Hampton Inn Salt Lake City North - וודס קרוס

HONEST... this was the best hotel experience ever. There was an overall feeling that the staff truly cared about us. They were very personable in our interactions with them. The hotel was extremely clean and comfortable, including the exercise room and pool. Best Hot tub ever. They even had homemade, fresh from the oven, cookies at the front desk. We loved the idea of having a 'sack breakfast' for those who were in a hurry and heading out early. THANKS for such a pleasant stay.

Overall the stay was excellent. The only thing that wasn't what we wanted was a in room jacuzzi that we had asked for during booking. What we got was a jetted tub that we didn't want. The pool and the hot tub were both cold compared to what we have been in at other hotels. Other than that it was great.

Overall it was pretty good. The beds were fairly soft, the room clean, and the staff friendly. The pool and hot tub were my kids favorite items. With a couple of restaurants right next door, and other stores just a few blocks away it was a great location for us. I would recommend it to others.

Hotel was clean and quiet. met all expectations.

This hotel was actually quite nice. The room had been updated and the bathroom as well. The halls seemed quiet (even with my one-year-old wanting to run up and down the hallways for hours) and it was very inviting with the smell of the chocolate chip cookies at the front desk! All in all we had a nice stay. My only complaints were that the mattress was not really to my liking (but you can't please everyone!), and the neighborhood was not ideal. I would definitely stay there again if I was in the area.

Took Grandson to go clothes shopping and lagoon/zoo and this was a great place to stay. Roberta and the young lady who checked us in were absolutely wonderful! Very enjoyable just wish there were more eating establishments besides Dennys and Village.

I was pleased with my stay. I did find that Hotels.com makes quite a bit of money when I book through them. Next time I'll just call the hotel directly.

Nice Hotel in clean condition. Staff was friendly but had limited power to change things. Room was booked wrong but the hotel did make it right and was accomodating.

Always love the Hampton, beds and breakfast were great. Unfortunately, the spa tub was broken, one of the many reasons we use this hotel chain while traveling.

The hotel was great, but it was across the street from a refnery and had the freeway right behind it. Despite this the noise levels were very low inside, hence the high rating.

We usually pick Hampton over other hotels and have had great luck until this time. The service was horrible, the room key didn't work three times, then the TV didn't turn on. They switched our room for the third time and then the internet access didn't work. Breakfast was also horrible the next morning as there was no food out since they ran out.

Despite the ads saying microwaves and refridgerators in all rooms... there aren't. We had to ask for a fridge to be delivered. The ice machine on our floor didn't work...they knew this when I informed them...they gave me directions to the ice machine on the next floor.....they were wrong. One bed seemed like it would collapse and my back is killing me from it. When booking this I had to book by phone as online they wanted to charge me $20 for a second person in the room. We usually like the Hampton Inns, this one is way below the standard.

Good breakfast, clean, comfortable room. Good location next to interstate, but not noisy at all.
