I was pleased with my stay at Red Lion Hotel PDX. Very Clean Room, Fast Check In, & the food was Great at the Restaurant! Fast Shuttle to PDX airport.The Rates were very affordable. Had Great Customer service at front Lobby. Complimentary Coffee in the Morning, and a free newspaper (orgonian)

The location was very convenient for arriving very late from our flight. Service was excellent and the room met our needs very well. This hotel was definitely a great choice.

really comfortable and accomadating hotel , and a terrific resturant on property , and bar , f\ood and wait staff were excellent

We stayed for one night on our return trip from Disneyland. Air conditioner wws broken on a hot night and there was a cockroach in our guest book. Beds were hard and the view was the roof. Not impressed but the hotel was very close to pdx.

Nice place to stay for the price. Rooms are nice. Halls are musty.

it was fine for an overnight in-and-out set of meetings

We were told by Hotels.com that we would be able to park at the Red Lion while we took a flight out of state. This is NOT true! When we arrived at the hotel the manager refused to uphold what we had been told with a "too bad so sad" attitude. He blamed hotels.com and us for the error. We were forced to find alternative arrangements for parking at the airport. Very poor service!!!

The hotel staff was pleasant and helpful, but the room and hotel grounds were scroungy and not maintained at all. Even though I got a good rate, the cleanliness of the entire facilty made me feel like I overpayed. I have stayed in Motel 6's that were much nicer.The restaurant prices were overpriced considering what you got and the service was not good.

Good quality for the price...restaurant was good too.

We stayed overnight between flights. Your 24 hr shuttle service is excellant service! And proximity to the airport is a plus. Will stay there again.

I thought the room was just right for price. Did not like, however the service at check in. They should hire an older person who has better customer relations.

Overall, our stay was nice. Only complaint was one day our room was not cleaned and we came back to unmade beds and no clean towels. Other than that it was clean. Some of the other reviews mentioned noise; we did not experience that; heard one plane overhead about 9 pm but it is at the airport.

The room was clean but I can smell cigarette smoke even though the front desk said its a non smoking room. The toilet didn't flush good so I ended up adding water in the toilet bowl to flush all the way.

The restaurant and bar close early so eat before you arrive if you have a late arrival. The hotel is actually very close to airport but unless you take the 205 exit and go straight to hotel you will spend time winding around Portland being lost.

the hotel's staff was very accommodating and willing to help with a couple 'issues'. Several lamps were unplugged and very difficult to plug back in - Kevin was quick to fix. The shuttle to the airport (where one gets the train into town) was very handy. The people in the room above us were extremely inconsiderate - arriving around midnight - and my roommate was unable to sleep at all. Outside door very loud when it closes - we were several rooms away and could hear it clearly. Poor sound-proofing.

Other than being close to the airport, this Red Lion is masquerading as a Ramada Inn circa 1985. No elevator, musty smell, front desk errors, and more. Beds were comfortable and shuttle staff were friendly and helpful but that was it on the positive side.

super clean, comfortable bed, fair rates

Room was cleaned everyday. Staff was conscious of "do not disturb". Noise complaint was handled immediatly. Comfortable beds. VERY accommodating to my dogs. Since I always pick up after mine would appreciate others doing the same. This is a resource we have to "protect". It is NOT the Hotels job!

Room was horrible, looked like it wasn cleaned prior to getting there. There were balled up dirty socks left under the sink in the bathroom, some nasty gunk on the floors, and the nightstands and desk both were uncleaned and sticky.

Very nice people

Room was nice. Very comfortable beds! Unfortunately, I had a back problem while there and the room was built for people considerably shorter than 6' tall. I had to painfully bend over to get under the shower. Sink was very low and a long reach.

Very friendly.

Friendly staff, helpful with directions, tea & coffee pack refills for room, and shampoo & lotions.

Great place and great service in the restaurant

The only problem with this hotel is getting your luggage to the second floor without an elevator!

It was very nice and a really nice for the value. Location was great as well.

Very clean rooms. The service was a ittle inpersonable and the male check in clerk never called the airport shuttle when I called for it. I sat at the airport for 30 minutes until I had to call again asking for it! However, everything else was great. The shuttle driver was super nice and the restaurant and lounge were super convenient.

Close to Portland Airport, friendly staff.

The quality of the room for the price was great. I travel for business and am usually gone for just a night. I do not want to pay a lot as I usually work late, need a place to relax for a couple of hours, sleep and then shower in the morning and gone. This property fit the bill. I will stay here again.

Hotel was fine for the discounted price but would not have been happy with its normal pricing. paid for prem. room. bathroom was small. parking lot was full but there did not seem to many people staying there.

Excellent rates - close to the airport and the business locations I needed to visit. Room was very well maintained and clean.

Hotel was OK. Nothing special. Restaurant was very speedy on room service items. Food was OK. Kind of noisy so close to airport and type of construction of hotel.

I was very disappointed. This hotel was not up to the Red Lion's usual standards. When I checked into the room (room 171) there was day old coffee in the coffee pot, day old coffee grounds in the coffee pot and urine on the toilet. There was hardly any water pressure in the bathroom sink, the air conditioner/heating system barely worked and the television was pixelating to the point it was unwatchable. I spoke with the general manager the next day about the the coffee pot, urine stains and TV.I did not mention the water pressure or air conditioner/heating system. He offered to move me to another room or to fix the TV and make sure the room was properly cleaned. As I would not be returning to the room until late that night I opted to have him fix the TV. When I returned that night the TV still did not work properly. The next day I asked to be moved to another room. They put me in room 159 and everything in that room worked properly; good water pressure, good air conditioning/heating system and good TV.

We had a one night stay and the shudle was waiting the next morning, Good place to stay !
