אגיד את זה בפשטות: הדבר היחיד שאכזב אותי היה שצוות ארוחת הבוקר היה אירופאי, והשקיע במתן שירות מצוין לאירופאים אחרים בלבד. אבל כל שאר הצוות היה מדהים ומועיל מאד.

המלון היה נחמד ונוח, והחדר היה בגודל טוב. מיטה גדולה, נוחה ונעימה. למרבה הנוחות, יש בחדר גם מיקרוגל ומקרר. ארוחת בוקר נחמדה, עם חביתות ולביבות שהוכנו לפי הזמנה.

בהשוואה למלונות בלוס אנג'לס, מלון הוליווד היה חויית מלון מדהימה לאנשים עם ציפיות גבוהות ותקציב נמוך. החניה מאד מבוטחת ובטיחותית. בהחלט אשהה כאן שוב.

המלון נקי מאד והשירות טוב. ארוחות הבוקר טובות גם כן - יש מקום לשיפור, אבל בסך הכל טובות. מיקום נוח מאד ובטוח. אני ממליץ לאחרים על המלון.

מלון טוב, ארוחת בוקר בחינם. זה לא מלון 5 כוכבים, אבל הוא איפשר לנו לא לחרוג מהתקציב שלנו. מסעדות נהדרות במרחק חמש דקות לכיוון צפון. בגלל רצפת השיש במסדרונות (קומה ראשונה), הקול מהדהד במעבר. ארוחות בוקר נחמדות וחמות, אפשר היה להוסיף עוד פירות לבופה. צוות ידידותי ומועיל.

מלון זה ממוקם בנגישות למטרו. היה מאד נקי ושקט. הלכתי ל wendys אחרי שהחשיך בלי בעיה.

החדר היה רחב, אבל היה זקוק לסידור הופעה כוללני. צוות ארוחת הבוקר היה בלתי מנומס והגבילו חביתה אחת לאדם ולא הרשו לי לקחת את כוס הקפה לחדר. התמונה של המלון באינטרנט היא מהחניה שמוגפת יפה אבל יוקרתית למדי. אנחנו היינו בצד של הרחוב אז היינו מול הכניסה לחניה, ושמענו את קול תנועת הרחוב הרועש. שירותים שהובטחו, לא קבלנו. באתר hotels.com נאמר על שירותי הסעה לuniversal studios שזה היה אחד מהגורמים המניעים לבחירת מלון זה, אבל כשהגענו הם אמרו שזה רק זמין אם הכרטיסים נרכשו דרך הספק שלהם. לא אשהה שם שוב, מאד מאוכזב.

בסך הכל, אנו די מרוצים, הצוות מאד נימוסי ואדיב. המיקום קרוב לכל נקודות התיירות המרכזים בלוס אנג'לס.

התמונות של המלון באינטרנט מגלמות מלון הרבה יותר יפה ממה שהוא באמת. כעשיתי צ'ק אין, ניתן לי חדר שכבר היו בו דיירים-כמה מביש זה היה כשפתחתי את הדלת לראות אנשים מסודרים בחדר. ואז בדקתי את חשבון הבנק שלי, רק כדי להווכח שחוייבתי כפול 3 מהסכום לחניה והמקדמה. טפלתי בזה, אבל זה לא בסדר, משום שהייתי בחופש. אחר כך בבוקר הראשון שהייתי שם, החדרנית פתחה את הדלת 4 פעמים מבלי לדפוק בנסיון לנקות את החדר. הייתי שם שלט נא לא להפריע, אבל לא ספקו. המלון היה מאד נקי, את זה אפרגן!

Phenominal location. On major street, with a Metro stop nearby. Car Rental Company in Hotel Lobby was very convenient. Loved other international visitors speaking different foreign languages. Didn't realize has a garden oasis retreat in center of hotel. Had a small patio overlooking garden. Some "ageing" in bathroom, but my opinion is that received an excellent value for the dollar. Free full breakfast was a plus.

I thought the front desk was very helpful and the stay was quite enjoyable.

We loved the spread for the free continental breakfast with the made to order omelets and waffles. Also loved the beautiful courtyard to drink in when friends came to visit. Super close to the Metro with great restaurants within walking distance.

My room smelled of something not good. The bathroom was so so small and only had a very bad shower. Missing and broken tiles at the base.

I was very pleased with the Complimentary breakfast every morning. The staff was friendly and the hotel was conviently located to everywhere I wanted to visit!! And I met Tabitha Coffy in the parking lot!! The highlight of my trip because I'm a hairstylist from the East Coast!!

Enjoyed the hotel for its history and unique being.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. It was my third time staying and I would certainly stay again when visiting this area

Nice hotel with pool and parking (although they charge extra for the parking). Good location for exploring LA if you have a car, between Downtown and Hollywood. Very clean and fresh decor, good breakfast choice including omelettes made to order. Pizza takeaway, Vegan cafe, and chemist / supermarket all within two minute walk. Recommended.

Rooms were clean. We had a room overlooking the courtyard which was very nice. So quiet at night I thought we were the only guests! Free breakfast can't be beat. Omlets, eggs or waffles every morning. It was easy to get to all the must see sights but hotel wasn't in a great area. You couldn't walk to anything. Cars are kept in gated area. I was vacationing with my 13 year old daughter and I felt safe just can't walk to anything.

The hotel is pleasant looking and the room were nice. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The courtyard was pretty and it was nice to have a patio off the room. However, there we no chairs to sit on on the patio. In order to get to the courtyard you have to walk around the hotel (inside) to reach the doorway. We had a complimentary breakfast that the desk forgot to tell us about. I heard someone ask a day later about breakfast. The book inside the room with hotel services offered a lunch and dinner menu at the hotel. There was no dinner or lunch offered at the hotel. We were told we would have a room safe, but no safe. They said it was in the renovation plans. The vending machines didn't work - it just ate your money. The service desk couldn't do anything about it. I would not stay there again.

The hotel was lovely. The subway nearby for travel. The surrounding areas were a bit dodgy but didn't feel unsafe.

I've stayed at this hotel twice now and enjoyed both stays. The staff have always been friendly and helpful, the breakfasts have a decent choice, could maybe have some more fruit but otherwise it's fine. Location is close to transit and not far from freeways. The only issue was the shower on the second trip, was a beautiful walk in shower but it was fairly cold and didn't have much power.

A very nice stay -- staff was exceptionally helpful and the free breakfast is outstanding, with an omelet bar and fresh waffles.

I really enjoyed my stay at the Hollywood Hotel. It was conviently located and provided excellent parking services. For the cost of the hotel, I would definitely recommend this to my friends and family. I would come back to this hotel again on my next visit.

Hollywood Hotel was reasonably priced and clean and well maintained. The gated parking was convenient and secure. The breakfast was as good as we have had at this price range with omelette chef and waffle station. I would stay here again if I did not have to drive west too many times.

Overall, clean, very nice. The water in our room was never hot and shower turned pretty cold after about 5 minutes - we let them know so hopefully they'll fix it. Didn't like having to pay for parking, especially since there was always plenty available - lots of open spaces, as well as street parking, unlike in Chicago or NYC. Otherwise, the hotel was very nice and the complimentary breakfast was very good too. Would stay again.

Pros: -nice hotel, clean Cons: -broken machines couldn't buy drinks, had to cross over the street to the liquor store (pretty scary at night) -Super slow and old elevator, need maintenance - hotel room blow dryer are not strong died and came back on the next day

This hotel is located near to the Santa Monical Station. There are eating places around it, convenient stores are also nearby where water, light snacks can be purchased. The hotel is basic, a bit old but acceptable, bed is comfortable, front desk service is good. The breakfast spread limits to 1 portion of eggs, and it is the same everyday. Generally it is accepatable, but the only concern that I have is the surrounding neighbourhood. I seem to be in a Mexican town as I try to walk around the vincinity. Frankly, I don't feel safe with just being 2 ladies walking around. I decided to take metro whenever I go, and comes back before night falls. Perhaps I just want to be safe.

I booked this hotel because it said it was close by to the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Grauman's Chinese Theater and the "Hollywood scene." Close as in three miles. When I think of close, I think of walking distance. The hotel room was large and spacious but the bathroom was small and you could see that it had been remodeled recently. The room had not carpet but had tile. There were five of us and I had to pay $60 for an extra person--but that $60 didn't include a roll away bed--that would have been another $60. I'm assuming that the $60 covered the continental breakfast each morning. The scrambled eggs and omelette station was nice but other than that a typical continental breakfast. I was not impressed with the customer service. There was one young man that worked the afternoon shift who was really nice and offered to help us book a tour, but that was it. The room, as I said was huge and the bath room was small. When you are looking at this hotel on the hotels.com website, the photo of the hotel is actually the rear entrance to the hotel. The parking in back of the hotel is gated and locked and you have to pay$20 a day to park. Considering the neighborhood, it was worth it to pay for the parking We didn't have time for the pool but it we did look at it and it was beautifully decorated. It was okay--not too bad, but certainly not the greatest. I've stayed at cheaper and better which were both...cheaper and better.

Hotel is about a block from Vermont/ Santa Monica metro station so convenient to get from LAX airport and around LA as we didn't want to drive. Opposite metro is #704 bus that takes you to rodeo drive and santa Monica beach etc for $1.50 so very handy. Hotel was spacious and rooms were a little dated but comfortable with complimentary coffee, fridge and microwave. Our room had a balcony that overlooked the central courtyard which was nice but one night other guests were quiet noisy until 1am which was annoying. The room was a little dusty and the bed sheets weren't changed in over a week we were there for. Breakfast was buffet cereals, fruit, toast and made to order omlettes and waffles. Queues were often long. Overall not a bad hotel and would stay there again but a little rough around the edges. Tip: vending machines are very expensive, go to the am/pm petrol station opposite the metro station. Hotel doesn't have restaurant. Pizza Hut and subway (24hr) nearby. WaBa teriyaki rice bowl fast food restaurant is yummy and cheap.

Worn-out carpets, house keeping carts left in hallways, staff arguing in front of guest, front desk ignoring guest. But it is the "Hollywood Hotel, the hotel of Hollywood."

Not clean bad area

Our biggest complaint is that we returned to that hotel for the second time, as we were visiting our daughter who goes to school down there, and we stayed there as its a 4 minute to where she is. So the location is what brougt us back. The manager, Roman, was extremely unfriendly. There are absolutely NO breaks at this hotel what so ever... They charge for every single little extra thing, and when we asked for an extra blanket, they couldn't find any. Its a hotel!!!!

This was a nice clean hotel with free wifi and continental breakfast. Nice breakfast. The room was clean and big and it was a nice quiet hotel. Just seemed wrong area. Not really in Hollywood more the end of Hollywood. There is not much to do around such as eating or seeing in a short 5 minute walk. Close to train station though and there are buses that run up the street.The counter staff were friendly and helped with directions to places. they also helped book tours which was good. Nice hotel just not located well.

Very nice hotel. Customer service can be rather unhelpful for anything other than simple check-in/out... Not all rooms have in-room safes... Make sure that you budget for £20/night car parking which is not included in the rate

Bed was comfortable. Room had a funny smell, sort of like sewer. Small room, kind of ugly. Floor was linoleum, or something like that, which I appreciated for the cleanliness of it. My husband liked the place for the location. He wouldn't mind staying there again. I'm not sure that I would want to.

Great stay. Comfortable hotel. Ideal location, short hop on the metro into LA or Hollywood. Great that breakfast is included in the price with a wide range of options available. Would stay here again if in the area. I found all the staff very attentive.

Arrived at 3, had a meeting at 4. They made us wait 10 minutes to check in so they could change shifts. Not a single staff member was smiling or welcoming in any way. 1 queen room was reserved. We were given two full size beds. Room was small. Toilet wasn't bolted down and did not flush properly. Called the front desk. The staff member said he double room was better located and larger than the queen and it wasn't on the busy street. He said he would have the toilet fixed. When we tried to shower we had to really pull the handle hard just to start the water flow. It took at least 15 minutes for the water to get hot. The room seemed to have central a/c but not heat. They provided a space heater which heated the room but was another obsticle in an already crowded room. Despite DND sign, someone knocked on the door at 10:15 am. We said we were sleeping. They stopped knocking but didn't apologize. At 11:10 am, we got a call asking us to leave as checkout time was 11 am. I exlpained the problems we had with the shower, etc., and the person didn't apologize. She said she'd tell a "houseman" and she'd see us soon when we checked out. The rooms seemed newly remodeled and we did hear construction noise going on. Overall, the stay was most unpleasant. This hotel is not worthy of the 3-star rating it has.

The first thing I want to mention is probably the first thing anyone else would not notice until they went to check in. Parking is $22 a night, per car. I wish they had been a bit more open about this during my reservation. I would have found another place to stay. I checked in, and it's an alright place. It doesn't look too nice from the outside but once you're on the property, the images are pretty accurate. The room was a lot smaller than I expected, but that's fine since I was just using it to stay in and really didn't need any more than it had. Breakfast was served downstairs on the "R" floor, but the elevator had other plans and wouldn't even let me go to the "R" floor, even with my keycard. Not sure what that was about. The hallways looked like an asylum to me... and the maids came to my door every ten minutes every morning and opened the door without knocking most times. Their interruptions were lessened when I put on the DO NOT DISTURB sign, but they were still coming. Eventually I tried just asking them to clean while I was in there since they kept coming back... but they didn't speak English so they didn't understand what I was saying. I really wanted to like this place... but I just don't see myself coming back for any reason other than that they have a great location when it comes to seeing my friends in West Hollywood.

The location near the metro is great. The breakfast with people making omelets was a nice touch. I'd give breakfast a high rating with that alone. The hallways are dark as is the restaurant. There was no carpeting in the hotel room which was weird and not nice.

Everything was great except the beds are on a metal or aluminimun base and noisey when you move, the elveators are slow and they do charge $22 to park which I found a bit steep, but other than that the stay was worth it. Will defintely stay again
