The room was great. Every one was friendly and helpful. We only wish the elevator worked. Carrying heavy luggage up the stairs was tough.

Great: Staff was wonderful, all around

We used the hotel as a place to sleep while visiting with relatives. It was quiet, clean, and breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed one night. The desk clerk could have been friendlier, but that's always the case. You never know what he was dealing with just before we walked in. Although we booked a non smoking room, the room we were given did not have a no smoking sign by the door (other rooms did). But the room was very clean and the only evidence that anyone may have smoked in it was the "frebreeze" odor. We stayed put, and it was fine. The hot breakfast was good and the woman setting it up at 6:00am was working hard and was chipper. Fake eggs that are pretty much standard now were the only letdown. I would recommend this as a stopover hotel.

Good stay. Would like it if the comforter weren't so heavy, but the bed and sheets were very comfortable. Good breakfast buffet.

Really friendly staff. When they found out that we were in town for a funeral, they discounted our room. Pillows could be a little firmer, but the rooms are very nice. Free full breakfast - not continental. Would stay here again.

Room was very clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was really good with wide variety.

Comfortable, but dated.

Upset because of the $50.00 incidental charge against my checking account. Room was prepaid, I got there about 10 at night, left early in the morning, told the person there would be no incidentals, and still $50.00 was removed. Don't like that, and let your manager know. Other than that, all else was fine.

My fiance` lives in Atlanta, GA and on this past week he and my father had plans to go to lunch to discuss some things for the wedding. We reserved a room at the Aloft hotel in Charleston and it was the worst. When entering the hotel there was a stinch in the air that wasn't so pleasant. The place needs to be renevated and it wasn't clean AT ALL. My fiance and I weren't pleased, so we booked a room at the Hampton Inn in Summerville the night before he had to go back to Atlanta. It ws the best. The room was awesome...very clean. The staff was friendly and very easy to work with. We were surrounded by stores and restaurants so everything was convenient and it was so close to the interstate. I would definitely stay to this hotel again. I was very pleased.

This was a very nice hotel. Fresh cookies at the reception counter and a more than adequate breakfast. Nice room - bed was very comfortable and shower was great! Most importantly - this room was super quiet and the in-room heating / cooling unit worked wonderfully. Very nicely furnished and the bathroom was a nice size. Only negative was a strong chemical / cleaning smell in the hall / stairwell. Room might have smelled a little musty, but my handy can of air freshener fixed that in a jiffy!

Great staff, enjoyed my stay.

My stay was wonderful, the room was nice and clean. And, the breakfast was awesome. That was my first time staying at Hampton Inn, but won't be my last

The location of the hotel is in suburban Summerville about 30 minutes from downtown Charleston. It is a nice neighborhood with plenty of restaurants.The hotel was clean, but freshening their lobbies with new wallpaper. There was no noise nor smell from this. The staff was very friendly and professional. The breakfast buffet was quite complete. The only negative from the hotel is that there is no elevator which was a bit of a hassle with a couple of large suitcases.

Very central location, excellent morning buffet, service beyond expectations. Our mini fridge worked to well, froze everything, when we told the front desk they replaced it within 20 minutes with a brand new model, will stay there again.

Let me preface this that I would definitely stay here again. Staff was friendly and helpful, hotel is clean and comfortable. The Pool area well maintained. Breakfast was included and plenty for all tastes. However, it does not have an elevator nor is the fitness room in the main part of the building and you are near the Walmart and Quality Inn, very close to the Highway. I am not saying those are negatives but may be important to some access to Charleston is about 20 minutes away. Nice Hotel definitely recommend worth it!!!!!

This hotel experience was very nice! I loved the continental breakfast and the room was clean and comfortable.

hotel was close to everything you need with a 24 hour wal-mart right next door was great and everything was awesome at the hampton inn i would stay there again

staff was very helpful. Kept the room neat and tidy weren’t pushy early in AM. breakfast was adequate

A wonderful experience. Clean rooms. Excellent breakfast. Conveniently located near Walmart, Target, restaurants, movie theater, etc. Friendly staff. No complaints at all ... even though it rained every day of our trip! All of these perks made up for the weather.

Great room at a good price. Breakfast was above average. Location could be a little better.

Everyone was courteous, and helpful with any detail we requested. The site was located convenient to our relatives whom we joined near Walterboro, SC., and to the Charleston area as well. We were able to tour the area, visit landmarks, and find wonderful restaurants. Assistance from your employees helped make the trip very enjoyable. Your breakfasts were divine! Thank you, Hampton Inn, for making 6 Alabama guests feel so welcome!

The rate was great for the summer and being in Summerville, S.C. They are very friendly at the front desk and the breakfast staff was great and very friendly. Everyone was great!

clean room, and very friendly employees. Price is very good for the area. There is a 24 hour Walmart just across the street, though the area can get very congested due to all the shopping. Things to watch out for though are no elevator for people staying on the second floor, and the morning breakfast is not very good, but it is free.
