We had a two night stay at the hotel. It is a lovely place with wonderful views out to the golf course. We were given a complimentary drink at the bar as our room wasn't ready but we were early so that was a very nice touch. The reception staff were good and most of the restaurant staff. Service at the bar was a bit slow but I think that was because a lot of groups of golfers were on all inclusive deals and they weren't keen to keep coming round to check if you wanted a drink. The hotel asked if we would like to upgrade to a golf view but we had one anyway with a lovely terrace. Our booking included breakfast. An excellent buffet choice - very much catering to the British market with choice of fry up or continental but also a Spanish breakfast of churros or toast and oil, fruit etc if you preferred. We were asked if we wanted to pay an extra 35€ pp for dinner and entrance to the spa which we did for the first night, Splitting dinner one night and the spa the next day. The spa was excellent. The circuit-indoor pool, steam room, sauna etc were great and the spa was quiet - lovely - as was the facial I had. There are also two outdoor pools. Dinner was a disappointment and let the hotel down. I don't mind having a buffet dinner if the choice is good and the food is hot. Because the deal we took included free drinks it seemed quite hard to get hold of them but it was the only downside to an otherwise lovely stay.

This property must have been gorgeous when it was built. Unfortunately, and unlike the Barcelo chain in general, it has not been maintained. There was numerous peeling paint, leaky faucets, broken swimming pool and doors crooked on their hinges. All the staff with the exception of the front desk staff was excellent and helpful. A pleasant stay for the right price, but definitely not deserving of its 5 star rating for amenities, condition or quality of the food.

Para aquel que vaya a disfrutar de las instalaciones, se encontrará que le sobran al menos tres estrellas. Tiene mucho SPA, campo de golf y demás, pero lo que son las habitaciones propiamente dichas, son viejas y mal equipadas. El personal se comporta de forma demasiado elitista. Tienen suerte de no tener competencia en la zona.

"cerca del circuito"

Elegí este hotel por la cercania sl circuito, íbamos a creamfields y no teniamos coche y se puede bajar andando, perfecto. Fui con mi pareja es un hotel precioso y muy tranquilo, en la habitación tuvimos un percance nos encontramos una cucaracha y nos cambiaron rápidamente pero hay que decir que están muy limpias y son cómodas con su aire acondicionado. El bufet libre muy bueno y variado pero un pico caro y no tenian muy controlado el pago ya que nis cobraron 2 veces en el check out. Los camareros muy amables. A pesar de todos estos problemas creo que si volveré pero solo si voy al circuito ya que está un poco lejos de Jerez.

Restaurant très agréable, personnel aimable et souriant, jolie vue vers le golf et piscine agréable. Mais si l'appartement était spacieux, ce n'est pas du tout du niveau d'un 5 étoiles (décoration vétuste, canapés tachés).

agradecer al personal el trato recibido siendo considerable mente corecto a un cuando por razones de enfermedad pudimos molestar con la visita del servicio de emergencias a la habitacion y pedir disculpas al piloto alojado en la habitacion vecina pero no a su acompañante que no acepto las disculpas de mi parte me hago responsable de las molestias causadas al vecino piloto y eximo de responsabilidad al hotel montecastillo
