the exceptionally courteous staff at the Catalina Beach Club-- especially Juan who upgraded us to a nicer room in a quieter building---- the Catalina Hotel and Beach Club is actually 3 buildings, all with street front bar/restaurants - live music, comfy seating-- a lot of fun-- the middle building is where the music/free happy hour is and it is definitely a younger crowd (my friend and I middle aged!)-- but the north building proved to be way quieter and it was a pleasantly decorated place, great room with very comfortable king bed, and pull out sleeper sofa (not so comfortable, but handy) Also, 2 pretty pools-- we thought the bar at Maxine's Bistro, one of hotel restaurants, had best mojito in town----For the price this was a great deal and short block from beach with beach chairs inc (chair and umbrella rentals $ if hotel doesn't include-- good to know as South Beach isn't cheap- lots of hidden costs it seemed)-- at any rate, this is close enough to the bars and restaurants on Ocean Drive-- like 5 blocks down and one block over-- would stay here again!

I chose the Catalina based off of pictures and decent reviews. When I arrived I found that the hotel was spread over three older hotels and most of them needed updates. Their restaurants were better than their hotel service. The check in was frantic and the night we stayed our neighbors were fighting so loudly that the cops were called. I enjoyed the area and food but would not recommend staying if you need any amount of sleep.

Last minute reservation. The room was really small and the staff didn't want to be helpful with anything. However it was a real party hotel and that made up for everything

They sent me to a sister hotel due to over booking over 20 blocks away. The valet parking takes 30 minutes to bring your car. They wanted to charge me $60 to switch to a double bed room vs king. The only thing exciting was the Rooft Top Pool and Bar.

We stayed in the Dorset , the southern most of the three hotels under the Catalina group . Room was lovely but quite loud as it was looking out over Collins.. Service was her really very slow but the staff were friendly enough. The highlight was the cabana around the pool surrounded by huge bamboos in Maxine's. would stay again.

I have stayed here twice now. I would have to say for the price the value of what you get can not be compared. They have free airport shuttle, free drinks from 7-8 and free wi fi. The location is within walking distance to everything. The Ritz and Delano is just across the street The beach is also across the street and they do have have beach area at the beach. We found all the staff to be very nice and and right there when ever we needed something. for $200 more a night we could have and considered staying at the Ritz but did not see the value in that. If you are looking to be in the heart of all the restuarants, beach, shopping and still on a budget I would recommend this place. I have no problem in paying luxury and top of the line if i see the value. Here I just did not see staying accross the street to worth an added $1200 to the trip. How i determined that is by also considering if i had to pay for wi fi, taxi, difference in drink prices at the pool etc. the differnce would have been about $1200.00 for 4 nights. Also note there is a difference in rooms You will want to stay in the D rooms the hallways in Maxines are dirty so if you can overlook look the hallways in the Maxine building for the savings you should enjoy your stay. The D buildings is much more updated and nicer.

I stayed at this hotel during spring break with friends. We enjoyed our stay here although we didn't have very much light in our room. I also requested a 2 double bed room and when we got to the hotel our rooms weren't ready and we were told the rooms are first come first serve so therefore we got stuck with a King size bed room. Tyrell is the concierge & he was a HUGE help during our stay at the Catalina hotel. The bartenders were amazing and made us feel very welcomed. But the staff in charge of checking in and out were very rude and didn't explain the fee's and deposits proper way. She never apologized for the confusion and lack of communication during our stay which made us feel very uncomfortable. This hotel should be considered for adults only since there is a live 24hr DJ on the main level and is directly on the strip of Miami. I was kind of uncomfortable sitting at the bar at 2am while watching children ran around in the lounge area, or going for a late night swim while children were steady splashing water towards our way. Besides that, everything was great and we had an awesome mini 3 day vacation !

The hotel rooms need improvements.
